  2. I promise you a lot of Nigerian girls are hearing these names and seeing these faces for the first time.
But talk about "reality stars" and who f8ked in the big f8k houses even ten years ago, and they will chant them and tell you the names of all the housemates. 😏😏😏😏

    1. The way some of you generalise is disheartening .
Didnt you see the 19 year old that would rather sell pure water to purchase her books than sleep with a man isnt she a nigerian girl?

    2. @Chocolate, she said all the lazy Nigerian girls. The person you wrote about is not in that category cos you described her in a hardworking way.

  6. Some one might say-they got it through connection, but do your checks first before running to that conclusion.
It is never easy at the top. The pressure to stay relevant. You must truly have something exceptionally relevant to offer, for you to retain positions as such. Its not just about having the money. If it were that, of course there are positions for non-executive dirctors.
But to be a relevant frontliner? Think again.

None of them got where they are without the needed connections. #Fact

So if you want your daughters to aspire to be like them, you the parent have to begin the groundwork

    3. Your fathers name can only open the doors for you...But for you to get to the level these women are you need to be extraordinarily smart,hard-working and have tenacity.
It's one thing for your father name to get you a job in the Bank;dat happens all the time. But rising through the ranks to chairman you have to have proven yourself. It's not beans.
Bank that they sack anyhow. Don't perform and see if you will ever get to managerial level. It's a tough job.
My first professional job i got it through my aunt, she was a Director. But after that she washed her hands off and even did like she doesn't know me in the company sef. If I didn't perform its my problem.

    4. None of you get my point. Apart from their own work ethics, these women didn't get where they are without the right support, whether parents and/or husbands.

So, apart from showing your daughters this picture, you the parents need to do your own work. You need to be someone who can fully equip your daughter with the right education, tools and connections where necessary.

  12. God bless you 13:45. Success comes in different forms, the 3 most successful blogs in Africa are owned by women, women are succeeding in the medical sector, law, catering, fashion etc. Why all the pressure on women sef? I see Dangote's meme and it reads "Dangote's father was also a billionaire, he owned a private jet in his time blah blah blah" indirectly telling men not to pressure themselves, but it's different for women. We must be book smart, home smart, other room smart. Nawa God help us.

  13. Ano 14:15 you have said it all, I believe in this our country every woman is hardworking, just that there is no job opportunities I hope there's no one that doesn't want to look good.

  15. Agreed they are well clothed. And young girls should take a cue. But I can tell you that some of these women are devil's in sheep's clothing that will never agree to mentor those young girls you are talking about to be like them. And because they are well clothed doesn't make them saints. I hope you know.(a little digression is allowed)

    2. I know Mrs Awosika mentors ladies. Some of these women like Mrs Awosika are in WimBiz. The only issue is that ladies who know of and participate in WimBiz are ladies from the upper class.

Besides, i'm sure some of these women have had to deal with wolves in sheep coverings, i.e. women pretending to want to learn from them whereas they are actually planning to seduce their husbands.
