  4. I still don't understand how and why these Northern states are still part of Nigeria. With all rules the northerners are still the oga patapata of drug abuse, child marriage, poverty, terrorism and others that I can't even talk about.

Selling in the market after 6pmnis prohibited because the market closes after at 6pm, the village markets have no gates so people stay late in the name of still selling and end up breaking into closed shops & stealing. So once its pass 6pm and you are in the market, it means u are there to steal. So what is wrong with their rules?

  19. Why write the document in Hausa. Is Hausa the Lingua franca of Nigeria?
They did this kind of thing during my NYSC.
The ministry people will come for a meeting in the office and
for 3 hours, they will be speaking hausa. We the nysc workers
there, almost all from the south, won't understand anything.
But the truth is that they can't speak a sentence in English.

  22. Not condoning the guidelines set however, Sahara Reporters seem to be deliberately mistranslating some of the entries like "Use of curved plates and bowls". To clarify, the law prohibits traders to use dented bowls to measure when selling. This is deemed as dishonest as it reduces the quantity of what is being measured. This is to prohibit traders cheating customers. Loosely translated it reads-" it is prohibited to measure with a dented bowl". It has nothing to do with eating with curved plates and bowls as insinuated by Sahara reporters translation.
