Speaking during a sermon in his church on Sunday, the Borno pastor said the Boko Haram leader wants Nigerians to pray for him.
Pastor Yunana said last night, he had a “revelation” that Abubakar Shekau’s health condition is very bad.
He said Shekau, who needs prayers from both Christian and Muslim residents of Maiduguri, is ready to ask for forgiveness.
Recall that a captured Boko Haram fighter had revealed that an attack by the Nigerian military has crippled the leader of the insurgence, Abubakar Shekau.
The leader of the faction of Boko Haram has not been seen on his feet lately as he has released video where he is seen sitting or in some cases, using audio to pass across his message.
According to The Cable, Mohammed Adam, a teenage fighter, who is currently in the custody of troops of 195 battalion of the Nigerian army, says Shekau can no longer walk effectively.
In a video, Adam said Shekau got injured during an aerial bombardment on an insurgents’ camp in Tumbuktu, Sambisa forest and can no longer lead any operation physically.
The teenage fighter said he was abducted by Boko Haram at the age of 10 while working on the farm in Firgi, Gwoza local government area of Borno.

Deletehow is it a joke? so if God shows him something he should not say it abi? if you live and die with unforgiveness you can never make heaven...best believe this. i dont care what anyone does to you as a christian you must forgive. if shekarau genuinely repents and ask Jesus into his life he will be forgiven and make heaven when he dies. God can even decide to keep him alive after he repents..sorry that is the gospel of jesus

ReplyDeleteHe always communicates via video. Why can’t he communicate the same way so we can all see him. He put us through so much in this country. If he’s truly repentant, he should go on video and call all his Fulani herdsmen to stop the killing. If we don’t have Fulani herdsmen and boko harem going on rampage, it will be one less thing to worry about. At least we can start taking road trips again without so much fear. Until then, he’s on his own.
