  4. The lorry is better. Some parts like the wheel metal is still recoverable.
Think of humans, from dust you came and
to dust you return. EVerything becomes dust.
The soul (that did not live in Christ), ends in crises -hell -where
the worms do not die and the fire is
    not quenched!Mark 9:48.
    It is a double tragedy!

  5. And let me tell my co-ladies, be kind to
your maid. Do not abuse her because she
    is "powerless."
As long as that girl is helping you
prepare your food, take care of your kids, she is the most powerful human in that house. She can render you worse than that bus there in one
swoop. Your kids are the most vulnerable you!
I say this based on what I had seen in families.
And if you do not have Jesus in your life, you are a walking dead (1 Tim. 5:6).
I hope I've made my points?

    1. Let me drop mine here. It doesnt always go like that, this life no balance.

Sometimes one would life a good life and still have no one to watch out for him when he is old. In our youth, we really need yo draw close to God to perfect our life.

    Never !
That Lorry could have aged gracefully if it was well taken care of, from the start.

  9. Will some people care or learn? She was a big girl and manager at a leading multinational with the world in her pocket. She also appeared regularly in celebrity magazines. She is known for her arrogance, pride and bossy nature. He was just an illiterate low level driver attached to her. He was late to work and she didn't care to know why. All he heard was a resounding slap on his face. "Madam, what did I do that will make you slap me?" She saucily went but went on to fire him same day. But just before he left, he spoke a word to her in tears. Today, all and sundry has abandoned her, as she ... Life has a way of humbling people. Be very careful how you treat others, nothing goes for nothing.

  10. True talk, most people blank out that inevitable aspect of life. It won't be a bad idea if the African narrative of elderly parents depending on their children for 100% care begin to change from us. It's not a day job, it will take a decisive effort and time to put money & investments away for the future and given the financial strains many are passing through, it might look almost impossible but we have to try. When that time comes, won't it be cool if what our kids bring when they visit or send are simply 'icing on the cake', no pressures. Do you know that a lot of children actually avoid their elderly parents because of the financial stress of needing to meet their every needs. Every call is to make a demand on a child who is also probably trying to meet critical needs within his/her immediate family, so calls are avoided even when the intention of the parents is to just hear their child's voice.

I am not there yet, but it's a life style I am planning for. It will make it easier for children to keep in torch and make their visits more often. It is that companionship and love that will be key then. Above all may we have a great relationship with God, great health in our old age, peace and all the basic needs of life. With long life will God satisfy us and show us His salvation in Jesus Christ name(amen).
