These Asians always overdo. It's why they are uptight with little sense of humour
ReplyDeleteIn this case, they’re actually doing things the right way.
DeleteIf you as a student know you will clean the toilet, you won’t mess it up and run away like many do here in Nigeria.
You won’t litter the walkway with your biscuit wrapper if you know you’ll end up sweeping it and if you learn as a child not to litter, you won’t do it as an adult.
I love the laws of some of these Asian countries, if they know they will be killed for any wrong, they will prefer to be in the right and in this case ๐ up here,if you know that you will flush the toilet, you won't have to mess it up.
DeleteI million likes
DeleteThe school in the picture above looks like a primary school, how can primary school children do all the cleaning? That is child labour. I'm not against children doing cleanups, they could clean their classrooms every morning and maybe do a 5 minute clean up after breaktime, but not having janitors is a stretch. About the toilet, the class assistant should go with any student that has to go and check if they cleaned up after themselves.
DeleteHow does this translate as "child labor"? What I see is an environment that is nurturing life skills at a stage where if maintained can become habits that are beneficial to the person and society. We should draw the line between right and wrong.believe me if some of us were taught that at a young age to be contented. We wouldn't have this "mass corruption Olympics" we are in
DeleteFabulous Onyx, we did this in our public schools in those days and this isn't child labour at all.
Deletewow bulb of life @ 1
ReplyDeleteReally? What a bulb
ReplyDeletebut little kids need to be watched over and can't do the cleaning
During the Nysc camp,we did cleaned our self, cooked our self too.
ReplyDeleteIt's NYSC camp, everyone there are adult, sso it is a good idea if they are asked to clean up after themselves.
DeleteIf you ever attended public primary school those days, pupils clean the toilets, cut the grass and sweep the environs especially when you come late. Not these days that the kids have become untouchable.
ReplyDelete@ Fact 2: What a way to instill discipline and sense of responsibility in children.
ReplyDeleteBulb of life
ReplyDeleteGood training for the kids,so they will appreciate when it's done for them. That bulb eh,bulb of life.
ReplyDeleteThe fire must not go out
ReplyDeleteFact 2...very good!
ReplyDeleteBut its the same in Nigeria na,we sweep our classrooms and clean our hostels in secondary and primary school.
ReplyDeleteFact one that bulb is awesome ๐
ReplyDeleteFact two charity which begins at home can also be learnt in schools๐
But from my nursery school to higher institutions level I have always sweep classroom, clean the and dark the black board and wash our school toilet I maybe cos I attend public school
