    1. Exactly my thoughts as well. People tend to do better outside the country because the rule of law works over there plus good basic and infrastructural development.

  7. If this man was in Nigeria, would he had attend such feat? You see how better opportunity are birthed overseas? Here in Nigeria, he would have been suppressed by the government with reason best known to them. Train your kids overseas is the best investment you can ever give to them.

    1. Chike nnam, this are people that would have made impact on Nigeria economy if he was here, but do you know if he was to be here in the country, he will be made a junior minister and someone without what it takes made Oga over him because they 'own' the country. You know what that means, he will end up taking instruction from incompetency until he's frustrated out of office.

  19. He did nothing, the Pfizer vaccine was developed by Pfizer and BioNTech. BioNTech is Owened by a German couple who are of Turkish origin. The Nigerian guy was not the lead in the research, he was just a member of the team from Pfizer. Western media celebrated the German couple as the brains behind the vaccine. This is not about hate, it is a question of saying the fact.

    1. Abeg swerve... You are pained because he wasn't associated with fraud or drugs. I've followed your comment on this blog for so long that I am not surprised at this one. A simple congratulation won't kill you.

    2. No one, who has ‘nothing’ to contribute will be a part of the team. ‘He did nothing’ just reeks of poison. And no one, absolutely no one, said he did ‘everything’. If nothing, I celebrate him for the height he, a Nigerian immigrant, has attained in his career. Go and try and tell me how easy it is.

    3. You are RUDE fir saying he did “Nothing “
Even if na just present Sir he did in the group work still appreciate him

    4. you are the daft one here bro..your opening statement is purely hating..the article says part of the team that he3lped develop..where did you read he invented it? even if the idea was the couple's they had a team that heleped them and he must have been one of the notable members..take a break and stop hating.

    5. So he must be the lead before we celebrate him??? Being a team member is not enough? Abegiii hare.

  20. (CNN)Scientists Ugur Sahin and Ozlem Tureci have dedicated their lives to the field of oncology and infectious diseases, and spent years pioneering personalized immunotherapy treatments for cancer.

But amid the coronavirus pandemic, the couple's groundbreaking research in the field of modified genetic code has catapulted them into the public eye, as the brains behind the world's first effective coronavirus vaccine.

Sahin, 55, and Tureci, 53, set up BioNTech in the central German city of Mainz in 2008

  21. Lord I desire to use my course of study in Regulatory Affairs for Drugs to make the world realize that Nigerian youths have special gift from God that can be for good and not just stereotyped for crime. Congratulations to the guy. It's not easy Covid-19 really stole sleep from Pharmaceutical companies all over the world.

  22. Wow congrats dear, may nothing dim your light over there.

  23. He did nothing, he was just part of the team. Really??? Do you have any idea what it takes to even make an infectious disease research team in the first place??? I can confidently say that he would have to be twice as smart as many of the oyinbo people on the team. For all you know he could have been working on something similar in the first place. Do you think that with what was at stake, he would just be added just to count petri dishes?? If you don't know how research labs work please swerve. Please our son did very well and should be doubly celebrated.
