Actor Kelvin Ikeduba Says God Left Nigeria A Long Time Ago....

Nollywood Actor, Kelvin Ikeduba has said that God does not recognise Nigeria as a country.
In a viral clip on social media transcribed by The Cable, the 43-year-old movie star can be seen comparing Nigeria to China in terms of development and religious demographics while questioning the African country’s priorities.

Ikeduba also criticised Nigeria for having many wealthy religious leaders yet nothing to show for it.

“Look, quote me anywhere. God left Nigeria a very long time ago. Don’t get me wrongly,” the Igbo actor can be heard saying in the video.

“God does not recognize Nigeria as a country, God recognizes the individuals. a long time ago. We have the richest pastors and alfas in the world.

“If I pray to God now, he answers me. I don’t know about you. But Nigeria as a country God left a long time ago. We have the biggest pastors and churches in the world. Let’s stop fooling ourselves.

“We have the richest alphas, malams, and pastors in the world. We’re the only country that goes to church Monday to Monday, and to mosque Friday to Friday. We’re the ones for fasting, vigils.

“Yet, look at our country. Ask yourself, who have we been praying to? Mondays when some others are hustling to work, some Nigerians are hurrying to church, even in the COVID-19 lockdown.

“China, one of the fastest developing countries in the world, has only one percent of its population as Christians. Others are people who don’t believe in God. Yet see how their country is developing.”

    1. Cynthy, I'm not only hurting and tired. Whenever I remember the situation of things, where we have come as a nation,
      Where we are now,
The rich minerals God gave Us
How we are I'll treated in and outside our country by other nationals/ nation's whom we were supposed to be better than.
The several hundreds of millions of money recovered so far from Abacha, yet there's little or nothing to show for it.
The ones not recovered and still being stacked away by our politicians...
I just 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭for my dear country.

  6. God is very much still in Nigeria, Kelvin if God is still with individual in Nigeria certainly he is very much still in Nigeria, if you want to talk about bad leadership say it without mincing words. When you remove the people in Nigeria oga Kelvin what will be left? Since you said God left Nigeria but still with individual, your words sorry to say lack wisdom.

  19. Bitter as it may sound its the truth. Its our individual prayers that is,still holding Nigeria, not that of so called pastors or Imams.

I lost confidence in Nigeria, years, back but as a Nigerian, God has got the back of my me and my family.

A country that has more churches than factories is a failed state.

  23. I understand his post and where he's coming from based on the reality in Nigeria today.
By the way, He got that quote from the Movie ' Tears of the sun' by Director Antoine Fuqua, starring Bruce Willis...A movie about the a U.S. Navy SEAL team rescue mission amidst the civil war in Nigeria.
You should watch the movie on Netflix and see how Igbos were massacred by the Federal Government.

  26. Of course He did
Cos your nation has its own god, and it's not the one true Almighty God Your God of naija is Spirit of Vanity

You lot worship vanity (clothes, shoes bags, car, you will do anything to make money not to ear but to indulge in vanity bullsh1t. Ive never met a group of people with greed for money and vanity. 90% beggers on ig are Nigerian scam beggers. They dont have food to eat but they buy android phone to do international scam. Begging with no shame

Kids killing family members just for money rituals. There's bad in every country but the ones in naija gives Lucifer the right to make Nigeria its headquarters.

And you are all fake Christians.
Another reason for gods curse is your arrogance. Even if you migrate to another AFRICAN COUNTRY To seek refuge cos obviously naija aint sh1t, you still manage to act pompous and arrogant to rhe citizens of that land and look down ob them, giant of Africa yet 60 yrs after independence and you aint got shit to show for. The afrucan nations you look down on and you feel your better than, yet yoy akwats seekibg greener pastures in those nations.

    God hates arrogance
Humble your self and serve God genuinely maybe God will take away the curse
