STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
THE BLOOD OATH

Stella, thank you for what you have been doing.

My story goes like this: I had a blood covenant with my ex,we were so young then in secondary school I am 28 years old now my ex is 30 I had it at the age of 14.

My family were against us being together because we were so young, after some years I went to college. we went our separate ways but we still keep in touch we knew what goes on in our lives; he had two relationships which did not end well and the lady got married to a policeman; his life was shattered because the were still together when she got married.

I on the other hand was enjoying my relationship but it ended too because of trust issues ,note he is married now.I met a man called Friday and I told him everything about me from my anger issues to my blood covenant we were together for 1 year and eleven months in-between he proposed and I said yes until one day I went to search for his name on Facebook and I saw a post he made about his fiance having a blood covenant with her ex....

he was seeking for advice I was so angry with him so I confronted him on WhatsApp because he is in another state.he was trying to tell me that he had no reasons for doing that and he is not afraid of me if he has issues with that he will tell me I was not convinced I was hurt, this is someone I loved and trusted and never thought he could do this I just told him am tired and done!

He was not remorseful of what he did he was just telling me to calm down that I should not panic,I just called him and told him how he cheated on me and and how I wasted my two years with him not knowing he was like that and I ended the call,he later called I did not pick, in the morning he called I was asleep as I cried throughout the night and he sent me a message that he called I did not pick he just wanted to confirm what I said I did not reply after some days I called him he picked I wànted a conversation to know why he did that knowing how far we have gone he was not supposed to do that but rather talk to me about it.

he was giving me attitude I just told him sorry for talking to him that way and I apologized I called again he did not pick my call.i contacted his friend, the friend said he told him we were not together I having been trying to talk to him to no avail. Please bvs I need your candid advice. Stella your red pen is needed please.

*You have been trying to talk to him concerning what? The blood oath has been activated once again,so please move on,the Marriage will not hold...
Go and break the oath you took please.
I have a friend whose life was ruined by this thing,it hurts me to even talk about it now but she was ruined totally....never married or had a child, first class University material but could not graduate..its a long story.

    1. If you are 28 which means you were born in 1992/3. You were not born in the medieval era so you must have at least heard about the consequences of oaths and blood oaths are nearly unbreakable because it tempers with your consciousness and mind keep building an error output which becomes your reality.

If you ask me I would counsel against going to any church in search of deliverance as many here wouldn't advice. I will counsel mind renewal. You need to meditate, go into yourself and agree with yourself that there was no binding oath! Refuse to see it as active or having any effect on any aspect of your life. When you have failures and set backs, let that be the last thing on your mind you can blame it on. Don't forget all of us without blood oaths have setbacks and failures. Just create a beautiful picture for yourself and focused that you are God's own project. Your existence is purely for his pleasure and only the things that pleases him will happen to you irrespective of any oath.

Smile and let this be the last time you make reference to any oath.

He should be the one begging you for forgiveness. Imagine the nonsense.
Also, that blood nonsense, bury it and forget it never tell anyone ever again.
You were weak, which was why you took the oath, and that's why you still dey get issues till now. Cos you're still weak.
It only affects you if you give it space to.
Stop calling your ex, he isnt worth it, worse , if you get back with him, just know you're the side chick oo or pastime. Dont say I didnt tell you.

    1. BB nnem, exactly! We are emotional about everything. We will blame every woe on it meanwhile a carefree man do move on and dismissed rubbish and ingredients from his mind tey tey. Next she will start running from one church to the other and pastors love her kind ehn.

As a man thinketh in his mind, so is he!

    2. So people are still doing this.

    3. BB you have spoken well, this simply means that most times people just overburden themselves with what's not.
If truly the oath is legit then it should tie both parties down and make them never to get married to another apart from the oath takers themselves.

    3. @Lyndy, it's not superstition o. You don't joke with such things, they are highly demonic as it draws evil spirits to the culprits. Some get away with it if their foundation is not polluted.

    4. Its superstition. For you to do a blood oat, you have to be a little stewpeed and very gullible.
People hardly change, so these characters will usually follow you into adulthood

      Delete
    5. You had oath with another person hence it was broken. If it was only one person you for no dey in the mood to talk wetin you dey talk. Oath is powerful. As for the poster, seems like the oath is working already. This your in and out relationships. Please find that guy and break it. Don't listen to the bvs telling you it doesn't matter o. Don't find yourself over 40 unmarried and then begin to blame your village people or your friends. DO THE RIGHT THING PLEASE. Stella is right!

    6. @17:04, I agree. It's usually gullible teenagers who allowed love becloud them that did that blood thingy. Those attitudes still manifest in adulthood. Think back to those who were already ambitious, hardworking and goal-getters from teenage. Today they are successful or running a company. (eg Genevieve was a single Mum at 18, one of many single Mums but didn't let self pity or her past take over. She hustled for auditions and so on and today is a success). Upbringing, character and determination matters a lot. Besides, Nigeria is a country where so many are struggling, so its very easy to look for what to blame for the lack of success. But the country by default isn't set up for many to be successful. Pastors use people like this to make money.

  11. Poster please go and break that blood covenant with whoever you did it with as it is speaking against you..You getting angry with your man does not hold water as nobody wants to die or inherit wahala from the repercussions of blood oaths (remember he is someone's son and brother) it is not a bragging right..Since you and your secondary school sweetheart were no longer together, the first thing was to break that covenant immediately thereby severing the ties and you both move on with your lives. Please do this immediately and accept Jesus as your lord and saviour.

When next you meet another man, don't mention any thing about you and someone having a blood covenant, you are now a new creature..E no heavy you for mouth when you dey tell that guy! Please there are certain things that should be left unsaid..Pray for wisdom..All the best

  12. This blood oath thingy is one of the hardest covenant to break. Better start making enquiries on servants of God who are equipped to do it, because believe me, your prayers no fit carry am. And your ex must be a willing partner before it can be broken.

    1. See them☝️. That her prayer can not carry it. Awon prophet seekers, solution seekers. Jesus died for MOGs and not for her. Where do you people get these self-imposed limitations from and you seek to impose it on others?

Poster no look for any MOG o. They will suck you dry of what is left. Those pastors thrive off situations like this magnifying an ant mole to a mountain. Pray and agree by yourself and move on.

  16. I thought you were the one who broke up with him first?
    What’s with the drama?

It was your decision to take a blood oath, and I think it is also his decision to feel some kind of way about marrying someone that did, It is not your place to tell him how to deal with those feelings.

The wrong I see him do here was not being upfront with you about his reservations regarding the oath.

Go and solve your problem madam, and leave him alone if he doesn’t want again. Maybe it’s best you look out for people that don’t believe in stuff like that to be in a relationship with.

  17. What about oath of saying you will never love someone like your ex but have fallen in love countless times but never able to sustain a relationship, could it be as a result of the oath?if yes, what's the solution?but I refuse to believe that because am a Christian and I have prayed against that countless times

    ReplyDelete
  18. Blood oath at 14? You both were young and didn't know what you were doing. You need to speak to your ex so that you'll find a way to break whatever is holding you bound. As for your fiance, his fears are valid just that he didn't go about it the right way. But you weren't picking his calls earlier nau,why are you panicking cos he's not picking yours the truth is your relationship now has trust issues and it's better you let go to clear your head and break that covenant before going into a relationship again

  22. I pity anyone that indulge in blood oath... Most times, it doesn't end well... It's better to avoid it totally no matter the pressure...

Two ladies I know that partook in blood oath did not end well. One died childless when she left the guy and got married and the other lady became a mentally challenged case...

Poster, look for your ex lover and break the blood oath and soul tie... Renounce every curses and calamity attached to it...

  26. Why are women allegedly the only ones affected by blood oaths? I don't believe in it.

The women you all think were affected by blood oaths simply experienced the (negative) part of life. There are a lot of women who are childless or never married and they didn't partake in any blood oaths.

Truth be told, more women than men are likely to go through life without ever getting married or having kids because the number of women ready for a commitment at any given time are usually more than the men willing to be in committed relationships. That's why the women you think were affected by blood oaths are childless and/or unmarried while the men are most often not. A lazy and/or poor man will still meet a woman who would overlook his poverty or laziness just so she can get married and have kids. I know poor guys that women have FOUGHT over.

Thank you jare. Apart from that, the pool of eligible men is reducing by the day. Many young Nig men are fleeing the country. Our men are scattered worldwide from USA to Dubai to even Gambia, Nig men are there, making the pool even smaller. That's why I encourage women to work towards success. There's a confidence and satisfaction success & exposure brings. If you spend single years fighting or worrying over men, in mid-age pastors will use you for cash cow. Change what you can and accept what you cannot change. Life is not perfect, everyone has their cross.

If you like go on and tell the next guy how you took an oath!!!! Some things are better left unsaid while you take it to God in prayer.
Tomorrow any little thing that happens your spouse will blame it on your oath, did you think he told you everything that has happened in his past life? Be wise, you need to reach a level of understanding (years doesn't count as level of understanding) with a person before you can tell them things.
Poster even if that guy accepts you back, just know any negative thing that happens in your lives he will relate to the oath, are you ready to live that type of life? I will advise you to move on and control your mouth in future.

  34. Please do not jump into another bondage by going to an agent of Satan to "break and oath.'
Isaiah 14:17 Satan does not allow his captives go free.
You played into his hands when you tasted blood in that oath against God's injunction Lev. 19:26 that you shall
not eat any blood (also Acts. 15:29).
Now understand that Jesus has secured your freedom with his own blood.(John 3:16, Acts 20:28)
Just call upon Jesus in your own words today and ask him to take away this reproach of Satan in your life
and come into your life and be your savior and you will see what happens. Then begin to study his word daily.
You have eternal life and he will bless you with his will. Jesus rules. 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️

Both of you should give your lives to Christ, come together and renounce yourselves from the oath and its consequences before God and man using the superior blood of Jesus and the name of Jesus. Have faith and move on with your lives and learn to keep quiet about it unless absolutely necessary.
