  1. I lost my feminine voice I now have deep agbero voice, bigger feet, kangaroo pouch, n hairy. I'm saving for a mommy makeover anyway, but the voice gets people attention, when I talk, people turn their heads n listen, shocked that such a fine face can be booming, hahahaha, if now made my boss put me in charge of addressing every client at meetings, opening speeches everywhere.

    2. I thought I was the only one whose voice changed after birth. I just assumed it was from endlessly screaming at the kids when they are rough, which is always.

  8. I know it's not popular opinion I'm about to share but all this is scary!
Deeper voice, thinner hair, memory loss, bigger feet?! I'm a size 43 on my feet already!

Where's the joy in all this? Oh God, I'll do a makeover after childbirth. Isn't it sad? The body is never quite the same again? I'm scared, it's exasperating seeing women act like it's all cool and it brings them immeasurable joy. I don't understand and I don't like it.

Is there no positive physical change? 😒

    1. Elizabeth, you no find poking, that Na why you de para yearn.

    2. @ Elizabeth, your second paragraph, they act that way cos they don't want to be seen as bad mothers, you know our society na. Same reason they keep quiet about post-natal depression and other stuff.
God help women. It ain't easy bringing life into the world.

    3. The joy is in the little things of life...

      1. We went to the war front, came back alive with our bundle of joy(some never made it back, others lost their bundle of joy)

      2. They eat, play, talk and function properly without any health issues

      3. We see ourselves as part of creation (they are our mini-me's)

All the thinning edges, baritone voice, expanded waistline, stretch marks, etc will change over time when we take adequate care of our bodies.

As for forgetfulness, it will also change to a normal routine when we are less tired and can get a helping hand so as to rest properly.

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of life, a happy home and a healthy family.

Awww @ ElizabethBathory, πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—. Sometimes motherhood can become overwhelming and you may question certain things about it such as why you decided to embark on it in the first place. It is πŸ’― understandable and only makes you human. Reason why some women vow never to go through it so decide not to have children. On the other hand, it also comes with joys and positivity especially when you look at your kiddos. You’ll eventually find yourself with time. God bless ya.

    1. Anonymous 13:16, you'll be fine. It's just 3weeks, enjoy every moment with your baby: they grow really quick and once that phase is missed, it's missed. So please enjoy the experience

This happened to me too, i don't put on weight after childbirth, matter of fact i loose weight.

After my last child, i lost so much weight, then i started eating every thing in sight and eating late night, i wake up to eat, my mouth was always moving.

Trust me i added weight, i totally loved it but the trouble was my stomach, it got biggerπŸ˜‚
