Bamidele said the Senate was working with the relevant committees of the House of Representatives on the amount earmarked for the prosecution of Boko Haram suspects.

“These are some of the issues before us as a committee.
It’s not just the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, the House Committee on Justice is also working with us on this matter,” .

The conviction was upheld by the appellate court after they lost an earlier appeal at a lower court.

  2. Six abokis has been convicted and one among them is a top government official. What more do you need to know that this government are the sponsors of tetorrist? UAE couldn't have prosecuted to the point of convicting without letting the Nigerian government know through her embassy. So the Senate should stop the lies.

  7. Liars as usual. The UAE would just start prosecuting such a high profile case relating to terrorism without informing the Nigerian embassy or government? Of course no. They were only hoping it'd be done quietly but of course the Emirates isn't nigeria.

  8. USA is watching in the fringes to see if they will diplomatically try to free ISIS
sponsors. Boko Haram has pledged allegiance to ISIS and that is why UAE couldn't free those.
