Pastor Allegedly Buys Baby From Couple For N1.8 Million

One Mr Francis Onachukwu and his wife Mrs Eunice Onachukwu have been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for stylishly selling their 3 month old baby to their pastor.

Some neighbors who spoke on anonymity disclosed that, since the sudden disappearance of the child, the couple bought a new car which they believe is from the proceeds of their child they sold.

The couple denied the allegations but after much pressure they confessed to have given their child to their pastor as a first fruit offering which is written in the bible but denied selling the innocent child.

After several investigations, the Pastor disclosed that the couple told her they want to sell their child because they know i’m yet to have my child, they requested for 2 million naira but we later settled at 1.8million naira

Speaking on the strength of the report, the Delta State Public Relations Officer, Pius Azubuike says the suspects will be charged to court for child trafficking as soon as investigations are concluded.

    1. They don't even value what they have. When people are looking for children. These ones are here playing hide and seek with theirs. There is more to this story. Mtchew... Who knows if the pasta is the real father of the child.

  3. The pastor should have used the right channel, why buy a baby when you can adopt and have the full right and custody.

  5. The way i see it, the couple willingly gave their child to be adopted by the pastor. However, the exchange of money has turned it to something else

  6. This is really sad, especially for the pastor who just wanted a child.

Don't even know how to feel

  7. So buying a car is the next thing? This is greed, not poverty.

  8. So sad how a parent can comfortably sell their child. Buying a car with the money mean't they didn't do it because they can't afford to train the child.

  9. If d story here is true, I feel more for d Pastor & whatever that transpired wasn’t in bad fate. It was willingly transacted. D couple should have relocated to another vicinity , to avoid d knowledge of d neighbors. Settlement is in order.

  10. Selling ones child is wrong.
I don't understand the worship of cars by most Nigerians. So one gives a poor person 1.8 million Naira and the first thing they do is to buy a car?
If that car was not bought, if they invested this money in a business to improve their lives, will they have been reported? Live well in jail and learn your lessons from there.

  11. I believe the couple willingly and even convinced the pastor and wife to have the child.

I guess the pastor had to suggest giving them money, to avoid them coming on future to lay claims to a child they have given to their pastor out of free will.

I pray God visit the Pastor with his and then this shame to miracle for his family

    2. You didn't see anything wrong ? I know you wouldn't be saying this if they are close to you. Like if the lady was your sister.

  13. If you can afford 1.8million Naira to buy a child, what stops you from adopting??
The fear that you don't know if the baby is from a mad woman??
Adoption stigma is so 1990,avoid trouble by doing things through the right channel..
Kai hope they did not spend their night in jail, this Coronavirus of a thing๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜“
