Imo State1st Lady Chioma Uzodinma Emphasizes Need For Women To Build Strategic Engagements And Partnerships.....

Imo state 1st lady Chioma Uzodinma attended a workshop organized by the Office of the National Women Representative of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker /Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) with the theme: The New Normal.

It held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in Abuja.....

At the summit, Her Excellency Barr. Chioma Uzodimma, spoke on the need for women to build strategic engagements and partnerships across board. She maintained that it is time for our women to synergize with the necessary individuals, political parties, organizations and institutions and lead the conversation for women emancipation and inclusion in politics, governance and public services.

 

She says her office in Imo State,is mopping up the necessary linkages for the betterment of women, including organising activities under the auspices of the Nigeria Governors Wives Against Gender-based Violence (NGWA-GBV).

She thanked the organizers for being forthright in their thoughts and coming up with such laudable discussions, urging them to keep up the tempo until they advance beyond the 35% Affirmative Action.

The First Lady, Imo State was joined by Her Excellency, the Wife of the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Dr. (Mrs.) Bola Njoku, Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, Member Representing Okigwe North Federal Constituency and the wives of other senior appointees of the Imo State Government.
