DeleteI recently gave my life to Christ and I have been wondering why I have shunned this immense peace for a long time. I just loved the lifestyle of a particular lady at work and i had observed that she is quiet, respectable and knowledgeable. I asked her to tell me about her life and that was how my journey began. I've been learning a lot from her. I have learned to fast and pray. I have learned a lot of Scriptures more than the lifetime I have been going to church. I could call her anytime of the night or day to explain things to me. The terrible nightmare and devilish apparitions I used to have all stopped. Then a tragedy occurred.
ReplyDeleteA particular client said that I collected money from her and did not deliver. Even though I had signed out when this incident happened, this lady was so sure I was the one. They lined up everybody that worked that day and she said I was the one. I was immediately suspended. I feared I will be fired for that has always been how such cases ended. I was on a daily fast then, and I called on this my Christian friend who was on a vacation then and told her all that happened and asked her to pray with me. To the glory of God, I was recalled and that was it. How this lady saw my face when I had signed off remained a puzzle to everybody. I don't know what would have happened it I was fired but I know that the aim of the devils was to separate me from that lady and the joy and peace I was enjoying in my new found faith in Christ.

DeleteI am so glad that you understand. You understand how the devil operates. The Bible advises us to not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy and to note that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood!
When the devil attacks, our marriage, finance, health, job etc. It is to steal, kill and destroy your faith so you are ultimately separated from the love of God.
When a Christian knows this, he is guarded all times with the recommended weapons of warfare!
Another powerful point I noted from your testimony is the fact that you became attracted to Christianity by your colleagues lifestyle.
Christianity is a way of life and a lifetime of devoted worship to God in thoughts, words and deeds.
A lot of us do not walk the talk because we fail to do the responsible thing of consistently renewing our minds and activating the ressurection power within us.
Please remain steadfast because the enemy never gives up!

I want to bless the LORD because HE put the devil to shame again. I wrote an exam yesterday and few days to that yesterday I was just feeling sick unnecessarily. My write arm which I write with was paining me seriously and I was feeling very sick I prayed to God to give me strength. To His Glory I went for the exams and used my hand well. I'm just amazed that immediately I got home after the exams all the sickness symtoms disappeared. God is GREAT! the devil is a liar and will always be a liar.he has failed over me.

DeleteThank you Lord for my life and the life of my family. We recently did the burial of our grandmother and despite a diabolical uncle and a few other family members everything went well. What the enemy meant for evil God turned around for our good. I am thankful for all those who stood by us in spirit and in truth. God is the greatest.

ReplyDeleteGrateful to a God that never puts his children to shame...I wished I was going to be placed on a project that would last longer, but I knew my immediate boss would rather put her sister, I didn't lose sleep over it at least I was on a project.
ReplyDeleteThen I got a call from Port Harcourt that I was put on the new project and will be the deputy of the guy handling it and my immediate boss wasn't even aware of the whole plan until she hot an email to that effect. I got home that day and couldn't pray, I just kept crying. Ah! How can God be so mindful of me? Made things to play out just to work in my favour.
Lord I am here to say thank you, your daughter is thankful.

ReplyDeleteI like to think that I'm the greatest sinner alive. I did something I'm not proud of and told God to have mercy and cleanse me. Alas I backslided some weeks back and asked God to have mercy on me and give me sufficient grace to avoid temptation. But lately I feel the enemy is punishing me reminding me of how I backslided and how I might likely go back. Things are not really working out well for me. So please as many of you that will read this comment join your faith with me that I will REDEEM the time the enemy has stolen from me. I promise to come back here and testify to the glory of God. I feel God is using me to break some generational curses in my family. I need to be covered in prayers. Please!my prayer warriors here, Please join your faith with me please. Thank you.

Looking at where I came from; the slum to where I am today is a big achievement..I'm happy I was able to pay my brother fees all through his private university and in few months, he will be a graduate. I'm grateful for my promotion last year and also passing my ielts which was a stumbling block in my immigration process and getting ITA.This year I pray that you bless me with the fruit of the womb and that my pr falls through before April...

I honestly do not know where to start....Will I tell you about how he pulled me out of situations; depression, strife, sadness, bad relationships/ friendships, failure... How about how he never leaves me, how I feel loved in his presence, how he provides for me, kai, blesses me. I have never commented, but I want to encourage everyone that reads this, stick to and with God the best you can, he will make all things that concern you beautiful and peaceful. God is good, we are truly privileged to know him.
