Warri School Girl In Viral Video Says Monetary Promises Made To Her Family Was Fake..

Eight-year-old Success Adegor, who grabbed the headlines last year, over her outspoken character, has revealed that all the promises of help made to her and her family were never fulfilled.

Success had been in the spotlight last year when she was filmed by a neighbour complaining about being sent home from school because of unpaid fees.

Her stubborn stance in the video had earned her both the admiration of the public and offers of help.

In a new video, which surfaced on social media, Success in her usual forthright manner said that the promises didn’t materialise.

Speaking in Pidgin English, Success said, “No, Everything na fake,” when asked if the monies she was promised had been received.

She said, “Everything na fake. Dem just come our house, come promise us heaven and earth… post am for Facebook, say make everybody think say we don rich. Everything na fake.

“Dem no give my daddy any job, my daddy still dey ride Okada. My mummy sef ehn, the job wey dem give my mummy sef, dem no dey pay am. Dey go just tell am say her name never dey for paper, give am N10000, make she take hold hand. Wich kain yeye tin be dat?

*So what about the one million naira cash gifts they got?is that one not OK to change their lives? This family seems to have entitlement mentality..what a pity!!!

    2. I'm sure the parents encouraged her to say this rubbish, self entitled mentality is indeed a disease

    3. Based on what I read, the parents suddenly saw the need to do a wedding. What happened to going to the registry quietly and doing something tangible with the funds they got?

For them to even allow her do a second video is appaling and shameless. Her state govt should give her a scholarship just so she can get an education. Any other thing is your parents responsibility, let them go and hustle.

There are a lot of kids like Success who have dropped out of school, hawking and have no one to help them so ditch the entitlement mentality. Nigerians don't owe you shit.

    4. BnR the girl is a typical sapele raised child. Their parents discuss everything in their presence and also use them to beg relatives and friends by coaching them on what to say.

      I'm not surprised at all.

  11. I watched the video ...she sounded so ungrateful and entitled. ... someone should tell her to tell her father to work hard.nobody owes anybody anything in life

When the story first broke. The money they got her parents used it to do wedding ceremony. How is wedding ceremony a priority. I knew any money received will end up to no good

At least her father was smart enough to buy Okada... that Okada he is riding is some money coming in

    1. You mean they had already gotten cash before and wedding was their first priority? SMH

In their mind they had seen free money. That's what happens when people don't sweat for money.

They should teach the girl some manners while at it.

  12. The entitlement mentality of most Nigerians especially from the poor one's is outrageous. Imagine Tutsy on Twitter raised over a million for them, that's the one we know, the little girl enrolled in Sch, they got nothing yet went ahead to do white wedding, now they have sent her out again claiming they got nothing, now there is a backlash. Nobody owes you nothing. 🦋

  13. My twin and I talked about this yday. She's waaay too young to have this kind of self entitlement mentality. They promise, they don't fulfil, then MOVE ON. I blame her parents for this behaviour.

  14. They should stop giving them attention, well anyways from what she just said, nobody will help.
Success is being influenced badly by her parents, I listened to her, you need to hear what she was saying, very very rude.
Her parents lavished the money on wedding and showing off to people that they have arrived.
It was very wrong to have given them a dime, they would have empowered her parents with skills, let them learn the normal way and make their money with their sweat only then they will know how to control money.
Money controlled them, success is an innocent kid and if care is not taking, she might derail.
Your papa and mama no put money for people hand, go and learn from aunty success and Emmanuella, smart kids that channel theirs to making money.

Even us then in Naija, we will expect our relative who visited to give us pocket money as they leaving. Where did this thinking come from? We need to stop the next gen from thinking like this.

  17. She said they didnt get anything, maybe the 1mily was audio too.
Lil girl should learn to be respectful, that 10k job alot of people need it

  18. Her parents should stop using this girl to beg for money. They should go and work, no one owes anyone anything.

So the one they got, na wedding be their problem! Clear money miss road.

They need to do a better job on this girl, she's not polite at all. Na wah!

  19. A wedding is not a priority if you are in financial pains. Go secure your shelter and start a little business.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Mr Jollof came out with receipts of help rendered and said her mother stopped picking his calls as soon as "big people" started talking with her,so he kept off. Now they're sending the girl to come and do her "job" again. This time, dem go really flog you tire. Stupid entitlement mentality.

  23. This girl is just a child and doesn't understand Most of the things she is saying.
The blame is on her parents that were reckless with the money they received.

My take is that she is intelligent and those privileged should help her channel it well. She can still be molded to become great.

They can feature her in movies and skits, make sure the proceeds are put into a trust fund for her education, and not given to her parents, because they will lavish the monies.

    ReplyDelete
  24. See entitlement.
With this type of outburst,no one will like to help again.

  29. All I can say is "shame" to that child's parents for not teaching her good morals. Anyways, I don't blame them completely, what do we expect when her initial rude behavior towards her teachers and school authority as a whole earned her the "celebrity" title, monetary gifts, scholarship and more promises, is it not expected that they'll send her out again for more attention? When that her first "dem go flog tire" video went viral, I personally didn't see anything worth celebrating in that kind of nasty behavior from such a young child. Now is it not funny that the same "WE" who found her initial behavior funny are now frowning at her present entitlement mentality, when we already made she and her family believe that it pays to be rude?

  30. The family is ungrateful and feel so entire. Nobody owes you and your family nithing. They must have said all these and more infront this brat for her to come and say it's audio help.

    ReplyDelete
  31. No one will answer her this time. The first video was candid, this time it's pure greed.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The child's parents are shameless, when they couldn't even give Stephanie who interviewed success a dime after the video went viral,I knew they were selfish,it was Pastor Jeremiah that gave the lady money, now they sent their child out again,if they like they shouldn't teach their child good morals, she sounded so rude and ungrateful in the video,ur papa even get Okada, some people papa no get source of income, they do menial jobs to sustain their families.

  33. I think anytime people want to give all these people it's better a go fund me account is opened for them which is linked to a bank trust were a certain amount is paid to them every month. Because these people are illiterate thus lack the management skill to handle such bulk money. What have you noticed with break out stars. They most times go back to being broke because they lack management skill.
Though for this Success case, na you sabi if you want contribute for them again. The child is rude and very entitled

    ReplyDelete
  34. Not surprised. I knew the parents would waste what they were given. What was the first thing they did with money? Was it not a wedding?
You guys shouldn't blame Success. It's not her fault she had the kind of parents.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Why will they even think of wedding, na wah o

    ReplyDelete
  36. At least you were given something! Some may have promised and didn't fulfil but what did your parents use the ones you were given for? A damn wedding. They should have made better use!

Your parents failed you baby girl.
