    1. Try alcohol. Please don't start taking sleeping drugs now, you're too young for it and if your body gets used to it, it might become difficult to stop plus health complications.
A glass/ bottle of wine/stout might help. That's what helps me the days I can't sleep.

    2. Warm milk. Mix the milk with warm water. Most time after taking a cold bath i take warm milk enough to bring out lil sweat.
As that sweat is cooling off na lalalalalal

    3. @Jessyca that's drug abuse.

Lily Cherie , this is what I do , I turn off my lights one hour before bed time.
I listen to gospel lullaby, I try to stay away from my phone , and when I wake up maybe pee , I avoid touching my phone and I shut my eyes.
I fall back asleep almost immediately, it took a while but eventually I started getting four hours of sleep at the stretch and a total of 6 hours everyday.

    7. So sorry dear.
      Please try to move on.

What I learnt from the death of love one is that it is the will of God and God's will for us is the best but some are painful like this your brother's own and my brother's inlaw(that is not just an inlaw but a brother friend father mentor hero to all around him ) death this year.

But at end of it's all, God takes back what belongs to him as we take what belongs to us from the holder.

  17. About presents I forgot that:
The least I gave out was 5kg of salt and fabrics for many nwuyedis.
When we're leaving by January, my trunk go hear am because they return favors alot with native things and foodstuffs.

The other co-wives within: a bag with branded items, mostly for official use, big pink towel with name embroidery and the almighty red Gladore Thermal Flask. Haha.

I received lots o. My parents returned weeks ago with boxes from my older siblings(both used and new items), my kids jump taya.

Then DH shocked me this morning. With all the millions he lost? Ah God. I thank you o.
A magic gift box mystical pcontaining... one pink diamond stud, some neckerchiefs,Chanel brooch, a book that will probably make me change from some things I've been doing, haha. Hopefully.
    He tried abeg.

  20. My legs are shivering. I am extremely tired. The next time in-laws tell me they intend coming for Xmas, I will form emergency and run elsewhere.
These people left me to do everything from breakfast to the pounded yam and egusi soup, to the grilled chicken , cake and small chops. They even left me to wash up and clean up. They also came with their young children between age bracket (7 and 3).I can't count the number of times I cleaned, swept and mopped floor. Just had my bath and retired to bed without eating. I dey vex .There is no way I can do this ever again .And to think they will be staying till after the new year celebration.I just pray they go back before any anticipated lockdown. I can't cope abeg. I am tired. I love them but they are forming that they can't come to my house and enter kitchen.

    8. Order food from a good food vendor/cook/caterer and let hubby pay for it. Relax and put your legs up

    9. My dear, it's not easy asking some in-laws to help I understand, but do yourself a favor; "form sick"- if you know what I mean, they will be forced to join you, you will only supervise them stylishly to do the work. No go kill yasef trying to impress in-laws.

      All the best.

  21. Just finished sharing my Christmas gifts to neighbours. Tomorrow I'll continue, I'm exhausted even though i didn't cook. My family got a surprise gigantic Christmas hamper. I was dazed, the hamper really brought back my Christmas spirit. It gingered me to repackage my Christmas gifts.

Christmas is all about sharing and giving, this is one tradition I hold very dear.

    Merry Christmas my people
