    Yes they should.
Making false rape allegations against an innocent man, makes it difficult for the real rape victims to be believed and get justice.

    1. False accusation of rape is also a rape against the dignity of the accused. Every false accuser must also serve a jail term.

  2. How was he convicted in the first place? What parameters, evidence or exhibit was used to convict him? I need to know before I make further statement.

    1. They used her testimony. They were dating too. There was no DNA at the time. He served the time, got out and then confronted her. She confessed. Her mum told her what to do and they also collected money from the city. Sadly, all she got was a fine. I teach that if people do this, their names and pictures should be exposed too. They could do this again.

    2. If i'm correct, this was a georgia case of a very brilliant straight A student black boy adopted by his white football coach. He was also a football star with several college scholarships awaiting him when another brilliant white girl who he dated briefly accused him of rape after they had consensual sex. The case was prosecuted as a statutiry rape case as the girl was slightly younger than the boy. At tgat tine in Georgia, statutory rape case carry a mandatory 10 year sentence uf fpund guilty. The boy pled not guilty because the sex was consensual but he lost and was sentenced to 10 uears in prison This was a big case which oprah winfrey took up the case. The white adopted father and brother were relentless in their pursuit of justice for him, other people who knew about the relationship cane out and the case was thrown out after the boy had served some years in jail not up to 6 years though, i think about 3 years, this also happened to another black boy in Georgia. They have thrown out the 10 year mandatory rape sentence for statutory rape in georgia after these 2 cases.

  3. Oh Yes
She should go to jail, she should be prosecuted for falsely accusation.
See how she ruined someone's life and this is my stand on every case of false accusation.
When it comes to rape we need to set our emotions aside so we can think rightly , a lot of people take advantage of the fact that the system is very empathic to rape victims so therefore we have to be very careful in passing judgement.
A lot of innocent lives has been ruined πŸ˜• πŸ˜” .
If you do the crime you better be set to do the time πŸ’― there should be heavy penalty for false accusation .

    2. But people always start cursing an accused even when they don't have facts tor know the people involved they say stuff like "see his rapist face" "castrate him" etc..

      Delete
    3. @anon I believe in fair hearing, I also believe that rape is very delicate and needs to be handled with uttermost professionalism ... I show empathy towards the victim I dont jump on the accused until there are facts and some sort of corroboration,
Death penalty and castration shouldnt be encouraged so innocent people don't lose their lives but i believe they should get a life sentence with hard labor .

      @Rainbow
@Isaac and @Bini yes o . If someone is devious enough to mount such allegation the person should be enough to do the time.

  4. Yes.
The trauma a victim of rape experience is almost same as being accused falsely of rape.

  5. She should be punished for such act so that others will learn a lesson from it... My opinion though..

  6. YES!

In the same vein, convicted rapists should be castrated.

How do you castrate a FEMALE rapist?

      Delete
    4. I don't support castration because not all convicted are guilty. Some were also wrongly accused. I recall a case like this. The man had even finished serving his sentence before he was found innocent. The lady called him for coffee and he recorded her confession. Imagine if he was castrated.

That's why I don't support death or castration for rapists because some are innocent and the effects are permanent.

    5. Castration shouldn't be encouraged just incase the accused is innocent .

  7. Yes, false accusers of rape should be jailed for telling lies, making mockery of real rape victims and cases and it would also deter those who wants to toll that direction.

    ReplyDelete
  8. YES!! They should be jailed. Rape is not something you should joke with.
These jokers are part of the reasons real rape victims are not taken seriously.

    Sluttychic.

  9. Yes, If you are evil enough to accuse someone of raping you when it didn't happen or was consensual, you deserve to go to prison for the number of years the punishment for rape carries.

So If the jail term for rape is 20 years, the liar should get 20 years as well.

    ReplyDelete
  10. They should. If the guy spends say 5 years in jail, and he's found innocent, she should be made to do the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Of course. I think people that accuse innocent people of rape are as demonic as the rape perpetrators themselves.

  12. Yes, they should be jailed.

False reporting of rape amounts to less than 10% of all rape accusations.

Every woman should be heard and taken seriously. Every alleged rapist should also be heard and taken seriously. The accusations and denials should be subjected to scrutiny and the truth should be carefully sought.

Most rape victims don’t report because of the fear of being labeled liars. Most commentators here have been raped at some point in their lives but most justify it as their fault. It’s never your fault for being raped.

    Stop condoning rape!

    1. Nobody is condoning rape. We can't deny that when we hear of rape, our first instinct is to castrate the alleged rapist. And please be honest with yourself, once someone you know is accused of rape and the accuser never come out and say otherwise, you'll always see that person as a rapist even if he isn't convicted for it. An allegation of rape is a very serious thing and damages an innocent man's reputation for years, especially when such a man is famous. A celebrity could lose endorsements and other gigs including acting roles. If Mark of Facebook were accused of rape, his net worth can fall from billions to millions in one day.

Rape is a very serious issue. So is a false allegation of rape.

  14. Definitely!!
They should serve a longer time than the accused.

  15. Consensual sex is another hot topic. When the relationship goes sour, or there is a break-up, Sex that was previously consensual will automatically be non-consensual. Then transform to be rape.
Lol. So Everyone should just keep away from sex until marriage.

    2. You said the truth!! An act of wickedness.
Even those that didn't get paid enough for "sexvices" rendered will claim they were raped.

    4. True. It annoys me when a lady cries rape or domestic violence just because the man is no longer interested in her or she discovers she read more into the relationship than he did.

Women like this are the reason why rape victims are not taken seriously.

  16. Yes they should, this is someone life
that is involved. they should be jail
to serve as a deterrent to others.

  17. Yes! While the rapist should be castrated

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yes.

She should be jailed. A woman can't just wake up and plan to destroy someone's life and feel saying sorry after years in prison will make things right. This will make libel on innocent people difficult.

This is why saying men who are convicted of rape should be castrated won't work cos an innocent man would have lost his "kinikan" before the actual truth if his innocence will come to light.

The real rapist should be jailed though.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yes o..you cant cause another trauma and go Scott free.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think there is a movie on this issue, can’t remember the name now.
There is no question - yes, false accusers should be punished. I am not sure about jail time though, I guess that depends on the law. I don’t think libel attracts jail time, but fine/compensation for the offender, I guess same would apply to one who make a false rape accusation.

  21. Yes! These people are wicked and make it difficult for the real rape victims.

A lady in the UK was jailed today for claiming that she was raped by Asian taxi drivers. They reviewed the dash cam footage and found she had lied. Despite ruining their reputations and work prospects, she tried to avoid jail by apologising to the men after she was confronted with the evidence.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yes I support they face jail term cos I have brothers and male children too and would not want them to be falsely accused falsely cos it’s just as good as they were also raped

    ReplyDelete
  23. YES! Rape victims go through actual Trauma. So you don't get to lie about something so traumatic and horrific and go free while attempting to ruin an innocent person. Yes! Send them to jail!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes with hard labor

    ReplyDelete
  25. False accusers should be punished to almost equal extent as rapists, they have also raped innocent people of their lives, integrity and well-being.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Of course. If you can lie against someone just to ruin their lives...you should rot in jail and that should serve as a deterrent to others that want to tow the same path.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes, how can you cause someone such pain and go unpunished? No, it's not right

  30. They should be jailed but before then, the police should sure they look into the case very well so they will be sure it’s not a false accusation oh ... Rape cases should be handle with double care

    ReplyDelete
  31. I watch the movie, it was a true life story. I cried for the guy and I loved that he didn't give up on his dream.

As for those that falsely accused others of rape, there should be a punishment for them. At least 5-10years imprisonment.

    ReplyDelete
  32. She should the given half the sentence of the rape, because
    1. It has caused the lufe of the accused to be ruined
    2. It violates and created doubts of actual rape victims
    3. That is vital to ensure it does not repeat itself.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes they should be jailed, even the Bible condemns false accusations.....

    ReplyDelete
  34. False accuser of rape should carry a steeper sentence IMO. This would ensure that only people who have valid claims would step forward.

    ReplyDelete
  35. A big YES!! I am a woman and accusing someone of something so grievous falsely is a sin. It takes away from those that truly had Such traumatic Experiences not to talk of what it does to the accused. A big YES for me!!!
