    2. There are days I miss being single not because I'm not happy in my marriage or not married to the right person or.......

For instance, when I was single, if I miss my mum, I just pick up my bag and get on the next flight to her location. There are also days I wake up and don't feel like cooking or doing anything. There are also days I stay on bed till whatever time I like.

Now before I travel, I will first think of where to dump my squad or if I will travel with them, I can't even sleep well without someone coming to knock my door.

Some people will still come and say no on this post. Make una no lie.

    3. I'm not married but I understand the stress part very well. Sometimes I feel like like going on a vacation without my daughter, just me, myself and I.

    4. My husband is wonderful that at times i wonder what in heaven's name i ever did to deserve him. Man worships the ground I walk on but truth is eh I miss being single at-times...2 weeks ago I went to see my family, all of us were present including my other married sibling, we all gisted just like we used to before marriage, we gossiped as usual 😂 abeg gisting is sweeter face to face than on phone, even my mom wanted us to sleep over..kai I sometimes miss my single days make I no lie, freedom to do whatever you want without discussing it

    4. So others saying yes are not happy where they are or they didn't pray for where they are?

Miss being single doesn't mean one is not happy with where they are presently or the marriage is a bad one.

      Delete
  9. Sure. That me time. Sometimes you want to be alone or do stuff that need not explaining to your other partner. Sometimes, you would want to come back late for the sake of it without anyone calling you repeatedly to come home or they are scared of being alone. Or using the calls to monitor you while hiding under caring for your safety. Sure.

  10. Anything is possible especially when you are not happy in that relationship or marriage you will miss singlehood.

  18. Hmm, I have a good husband, but once he got me angry small like this, I will yabb him ,curse his mama and papa, abuse him very well, and he will also react, but he will be quick to beg me, this has been going on for 12 years, I need help, I think he's putting me in captive, though I'm a graduate, but no job,I think I'm sad about my joblessness and I'm blaming him

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Plz stop insulting his parents. It's wrong. Why don't you try applying for jobs? There are a lot of job search groups you can join. However frustrated or angry you are, insulting his parents is a NONo

      Delete
    2. Naaaaa. Insulting his parents is a NO NO. Haba! They are not the cause of your joblessness na. You think he's putting you in captive, how? Did he tell you to quit your job? Has he hindered you from getting a job? Please, get rid of whatever bitterness and resentment you have towards him. It's NOT healthy.

      Delete
    3. You insult his parents? No wonder you're jobless

    4. I really hate this sort of attitude. Please pour out your frustration on your hubby and leave his poor parents out of It. You will grow old one day, respect his parents.

  19. Never.
I have had over a decade of marital bliss, no quarrels.
We complements each other and I do not wish I ever married another.
The Lord makes all things beautiful in his time.
I quiet empathize with all those ladies that do no have it as good as
I do. But if you ever miss being single,
you are either in the wrong
    boat or
you married for something (money, "abroad," fame etc.) that is
    not love or
you were joined together by someone else ("pastor," parent, or relatives), not God or,
You are not in Christ, thus not working out the beauty in what God has given you. Yes,
godly marriages involve a lot of work and sacrifice just like Christ and the Church.

I am not saying you have to agree with me. But I speak from the Scriptures I know
and from the experiences I have had. 😘 let me 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️
    in peace.

    2. Eversince You grew into an adult, Do you sometimes miss being a Child?

Now would You say that I should never miss being a child cos I became the wrong adult.
Apparently, I could miss being a child (especially if I was one that always got pampered) because of some of the advantages I had as a Kid, and not necessary because I'm in the wrong adult boat.

It shouldn't always be about negativity. Thankwiu

I sometimes miss those days when I say to my boyfriends, "got to hell, I no do again". You're stuck even when you want to say that to the husband when he drives you crazy....

I can't even poo in peace cos its family poking time... The children will flood the bathroom even at bath times...

I'm grateful for the gift of being a wife and a mother but, sometimes, I just want to run away....lol

Seriously I've been thinking , I think I will carry money lodge in a hotel just for 8 hours switch off phone throw away my bag ,just to have a wonderful peaceful alone time . Return home and tell them hubby and kids how one chance people got me and almost finish me off after robbery... But sha I must ' make believe ' the after effects makeup of fake bruises, that kind we watch on nollywood movies...

  30. I have been married for 12 years but I miss being single sometimes. You know that feeling of having your own personal space. Like a bv up there, I hide in the toilet under the guise of pooping so my kids will let me breathe. I miss going out with my girlfriends and yes, actual dates with my hubby that will focus on us!

  34. One of my aunties that i lived with, used to say those days how she wished she could leave her house and visit some people's houses for holiday. And i will say in my mind that, she doesn't value what she had. This is a woman that has a caring husband,a beautiful home with friends anf family that loves her. Years later,i understood what she meant by those words. Sometimes in our lives, we all need a Me time and space.

  35. This is why I don't like posts like this. Some people feel everyone must have the same answer and if your answer is different from their own, is either you are lying or you are a hypocrite. Just because you miss being single at times doesn't mean all married women must feel the same way. Are you aware that some girls had a very miserable upbringing? Are you aware that some girls saw marriage as an escape from an overbearing family?
So because someone doesn't miss being single it automatically means she is claiming that her marriage is better than those of you who miss being single? Why not own your issues without wanting everybody to be in your WhatsApp group? Not every woman enjoyed freedom when she was single. Not every woman grooved or had fun when she was single so not everyone missed that phase. Some of you miss being single because of your miserable marriages while some of you miss being single for other reasons. How will you feel if one of the miserable married women starts claiming that those of you who miss being single are in miserable marriages too? You see? Not everyone has a similar story. Allow people answer the way they want to, stop assuming everybody is like you.
