The bullying, verbal and emotional abuse as well as victimization should stop❗
Most people/employees go through a lot in their personal/family lives.
Some are depressed and on the brink of ending it all - by just a little shove.
Look out for people especially the junior staff and contract.
People are going through TOUGH TIMES!
A little kindness, a smile, a kind word, a gift (groceries , a tip, a chat, transport fare and even unused items you can give out).
Don't just drive out of your office or Estate in your big, flashy care. Stop by and show a little kindness to your security men.
BE KIND. IT HEALS!🌍 🙏💞

ReplyDeleteI hope I’m not missing the point. And, I’m glad he got the job. But, a more serious candidate would have asked his wife to go for a walk with the kids. Sit outside in the garden. Anything to avoid losing this job interview to someone else after 3 years of searching. He’s lucky he got a compassionate interviewer.
ReplyDeleteWhat if it was raining or snowing,what if it was an impromptu interview without notice,what if the interview was at night,what if they lived in an unsafe neighborhood? There are so many questions we dont have the answer to. Pick the lesson of the story.

ReplyDeleteCouldn't the wife have stepped out with the kids even for a walk during the time of this interview to avoid the kids making noise? I'm sorry but I think that's careless on their part. What if the interviewer didn't register his displeasure which gave him the opportunity to explain himself. He sure would have lost that opportunity I guess. Unless there is another explanation, to me, the man is just careless and didn't take the interview serious as he should have.
That is why you are a Nigerian and without human sympathy.
