STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
SUDDENLY IMPOTENT HUSBAND

Stella pls help me to post this.I had my twins on April 2016 though
lost one of them.I have been trying to conceive again but no way....

Hubby and i have spent a lot to places but no good result. The last hospital
we went according to the lab.result said hubby's sperm count is 0% and
we have infection (staphylococcus aureus).

After taking some medications for 6 months,no good result. But is it possible for a man thas has a child to be impotent?I've known hubby for 7yrs before 2016 and I Can boldly say no cheating from both sides.

Is there any BVs who can direct me to a good gynaecologist in Anambra(Nnewi south precisely)?Pls,i don't sleep any longer.Thank you BVs as am reading your comments.

huh?How can your hubby be impotent and he got you pregnant?..None of you has ever cheated? How did you get Staph?Cos that is a s#xually transmitted disease!!
I am so sorry but i dont understand this your chronicle at all...

    1. Staph is NOT sexually transmitted.
      That's probably a contamination.
Poster make time and go to NAUTH.
      Leave Staph doctors alone.

    2. From your narative poster, your husband isn't impotent (wrong term here, about him no dey do?), but might be infertile.
In which case you need visit a proper gynae and re-run your tests.

    3. My husband had a child outside before we got married. After trying for some months, we went for a test, his sperm count was 10%. They also said we had staphylococcus infection. We treated and prayed. We took in like 8months after. It's possible that things like this happens. We are exposed to a lot of toxins everyday and these things affect us

    1. Dear poster, if you don't mind, I have a very good gynae in Port Harcourt and he is very affordable too. If you would like to give it a trial, please contact me through stella and I will link you up.
Secondly, staph can live in a man for years, and continue to eat up his sperm cells until there's nothing left... I know someone who had a child in 2004, but today has 0% active sperm cells, just because he left his staph untreated for so long.
Finally, always, always speak for yourself because you don't follow your husband everywhere he goes.

    2. Why are we sounding like it's impossible for a husband to be faithful? It is very possible and if your husband is not a cheat, you will know.
I think the ratio of unfaithful women is equal the ratio of faithful men. I mean, just as you have less women who cheat so do you have less men who are faithful. So, there are faithful husbands.

  5. Madam poster sorry oh but you never talk true, how come he suddenly becomes impotent then with sti too? Plenty question marks dey this your chronicle abeg!

  6. Please, Staphylococus aureus can also be transmitted due to unhygienic vaginal colonization by the organism. Use your google or ask any doctor. So dear, improve on your vaginal hygiene and let the doctors treat the present one.
if your husband is drinks alcohol, smokes etc. he can have low/dysfunctional sperm counts and morphologies.
Go to Unizik teaching hospital and see the gynae dept.
I know a lot of people here won't believe that you both do not cheat.
There is what is called "idopathic" (search it)..
But let me tell us a brand news; the
spiritual controls the physical. What is "unknown" to medical science is known to God..."An enemy has done that".
The spiritual angle you need to take while you seek the doctors, is to seek God, in fasting and prayers together with your husband. Jesus said in Matt. 9:12 that
the sick needs a doctor. But except the Lord builds the house, the laborers labor in vain.
Don't, please don't go to the agents of Satan or those masquerading as agents of God to seek for solution.
    Good wishes.

    1. Thank you very much. This is a very sound advice. Poster please take this advice.
I wonder why people think staph is only a sexually transmitted disease/infection. FYI stap can be gotten from sharing towel, roll on, infected surfaces etc.

  7. Maybe, he became impotent after the first baby or there's an error with the lab test. He might have taken some thing(s) that tampered with his system.

Oh well! I am not sure all STIs/STDs are gotten through sex alone.

Could be as a result of using public toilet as well... "Maybe"!

Errmm.. madam voucher, how can you be so sure he never cheated?

Don't forget some men are very good at covering their acts.

  15. Staphylococcus Aureus isn’t an STD!!! *facepalm*. It is part of the normal bacteria on everybody’s skin... it must have just contaminated the sample when it was taken.
Even Stella has concluded that someone cheated.
Poster, nobody cheated. Thankfully there is trust between you and your husband
I can’t believe that in 2020, nigerian laboratories are still giving Staph Aureus as STD diagnosis.
Whatever result you got form the people who gave you that diagnosis, just cancel it! Cancel it!!!

Go to a Standard gynaecologist while your husband visits a standard urologist.

    4. My sisters, the matter is tiring

When I was much younger and would travel to the East in luxurious buses, I used to see all those native drug peddlers say that Staph aureus causes infection and infertility. I thought people would be better educated about that 20 years later. It is disheartening that even a laboratory is giving this false info at this time. That’s why doctors advice people not to self medicate and this includes not just waking up and going to laboratory to carry out test. The laboratory technician/scientist can test you but they can never diagnose you properly.

Poster said she’s taking medication, I wonder what they have prescribed for her.
Poster just stop whatever medication you’re taking until you see a specialist.

  16. Please in Nigeria there are many variables. The lab may have not stored the sample properly and when they looked everything don die. You need to go to a good lab for a second opinion. Something may have happened from the time you got pregnant to when you started having issues.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You have a very valid point. If the sample is not analyzed within few minutes, it could lead to false results. Also, the time interval between when the sample was collected and when the man took it to the hospital (if he took the sample at home) matters too.
Always seek for a 2nd and 3rd opinion.
You can visit NAUTH. They have a gynae department.

    1. Please Stop treating Staphylococcus Aureus, you’re only causing more trouble for yourself and probably causing antibiotic resistance for whatever infection you actually have.
Staph Aureus can colonize your vagina but it doesn’t cause STD/STI, neither does it cause infertility. it is mostly harmless harmless to the reproductive system.
When it does cause infection in the body, it is usually skin/soft tissue infection, bone infection, maybe Toxic shock, but it doesn’t cause infertility

Dear poster, sounds like your hubby's diet may be affecting his sperm or if he puts electronics like laptop or mobile phone near his p****.
Please work with him to change his diet - encourage him if he does to stop or substantially reduce drinking alcohol, no more junk food and be preparing for him lots of vegetables, encourage him to be drinking water and herb drink. He should also stop taking caffeine if he does. As a couple be exercising together and encourage him to lose weight if he is overweight or has a big belly.
Google tips to increase sperm count for me. Many men have had testimonies just by changing their diet. For some men excessive alcohol and unhealthy lifestyle seriously affects sperm.
You and hubby will be fine and by God's grace you will have more children together, just be working together to have good hygiene, and live and eat healthily.
Sending you lots of prayers and blessings

  23. There is something awry with this chronicle.

Madam how will can you vouch for your husband?
Either the test result is wrong on the zero sperm. For the Staph infection it might not necessarily mean either of you contracted it through sexual intercourse, there are many ways of contracting the infection even by mere inhaling infected droplets of someone that has it when the sneeze or cough.

You both need urgent medical attention.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hi Stella, Staphylococcus is not classified as a sexually transmitted disease though it can be transmitted skin to skin contact

    ReplyDelete
  25. No, staph is not a sexually transmitted infection. And Yes, a man who has fathered a child before can later have azoospermia( zero sperm) . This can be due to a lot of causes and not STI. So it is possible that both of you can be faithful and such happen. Your husband needs to see a urologist and not a gynaecologist( except if there’s any other thing detected in your own tests) Further tests will be carried out on him and then treatment.

God came through naturally, so yes, technically, you need only once sperm to run his race, an you will be pregnant. stay happy and joyful, your baby will come.

  29. This staph aureus infection thing in Nigeria is a big medical scam!!! Yes! I will say it over and over again. I've been a victim of this nonsense. For many years I was swallowing antibiotics and doing tests as a single lady. Mind you, I had no sexual intercourse with anybody. My journey was traumatic and I got embarrassed and scared many times. Until i met a very experienced female gynaecologist who told me the truth and said there was nothing to worry about. For the first time, I met a doctor who or prescribed nothing for me. I'm married now and I have children. When I look back, I laugh and thank God for my life. This is me who spent almost all I had treating "staphylococcus aureus".

  34. Please do not give up hope. You can seek for a second opinion on the low sperm count. It happened to me. They said my husband’s sperm count was below optimal and he cannot impregnate me (at one very top fertility clinic in Lagos) meanwhile, we have one child already. But when he went to Enugu, they said it was okay!!!!! In Enugu, we went to see Prof. Hyacinth Onah of Mbanefo Hospital. It is located opposite trans-ekulu. I conceived of my second naturallly after seeing him. Meanwhile the Olive Branch big doctor was pushing us for IVF. Please, follow your instincts in these kinds of things. Seek for a second opinion. There is no way a man who has conceived before can end up with 0 sperm count. Also the staph infection could not have caused it. In addition, do a google search of food and vitamins that help increase sperm count, he should be taking them.
Most of all, stand on your faith in God that you will have another child.
