Good Morning everyone!

May today turn out a perfect day for you, especially if you live any of the locked down states.

Yesterday i launched my career in barbing of hair and i think it will turn out nice....My Bambinos and hubby loved the hair cuts i gave them....It was not easy during the hair cut,the small ogas kept saying ''Mama stop pushing my neck, stop making my head go this way, stop it,if you have a salon i will not come''......I tried and have told hubby man to learn how to cut on hair youtube...hehehehehehehe #learnsomethingthislockdown

We have been on lockdown here since March 13th and it is supposed to last until April 20th but i don't see the kids going back to school anytime soon cos that would be avenue to spread it.......Na God hand everybody dey, especially with all these conspiracy theories flying around and causing so much fear....

Enjoy your day.............

E go be ✌✌✌

  1. Rhapsody Today!!

    Accept Rebuke And Correction!!
    2 Timothy 3:16.

    Excerpts!!

"Some people grew up in homes where no one could reprimand them for wrong doing; not even their parents. It explains why, even after giving their hearts to Christ, they still find it difficult to accept correction in the house of God"

"It's important that you yield to the Word to mould your character and give you a new mind-set. Refuse to accept and allow your senses to dominate or control you"

"Don't be inflated with pride when someone is talking to you, trying to correct you with the Word of God. Accepting rebuke and correction is humility; it reveals your greatness, because truly great people are very humble"

    Today's Confession!!

Precious Father, I thank you for your Word that's profitable to me for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, and that brings perfection into my life. I'm forever yielded to the lordship of your Word, to mould me in excellence and humility, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  3. od is present come rain or shine. He is even present when we fail to realize it. It’s important that we not only turn our focus back to praise when we begin to lose hope but also that we turn to praise and thank him in times of abundance. Many of us are quick to question God when things go wrong, but slow to honor Him when things go well. One of the biggest challenges here is turning every blessing He pours into our lives back into praise. One way we can do this is through thanking him and showing gratitude.
Just take a little minute out of your time to say THANK YOU JESUS.

    Beautiful morning to y'all

  5. GOD IS YOUR ULTIMATE PROVIDER.

“And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19, Amplified.

I remember when my husband and I had reached a point when I was about to head for the hills. We were under great financial pressure and everything in me wanted to say, “I can do bad all by myself!” But thank God even in my emotions, the Holy Spirit reminded me that God is my ultimate provider, not my husband or anyone else. The Lord reminded me that He is the source of everything I need, and once that truth settled deep in my heart, I was able to stop feeling so angry at my husband and our situation, and was able to focus on letting God help us get through it, and He did.

My sister, as hard as things may be right now, I need you to focus on letting God help you get through it. God will meet your need even when your husband is unable to. He may have been laid off, or you may be a single mother and having to take care of the home all by yourself. Whatever the case may be, the Lord will provide supernatural provision and will see you through every trial.

Turn all of your attention and focus on the Lord and say with all your heart, “Lord, I put my trust in you right now to take care of me. I am your daughter and you are my King. You are my ultimate provider and my source. I place all of my expectations on you. I ask that you fill every lacking place in my home and every lacking place in me. Strengthen me God. Encourage my husband deeply and help him know with confidence that everything will be alright no matter what happens, because you are our God and you are our provider. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

  14. You people are not nice on this blog oh. People have been asking for suggestions of movies and series and no one here deemed it fit to mention 'the men's club'

It was one Cameroon lady that directed me to it when we were exchanging ideas on Naija movie to be watched.

Let me digress. A prophet isn't recognised in his home at all. The way West Africans watch and love Naija movie ehn, I was totally amazed. Like we are everywhere but we don't even know it. I was suggesting her watching 'the Prophet'. Told her she shouldn't expect too much from it but if she likes those kinda movies, she will like that one. So I asked her if she knows Ken Erics. And she was like, 'ofcourse, who doesn't know him'. I bet half the people here dunno him. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Back to the men's club. I think this is the cleanest naija YouTube series I've ever seen. Such beautiful actors and actresses, so beautiful acting. There's one lady there that talks exactly like Beverly Naya (I'm obsessed with the way she talks). The accent of some of those ladies ehn. Impeccable and sweet to just listen to (if only dem dey do surgery for that kind of accent, I'd Rob a bank to get one).

And Ayoola (Mide), that guy is an actor that shouldn't be ignored at all. His acting is like top notch and so natural. Make I stop abeg, I dey go sleep.

With chatting on social media we will spend less money in recharge cards. The amount I have spent so far trying to call him back or speak to him everyday is much. If I add up what I have spend I would have ise it to buy or sow seed in the life of someone.

This man looks like one with plenty baggages, how can you not owe an ordinary android phone. I am not talking about expensive one but a smartphone that you can access internet.

Now you are using the lockdown to give me excuses of not buying a phone. Well I will not call you again till you have sense and buy a phone. If I miss your calls na text message I go send you or if you ask me to call you I will tell you I don't have airtime. If you cannot send me an airtime just hold your peace and be the one calling.

I need a man that will be spoiling me with recharge cards not the one I will be calculating how much airtime I have spend and yet he hasn't recharge my phone for once. All thanks to his younger brother my colleague that linked us together, is that what he was any me to deal with😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

    I am 41, I think I am pregnant. I have a 3 year old son.

I haven't done any preg test yet, just a missed period, will get the clearblue pregnancy test in a bit and confirm.

I am nervous because of my age, it took me a while to get pregnant for my first due to fibroids. I took out the fibroids and conceived 3 months after.

Though I live abroad, I am also nervous because of this Covid19. I know I am high risk due to my age and need to be monitored but with this virus everywhere, how will I be able to go to the hospital frequently?

Secondly, you don't need to be going to the hospital every week if you already have a gynaecologist that you're registered with. If you are not already registered to any; you can check online and see if there's anyone close to you.

Your gynaecologist can do home service or you visit her private office instead of going to the hospital every week, at least until after your second trimester.

La-roche, body shop body butters, e45 are all good toners.

  40. So I read old posts and saw comments about washing of husband's clothes.

Women, every marriage is different, what works for Mama Junior may not work for Mama Joy.
My husband has never touched his clothes since we got married. The only thing he does is to iron them and my daughter's clothes too.
I see to it that all dirty clothes in the house are washed. When we were okay financially, we had a washing machine and when it got faulty or no light and generator got faulty, I used to pay someone to come to the house every weekend and wash all the clothes, my home was peaceful.
Then life happened and we relocated and moved to a one room apartment, we couldn't afford that lifestyle anymore. I now proudly wash all the clothes in the house with my bare hands. I have just one daughter.
My husband appreciates it and provides for us with all his might. He protects me from external aggression and loves me with everything he has. My home is still peaceful.
In other homes, the husband sees to the washing of his own clothes. When the washing machine or power generator gets faulty or life happens, the man uses his own hands to wash his own clothes and they are okay with the arrangement. Everybody is happy, the home peaceful..

Do what works for your marriage, the most important thing is a happy home.

    2. Truely, every marriage is different. Stayed with my aunty for awhile last year and I noticed that she is always the person that does her husband's laundry. In fact, her husband have never washed his clothes in their 15 years of marriage. The highest he can wash is his handkerchief. But he does the ironing of clothes for the family. My aunty have never ironed clothes in their marriage except when he is not around.

Another woman I know does not know the road to the market because her husband's loves to do the shopping and he is so good at it and she is happy about it. At first, she revolted, and that is because of the influence of her friends. But did it yield waters, NO. She just adjusted and is now enjoying it.
What am I saying in earnest...

Women make your home a home, don't allow some insignificant issues to destroy or Mar your home.

    6. You have spoken not but the truth. Do what works for you and the strength you have. My only problem is when you are being forced to do work you don't want to do. My sister can't stand piled dirty clothes so her type will wash for her husband and have no problem with it. Another thing is, when you guys start out agreed the way things will go and someone shifts the goalpost. Problem. God bless your family. I'm still looking at what detergent did to my wrist yesterday. End of the year gift to myself will be a strong washing machine God being my helper.

    7. Wow! This is how my own mum washed my dad's clothes. My late husband on the other hand did not allow me to wash clothes. Different strokes.

  44. Stella Mosques are open and functioning in Abuja, they even have effontery to call for prayer with their speakers. Is there not supposed to be a lock down in Abuja? Why is nobody talking about it. Enter the streets in Abuja you will see the neighborhood Mosques open and functioning. This is totally unacceptable.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Maybe its the area that you reside in.

I don't believe that the national mosque is open.
Someone that I often communicate with told me the ones in his area are closed and he mostly go for prayers at the national mosque.

      Delete
    2. National mosque is not open but street Mosques are packed full with people. Doesn't the lock down cover every aspect? When churches were closed down didn't they enter streets to arrest pastors with street churches open? So why are street Mosques open? If street Mosques can be open then churches in streets should be opened too. If Funke Akindele that threw a party can be arrested, party that held for just a few hours o, why are these ones that meet 5 times a day left to do what they want. Nobody is above the law and no religion needs their place of worship more than the other

      Delete
    3. In the area I stay the Mosques are up to three and th are all working. The people worshiping in each mosque are way way more than 20 people if not up to 40

      Delete
    4. Why complain? Leave them be. By the time, one person infects them all their numbers reduce. The new cases in abuja are more of Muslims and Christians not cos they travelled but they came in contact with someone who did. How you ask? Mosque. I say let them kill themselves...Nigeria will be better off without them.

Won't bother reading replies, but no, I'm not tribalistic. I'm just tired of seeing incompetent, illiterate people appointed to positions of power over their Christian, educated and qualified counterparts who are passed over cos of "their religion" and that the zombie ratfucker in chief is from their tribe.

Stella keep practising, it gets better with time.
I wonder how parents who cannot make their children's hair will cope in this lockdown cos its even risky to take kids to a salon in states where there is no lockdown I make my daughter's hair by myself. Before the Covid19 issue, I used to make it once in while when I am too busy or broke to take her to the salon, now I use her hair to try different styles. I already learned how to make hair in my younger days using tenants children.
Yesterday I made a beautiful style and complimented it with colorful beads. Now this my neighbour had been using style to tell me I will make her two daughter's hair this weekend.

Another week of lockdown, amidst fear, tension and intense prayers,it is well.
May the souls of all the faithful departed through the
Mercy of God rest in peace.

Those clamoring for the cancellation of the isolation, remember that the 232 in Lagos especially may not be the actual figure for confirmed cases and if you die from contracting the virus, your family wont get your body for burial rites, you will be cremated, lock your doors and stay in.
And please prepare for an extension in Lagos.

Sat:2 guys from cleaning agency got us on black gloves, cleaning our home in and out, they worked outside,we worked inside all by ourself, changing position of things and all that, more like a home mini make over.

By evening, a resident brought in 2 buses loaded with raw eggs, from a poultry on the outskirts that was shutting down to avoid excess losses, the bakeries and hotels that buy from them had closed and you cant stop the layers from eating and laying eggs,so they are killing and storing to shut down too, onee crate was N1,000 and we ended up with with 12crates at 9am, the eggs slept,in the security post anyway to avoid any stories,we just sat down debated and hit the ovens then stored up,the whole residency was baking and every where oozing different aromas.
Let us remember Enterpreneurs making losses at this time in our prayers,it is shocking.
