OAP Toolz Edits Instagram Profile To Single Name...

Popular On air personality Toolz Demurn has edited her Instagram profile and taken off the name ''Demuren'' and this movie has set a lot of tongues wagging that there is fire on the mountain....

I dont know why she edited her hubbys name off her page but Marriage is not easy at all and when a woman is pissed off with a man she loves, things like this can happen... if she is indeed going through a storm with her better half;i pray that God restores what the locust has eaten.

Those of you that always like to celebrate news like this, please note that Marriage takes the Grace of God,sometimes you just wanna walk aways and when the times are sweet, you dont wanna go nowhere.....

    1. The way they rush to SM to announce and edit whatever is annoying.
If your marriage is going through
rough times, the last thing on your mind should be taking off your husband's name on SM, are you divorced?

Is this to pepper him or for publicly stunts?

These people need to think before going into marriage. They make it seem like a joke. Today I am upset I remove my husbands name, Tomorrow we make up I add his name again.

The lord will heal your marriage Tunde and Tolu.

Our men really need to do better. Around the time they got engaged i had heard abt his many escapades;i even know a girl i heard he was seeing and dat one didnt know abt Toolz and was shocked abt the whole thing. But i didnt believe, thot its just rumours.
Hope they are able to work things out. Toolz may just be taking some time to figure things out. Smtimes when these men mess up you need to step away,so they understand the consequence of their action. They may still reconcille. Wish them luv and lite.

    12. Some ladies will open their two eyes and marry a womanizer. How do you want to enjoy the marriage even when there is money? No peace of mind and happiness when you know your husband is sleeping around.

A man cheats on you while dating, he begs you and you continued with him and marry him.

I don't pity women who knowingly marry a cheat.

No man will marry a lady who cheated on them while dating.

Our women are so stupid most times.

You cant use business class anymore, you cant drive one car for too long, every post u do is seen as a message. if you are nursing a headache in a semi public place, they say you are snob. Ok if you rearrange your social media account to be semi private they say; seeking attention....and so on

Not to talk of those v desperate hungry bloggers that wake up with fever and contort an epistle untop your life, marry 4 spouses to you complete with 20kids, as if those class of bloggers know anything about the celeb life were physically there. Pipu actually choose this profession sha? hiaaan

    15. @Abroadian BV- a woman does not just wake up one morning and decide to remove her husband's name. That decision for a public figure like Toolzo would have been well thought through.

It probably has taken months of deciding and a woman only takes that decision when the marriage is broken down and irreconcilable.

Spouses unintentionally hurt their other half and it doesn't mean the end of the marriage. Challenges will come in any marriage and no one is an exception. How far may even be from other couple's marriage so ki lon gbe ki le ju. Is Eka a spirit or she married a spirit in? 1. Mine too. But even within our parents generation, there were lots of broken marriages, we just didn't know about them. I remember thinking every family was like mine until I attended boarding school at an FGGC. I remember my friends had horrible stories.. from domestic to family violence to drunk and absentee fathers or mothers and so on. Even some couples that appear good we later found out had a really sour marriage..the only thing is that most of them never officially divorced.

My mom worshiped my dad,she calls on his name when ever she hurt herself or in a confused state..
My mom can even kill any of her children for my father if he ask her to..
When my father died she almost went mad,she will prepare my father's food, placed on the dinning table and she will ask me to go and wake up my father to come and eat..
It was heart breaking, they never quarrelled, they drink beer and eat suya then gossip every night..
My parents flat was different from ours, because they don't want children disturbing their alone time..
But when I got married, I had to praise my mom,she tried..
Marriage is hard work, especially on the bitter days..

It doesnt mean money... People marry for plenty other wrong reasons.
Some will claim a guy is too boring for them but be looking for an all night, 6pack happining nigga
Then when you marry him, you expect him to sit at home and become a "home man"

The generation before us made it so effortlessly, making us look forward to our own homes and partners. My generation, please what is going on? Why are we quick to give up on ourselves? There is help- counseling, therapy, prayer, meditation and seeing being the hurt caused by either party. Please, Tolu, work this out. 2. How do you advise a person who doesn't ask for advice? It's usually the women who write chronicles and ask for advice so we advise them. You want us to leave the women and advice the men who would not even read the chronicles? Most times it's the women who fight to save the marriage. Some men misbehave because they want the marriage over but are too cowardly to come out straight so they keep frustrating the women until they leave by themselves.

  25. So, if they settle (assuming say na quarrel trutru), she will now "add" the name again abi? Childish tantrums. If you are a celeb, no need to add your husband's name on your social media handles/page/profiles. It's the easiest way for people to know when something is "supping" in your marriage.

Badass women like Florence Ita-Giwa and Bola Kuforiji-Olubi no dey commot any husband name once dem don add am. Florence Ita and Dele Giwa went their separate ways but she no gree go back to her maiden name even after the man remarried. Who dem born well to challenge her? Our senior mummy Bola added the new husband's name to the former one and kuku turned it to compound name. Bukky Wright did not officially divorce all her husbands but you wouldn't know because she never added their names in the first place. Men in showbiz don't have this problem so, women in showbiz be wise. A married woman is a woman that haff chopped liver. Use the name forever/until you remarry or don't bother to add it at all if you will be changing it anytime there's an issue. I love Toolz and da Captain together but na who wear high-heels know whether e balance well. I wish them peace, understanding and plenty love.

  26. Stella you are right about marriage
My marriage is eight years and I must confess that some days I regret marrying at all.
Last year I edited my husband's name on my phones contact list from 'my darling' to his first name. The day he saw it he was angry and asked why. I told him he cannot be my darling when he keeps talking down on me and disrespecting me. I told him he is free to edit my name to anything he likes that he can't call me sweet names now and the next minute he is insulting me. I warned him to stop calling me sweety, honey and the rest. He should call me by my first name or Mama Debby(not real name). He too changed my name on his phone to my first name but the thing is still paining him. He mentioned it recently.

I also went on Facebook and removed his last name from my name. I use a neutral name now, my first name and something neutral. My friends thought something had happened but I still post loved up pictures of us and the kids so they know we are still together. He is very sweet most times but gets so annoying sometimes that you want to disown him as husband😁. In all, he is a good husband, doesn't cheat or hit me, just talks anyhow sometimes, he is also very caring and hardworking.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Reason why I use a neutral name on sm. Friends have labelled me all sorts and I love it because no one knows my marital status; some inbox pity-party messages etc while showing me their loving 'marriages', I just dey laugh. Not only men are guilty of cheating but also women.

    2. My name on SM is still my maiden, even my email still my maiden name and i dont plan on changing it. At work i use my married name though my documents still carry the old name.
Only thing i changed is my passport. And dats because we travel as a family.
Even if a celebrity marriage is in crisis. I dont believe in all this removing of name or removing of rings. It gives too much away. Your partner knows you both are going through it,no one else needs to know until those divorce papers are signed. And we know that takes years.
In that time who is to say you cant get back together.

  27. Those who actually understand what marriage is know that marriages should be kept off social media. Marriages are too sacred to be spread like clothes on a clothesline for the whole world to see. It is a sacred covenant between a man, his woman and God Almighty. May the Lord open the eyes of understanding of today's married couples.

Man is busy showing off wife (who is so proud to be a 'woman and mother in Israel' and has been holding forth since the union, while horseband is busy inboxing single ladies asking to be eating as chocolate for dinner. When women show off their spouse and how 'loving' he is, I so laugh in Spanish. That loving, harmless man who 'chose' saint 'u' among all the ladies may just be a ..., hmmm.

If this is the way you talk, you might wake one day and no longer have a marriage to face. It's happened to so many don't think it can't happen to you. I don' wish that for you though. Be humble. You mustn't respond to every hater with such words.

  28. Marriage is not always sweet.
There are times things are sweet, there are times things are rough. But the best thing is just to keep calm, keep praying and trust God. Because some decisions you make during the rough times can jeopardize everything totally.
When i got married 4years ago, it was all sweet and yummy, but along the line,2yrs on, with our delay in childbearing, everything began to look rough and all. We would quarrel over the slightest thing, malice began to set in. We could go 3 straight days without talking to each other, we would only exchange ‘good morning greetings’. Reporting to this person, talking to that person. Hmmm, they almost tore us apart. ‘Loved ones’ giving the most wicked advice😭. Issues here and there, with our ttc state, it was a very difficult time. I wont lie, i got fed up. I said to myself, i married the sweetest man, what could be the problem? Why is he a different person now? I didn't know as i was seeing him as a different person, he was seeing me too as a different person. We would prefer to talk to someone else than talk to each other.
I turned to God in prayers, i would only talk to my parents, and they would only preach peace and patience. Before when they tell me about patience, i would flare up, ‘he is doing this, doing that, and you’re telling me about peace...bla bla’
I began to listen in patience, pray and pray. And not only pray, i began to change too. I stopped ‘carrying face’ stopped the malice totally. Would say good morning with a smile. He would come back from work and also say hello with a bright smile. We began to change gradually, till we opened up to each other and cried and cried. With time, i realized the issue was just ‘third parties’ God 😭😭😭. The same people who would give me the brightest smile, was giving my husband the most wicked advise about me 😭. Maybe they were telling him stuff with jazz in their mouth i cant understand. I mean a God-fearing man, the nicest and sweetest person just changed like that. Why they were doing that, i cant tell. You see this faithful God ehn, He will always be God. To cut the long story short, God restored the peace in our home, we hold hands to pray, the love is stronger than that of when we just got married. We now remember those difficult times now and smile and say thank you Lord🙏🏾 We tell each other everything now. And i just pray that God will continue to keep my home in Jesus name. And i pray that God will restore peace in every home. Amen. So toolz and hubby might just be going through one of those times. All will be well with them❤️

    4. The truth is one needs alot of patience with men. They are just a different breed.
Do you want to keep changing them like wrapper. Once DV isnt involved and the man is not dos chronic cheat that disgrace their wives i believe in sorting things out. Especially with men you know on a regular are good fathers and good providers but they just have brain spark.
My husband can be soooo annoying. He is also very proud and likes to keep malice. But i know he isnt a womanizer and he is a good provider. So many times we argue i have just had to be the bigger person. Even if i see he isnt talking to me,i will still greet him,i will still cook for him. I will even still send him messages at work to check up on him like i do daily. I have just had to swallow my pride many times. Sometimes i stand my ground on some issues. But above all i dont let our fights escalate,i still give him his respect even in arguements. The minute you start disrespecting eachother with abusive words, next will be beating eachother up. So i avoid it.

So if your husband cheats on you but the type that disgraces you, you will remain with him until he gives you HIV AIDS?. And what do you mean by changing men? Must I remarry or date men if I leave my husband? Do I need a man to validate my existence? This your warped thinking is the reason some women keep torturing themselves in the name of marriage.
PS: I am married and my man does not cheat or beat me. Any day he does, he knows how far

    1. You didn't need to leave and go to your parent's house except it is a situation of domestic violence where you may fear for your safety. You should make all efforts to always sort out any issues without 3rd parties being aware. You could as well stay at home , create your own space and cool your head then both of you will communicate and resolve issues.

It’s exhausting. iPad help us naija women.

    4. That's why it's good for a girl to have her own money, so that in times like this, she'll just jet off to some exotic island to cool off and think through. If he loves you enough, let him get on a plane and come meet you there even if he has to borrow; can't afford a trip, get a girl's pad somewhere away from home, remain there, let him come woo you right back on his knees and RENEW THE UNION. I think that would make marriage more interested

    1. Coming on social media to call you father a 'buffoon' is sooo wrong. When you use such abusive words on people, it is rather a reflection of the kind of person you are than on the person you try to portray in bad light.

    2. @anon 14:34, leave anon 13:56 alone to express his/her feelings. You don't know how painful it is to watch a parent suffer in the hands of another and die before the bad one.

Many adults watched their mother fast and pray and take care of their financial needs while their fathers cheats with different women and contributes nothing to their lives. When the children are old enough to take care of their mother, she's dead and the useless father enjoys because the world will tell them to forgive and forget, after all, he is their fathers.

  45. It was a bad move to change it in the first place. Her social media pages are an extension of her professional life, so she should have kept her professionally recognizable name on her social media and not change it after marriage. Why high profile women do this I don't know. Always assuaging men's egos for no logical reason. You are known professionally under one name and recognized by your fan base under that name then let it remain that way after marriage. Marriage is about how you care for your spouse, not names on social media.

  46. Lots of Nigerian men were not raised up well. Then the ladies (wives and girlfriends) cut them a lot of slack.

Marriage is not easy has always been the excuse. Who made it difficult?

Why don't men pray to keep or preserve their marriages? God made them the spiritual heads of their homes. No, they slack off.

*ISAAC INTERCEEDED IN PRAYER FOR REBECCA FOR 20 YEARS UNTIL GOD OPENED HER WOMB TO CONCEIVE.*

The wives carry prayer on their heads while the husbands gallivant around doing all sorts.

Nigerian women behave like "Isacchar...when he sees how good is his resting place and how pleasant is his land, he will bend his shoulder to the burden and submit to forced labor." Gen 49:15

Did the wives and mothers of yesteryears have better? No!
Most of them endured and tolerated nonsense from their husbands, then passed it on to their daughters - suffering and smiling.

For the lady that said they confided in third parties, I'm sorry you had to learn the wrong way. May God bless you with children that will bring you joy and honour.
Your husband acted the way he did because he felt it was your fault not his for delayed conception. That's another nonsense men push off on women. Often it is men that have the problem as it has been medically proven.

My only brother and wife has been ttc for 14 years. They both went for treatment. She was scared of fibroid surgery and none of us pressured her for one day. She eventually had the surgery at a time her faith was strong.
Mom and us 3 sisters do not visit their home. My brother gets the scolding when he falls out with his wife.

I say it again, most Nigerian men were not raised up well.

If this continues with the sons we are raising today, most future marriages will not last a year. I dare say that the daughters that are in their teens and twenties now leave much to be desired.

    Parents do your work.

Ladies, do not tolerate nonsense while dating a man.

Wives stop making excuses for your husbands and making sacrifices they should make as Christ did for the Church, His bride.
If you like, behave like Isacchar and become a slave in your marriage.
