TIPS FOR A HAPPY MARRIAGE - PART TWO

Continued from Wednesday IHN

= CLEAN OUT YOUR SPACE.

Start from your wardrobe and closets, sort out clothes of donkey years that have no business being there, burn old weaves and hair attachments, throw out empty containers, sort through piles of papers, old shoes you know you will never wear again. Give them out if you are comfortable with it or throw them away. I prefer to give them out to those who need it because it's generosity and the fact that I am giving it out in LOVE and pure heart secures me.

Move your furniture around and sweep out those corners that is hard to reach, remove cobwebs, wash your window curtains and open those windows and let fresh air and sunlight stream though your home. Do same to all the rooms and kitchen/pantry, throw out those worn out pots and half broken plates. The piles of take-away plastic and sacks nko? Sweep, scrub and spray nice smelling fresheners if you can't afford to buy scented candles. This might take you days - its worth it! When you are done you will feel that pride, that comfort, that satisfaction and joy - that's it! CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS!!!

= WATER.

Drink at least 2 litres of water daily. Find joy in bathing more than once daily. Wash, clean, any excuse to touch and use water is good for you.

= EXERCISE.

You are not just a bag of meat and bones. You are filled with billions of cells. (Kindly find out how many cells used in building an atomic bomb and compare to how many you carry in your body then you know how powerful you are, 🤣🤣🤣). Each of these cells carry energy. Move your energy and keep them pumping. Stop laying about.

= GRATITUDE.

"Thank you" is the most powerful word/phrase. Always find reasons to use it. Always find reason to say it. Say a minimum of 2000 "Thank yous" daily. Especially when you exercise, while your energy is active, with joy and gratitude generated by thousands of things you are thankful for - No force on earth at that moment is more powerful than you. If you choose to focus on that marriage, that boss, those in-laws and thank God or thank them for all the good they are (nomatter how few, just keep repeating them), focus sincere appreciation while exercising - no jaz or manipulation on earth can stand you at that moment.

If you are praying for certain qualities in your future life partner, this is how to do it with joy and enthusiasm while you pictures and thank God for a partner who treats you like a king/queen, not in lamentations, starving yourself to blackmail God in the name of fasting and running from pillar to post!

= PRAYER.

Ask once and believe with joy and child-like trust. He is not deaf! Pray more for other people. Ask once and move your focus from asking to thanking.

= GENEROSITY.

Have a mind of abundance, not lack or scarcity. Give and remember to start from your household, your children, househelp, your gate man and his family, your next door neighbour, people in your village, close and distant relatives, your colleagues at work, artisans that render you services, that woman by the road side that always greet you; take care of these ones before going to church or show off on social media give-aways. It's not limited to money. It's in kind words, its in lending a helping hand, its in bearing inconveniences for the next person, giving a listening ear, going an extra mile for that frustrated customer at the office, its in setting your cares aside to pray for others. It is in my sharing these tips.

= MASTER YOUR WORDS.

Use words and expressions that make you feel powerful, blessed, loved, secure and hopeful. Stop using sentences like " people are wicked o. Men are scum. All men are cheats. Friends are terrible. Trust no friend".
Your words becomes your reality. I practiced and found that even the most impossible situation is possible when you keep saying it.

=EAT HEALTHY.

Eat that ripe sweet pawpaw, that sweet orange, mango. Eat it with relish and tell yourself 'life is sweet'. Cook those fresh vegetables and protein, serve yourself in the best plate you own and tell yourself "I deserve it".
You can indulge once in a while on processed food but learn to quench your sweet tooth on sweet fresh fruits. Treat your body like a temple that is guided by laws. Be sure to detoxify regularly just as you clean out your physical space.

All or some of these points may seem unconnected to your marital problems, career, money shortage, health etc, but I charge you to try and you will be astonished how every single one of them is a vital piece of the puzzle.

I was taught years ago. It looked strange and I doubted it. Then decided to give it a try. I practiced and it worked like magic. I apply this to every situation; money, a horrible boss, when my organisation was struggling and wanted to downsize staff, when I was looking for a husband with certain qualities my friends thought was impossible and a fantasy , my husband's career and his relationship with his superiors, through pregnancies and childbirth.

This works for anyone no matter your religion or even if you don't have a religion.

BV Saphire.

Anon asking about birth control, I want to believe you already know that being married at the registry ie court marriage is as authentic as they come. The church wedding is just extra.

For birth control, go to your OB and get a mirena (IUD) inserted. It’s typically good for 5 years but you can get it taken out before the 5 years if you choose or when you’re ready to start trying for kids.

Or, your husband can continue to use condom until you’re both ready to have children.

So you don't have the strength to study your bible, but the moment you hear one song, you automatically have strength to sing it loudly to the end .... See the devil is really after you!.
Oh you are always feeling so sleepy that you cannot force yourself to pray, but you can force yourself to watch that movie to the end no matter how heavy your eyes are abi .... Lemme tell you something, devil Dy play you wayo ooo!!.
You cannot fast for even 6am-12am, because your tummy is always biting you,but you can gist for hours and even forget that you have not eaten ..... I pity you,the devil is using you to boast!!.
You don't have the time and patience to seek the face of GOD over that matter abi,but you have to time and patience to ask every other person for advice and follow every other human idea you know
.... See, the enemy wants to ensnare you!!
Kill Spiritual Laziness and GET SERIOUS WITH GOD!!!

  9. That adoption question is why some ppl go through the illegal route of adopting a baby. I am not saying it is right, I am just saying the system has made it so stressful that desperate families just choose to avoid that.

Why make it stressful for parents genuinely looking to adopt a child. I know background checks need to be done, then fucking do it and stop keeping people waiting for months to get a feedback.

BV TEACHER NONI, PLS I AM STILL LOOKING FOR YOU. IF YOU ARE STILL ON THIS BLOG, PLS HELP ME REPLY THIS CHAT NA.

    1. the adoption rigorous process should stop. Its too stressful and too demanding...

      Delete
    2. Exactly the discussion I had with my husband. Adoption is so rigorous in this country. In a system where things work , all these young people with unwanted pregnancy should be able to be matched with prospective parents who can cater for the babies. The reverse is the case here where everyone screams keep the baby without thinking of the child’s future. Government Agencies will quickly fish out those illegal adoption centres while doing nothing to help genuine parents to be. That’s why this country still have cases of babies dumped at road sides.

    3. adoption process world wide is rigouruos and stressful giving a child away should come with very stringent conditions

  13. Men, one of the ways you can avoid cheating on your wife is to tell her about it. Once you start having feelings for whatsoever reason for another woman, tell your wife. Sometimes, sharing a secret discourages one from carrying out something but keeping it within you gives you more reasons to do it. The wife on the other hand shouldn't flare up condemning her husband outrightly for having a feeling for another woman. This applies to both men and women. The truth is that the fact that you're married will not make you see a beautiful/handsome person and close your eyes or say the person is ugly just so you don't seem like you're admiring someone. Seeing beautiful people and admiring God's handiwork is not wrong but stepping out of line to want to have something with them is the wrong thing and this is where self control comes in.

opening up to your spouse about your feelings will help you fight whatever thing that is propelling you to want to step out of line. In other words, you both are aware and with understanding you will work it out whichever way will work for. Either by praying about it, checking for what went wrong, going for counselling or talking to someone you feel you can share it with.

This is rare but marriage is hard work and this is one of it

Madam that want to get married, congratulations! I have never taken any type of birth control in my life, because there has been no need to and I don't think there would ever be a need too.
The side effects of birth control is worse than just keeping you afar from getting pregnant. I don't advice any type of birth control that can messed up the woman body.
Just talk to your husband to use protection or withdrawal method.

  21. Question on marriage;
If the man has paid your bride price to your dad/his representative, he is your husband, for that is Scripture. Christ became the bridegroom of the Church after he paid with his blood.
Please, irrespective of whatever church doctrine you adhere to, you know in your heart that you are married, once your bride price is paid. Your family has handed you over to the man. Spread your legs and collect beautiful babies.
And please in all, do not begin your marriage with the guilt of abortion.

being paid to her parents. That payment of the bride price is the marriage.

You see those hormonal injections and drugs are a no no for you. If I may ask, can't you wait till April,2021.Just 4 months nau. If you have waited for this long,4 months is not far at all. But if you must do the do, just use condom ONLY.BV Sapphire, your write up makes sense die! Stay safe and stay blessed everyone.

  27. I don't fully know the process of adoptions in Nigeria. But please, if you are doing so outside the government, go to a Catholic charity e.g. the nuns motherless babies home near you. And follow their protocols, which I guess includes going back to that registry to report and register any child you adopt from them. Please do not just go to any NGO so as not to be paraded by police as a child trafficker.

  44. Shappire I bind you in the name of Jesus. I don't know what your mission is on this blog but you won't deceive true believers. Are you telling me that Jesus was a fool for fasting? Did you not read where God answered Hanna when she knelt and cried out? Have you ever read the Bible? Because if you did you would know that fasting and supplication is a powerful way to get God to shift things in the spiritual and physical realm. I'm all about gratitude. Every morning and evening I list the things I'm grateful for and thank God for it but even the Bible says that there is a time for everything. God knows we are humans, Jesus himself said that we would face trials but be rest assured because he has overcome the world. Even Jesus himself cried out to God. The early apostles and disciples fasted and prayed. There are many instances in the Bible where a sincere cry to God or fasting brought on new unheard miracles. Please don't deceive people. I don't know if you are ignorant about certain topics ( it seems so) but humble yourself, fast and cry to God to show you the truth of His Word and stop following this new age nonsense. Also saying thanks while you are exercising is more powerful? Where did you find that part in the Bible? You can say thanks in every situation and pray in every situation and God would still be pleased with you. I wanted to write this yesterday and warn every true Christian to be careful not to blindly follow what you wrote but I was too busy but today I took time so that I could quickly comment. Please Shappire seek the word of God before trying to advice others. Stella please post. Don't let the children of God be deceived by someone who doesn't speak for God but for her own ulterior motives.

    1. 17.55. Like I said b4 many bvs asked for these tips, I had seen it all. You think you know the bible? I spent 4years in bible school. I need not tell you the extent I went in church leadership but what I shared here is what eventually worked for me with ease EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't practice pulpit packaged Christianity anymore. And what I wrote works for every human, nomatter your religion or even if you don't have a religion or ever read a bible. They are laws of nature like you have the law of gravity that will operate when you throw an object up, no matter your religion, it will come down. I am a Christian but I don't stuff it down people's throats.
Meanwhile, none of my points is un-Godly. Which one of them offends you? The cleaning, the generosity, or the water, exercise and eating right? It's been 7years now since I learned this and I wished I learned earlier. I haven't had one reason to "cry to God". I haven't had this much joy loving and trusting God with abandon instead of the way I used to go about it trying to get Him to "shift things" anywhere for me.

By the way, what of people who are not Christians or never had the privilege of holding the bible? What bases would you converse with them if you are talking to people who only appreciate logic and not religion? I have taught 2 of my Muslim friends and they are good.
