Mustapha, who is the chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, explained that the measure would allow the graduating students resume and prepare for their final examinations.
He disclosed this during the taskforce daily briefing in Abuja, on Monday.
According to Mustapha: “Safe reopening of schools to allow students in graduating classes resume in-person in preparation for examinations.

ReplyDeleteIt's a nice one.
ReplyDeleteIt is well, parents please get sanitizer and nose masks for them
ReplyDeleteGod will protect them. Amen
That's a good one. They should give the rest automatic promotion and allow them resume in September.
ReplyDeleteFinal year university students aren't on the resumption plan.
ReplyDeleteIt covers for only students in Primary 6, JS 3 and SS 3. I don't know why university students are not being put into consideration.
ReplyDeleteI guess ASSU is not cooperating.
DeleteThey should keep the children out of this.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too comfortable with the opening. I know it can't remain locked forever but still!!!
NICE ONE
ReplyDeletewhat about undergraduates? eh... they can't teach online but they don't want us back in school as well.. me I'm tired!!!
ReplyDeletethat's good what about inter state, are they not saying anything about it.
ReplyDeleteThe ban for interstate has been lifted partially. Abeg everything should normalise naw.
DeleteInterstate travel has been lifted from 4.00am to 10pm. They should consider jambites too
DeleteYea, but just few classes..
ReplyDeleteMe am not comfortable with dis idea ooo.....corona virus is real !!!!.....very much really!!but May God keep our children safe 4 US...but dis is not a good idea
ReplyDeleteNothing cheery about the news. Covid 19 is still very much out there. No vaccine yet. No one can negotiate with the virus. Lockdown relaxation will not make it go away. May even worsen the situation.
ReplyDeleteWe only pray and hope for divine intervention.
Yeah I agree with you,in as much as this might sound nice, there are disadvantages. For instance, we have students in Lagos who live in Berger, and will have to transport themselves to their school located at Ikeja.Such students will be exposed as nobody can tell who has covid in the commercial bus that would be boarded or whatever means of transportation will be used. May God protect our children.
Deletehow about master's student that are only using a year?
ReplyDeleteI don’t like this idea at alllllllllll
