DeleteThey were paid for the show even before it aired, it was a contract. Same way Kardashians are paid by E. If the ratings are good, you get renewed. Mercy/Ike got a renewal contract for a 2nd season. So it seems the show had good ratings for the sponsors. I doubt if there will be a 3rd cos they have been replaced by the new BBN peeps already.
DeleteAnon 16:59, I doubt if they have been replaced by the new house mate oh, Mercy is still garnering endorsements and constantly staying busy, and for a guy, Ike is not doing badly either. Their show was quite popular and will get renewed for the tenth time if they show interest. The reason for that is that people like scooping into these celebrities personal life, so they will have something to troll them about. Someone, I still have this feeling that this their break up is for clouts. How can you be all over each other at the end of September during her birthday, and a week later, the relationship is broken irredeemably? We will see how it plays out. Whatever it is, I wish them nothing but happiness and peace of mind.
DeleteI agree with you that Mercy is still very relevant. But I don't know if Merike fans are still huge and the show is based on Merike ship. Most shipping fans have moved to Ozone and Kiddrica. But they both tried to even have 2 seasons. I also agree with you that the break up might be to revive interest for the show. Both Mercy and Ike are money smart.

Both of u washed ur dirty linen for d public to see & now u can’t take all u told us back, otherwise, ur troubled relationship could have been repaired.
