    1. R/State is a walking time bomb. The unreported death, same person that infected the last case, was lodged in a hotel taking treatment from health workers and possibly infected a lot of people. The last case ran to his village and was taking treatment there, now he's dead. No way to follow up on surveillance. It's not just about locking down. More needs to be done and governors need to cut down on the politics

  2. If this Wuhan virus is not contained as soon as possible, the end result is going to be very disastrous in Nigeria.

Why are there still more new cases springing up daily even with the lockdown

Stay indoor people, there are so many asymptomatic carriers of the virus outside. Stubbornness in this time of pandemic is not the answer.

  3. My anger with the government is that they are not doing the needful, how can the police Allow people to travel from one state to another.

They should lockdown all the parks, anyone traveling on the road should be send back to the same state. But no people are still traveling bringing in danger to innocent resident that have been on lockdown.

    1. People are dying in kano. My former neighbour died yesterday. I think the medical association need urgent meeting so that private hospitals can do something about how to protect their staff and patients as the first point of call seems to be private hospitals. I hear the NCDC are not even active in kano at all.

    1. My dear coronavirus is real, but Nigeria case has not gotten up to this... If it was so serious there should be more deaths in Lagos than the ones already recorded, besides 2 weeks incubation period or death how come some persons have been in that hospital more than 3 weeks... Lying country. I'm entitled to my own opinion.

  10. If they government cannot provide for the petty traders, cab drivers, bus drivers, it will be extremely difficult for them to stay at home. Anything I stroll out, I will see people hiding to sell their wares, keke, taxi and bus drivers plying with reckless abandon

  11. Right now I'm scared, my brother is on his way home right now from Lagos because his oga asked him to leave his house after 8 years because he disobeyed his order during this lock down and he has no place to stay in that Lagos. He is on his way to the East. I don't know what to say nor do

  13. May God help us all.. I don't know why people are still allowed to travel, my close friend traveled from Benue to Aba yesterday. Though taking short distance /trips till he reached Aba. Once police collect bribe from the taxi drivers,, they will let them pass.

Even as we do everything within our power to stay safe, please let's not forget to keep interceding with prayers for ourselves, family, nation and the world at large. Let's not get weary of praying cos if there's a man to pray, then there's a God to answer.

I believe that this too shall soon pass

  16. This is very annoying. How can people still travel out of their states. At Alafia bustop luxurious buses still ply night and our police and custom officials will collect #200 and allow them to go making govt effort on this covid-19 fruitless. I don't why our people cannot behave.
