Cake Bakers And Tailors Are The Same.....

The job of Cake Bakers and Tailors is to re- create.........

Often times the re-creation is so bad that you are left in deep shock staring back at what you ordered for and what you got..................

A Blog visitor celebrated her Birthday on Tuesday and the photo of the cake up there is what her order looks like but she broke down crying when she got the cake below....

I find this so hilarious that the cake baker even had the guts to deliver this cake that looks like sacrifice for the gods..... Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Please if you ordered for something and got something shocking instead, send me the photos for posting, I am in the mood to laugh out loud so bad....

  1. Instead of them to tell you they can't make something like that, they will rather spoil the work

    2. This just brought back an ugly memory of my kid’s birthday 😡.
Had a last minute decision to mark it in the east instead of when we return to Lag. My husband paid one baker about 10k for the cake. When it came, it was a complete disaster
      1) cake was small
      2) cake was still hot
      3) then she ICED the HOT CAKE
      4) icing/fondant had no choice but to melt and loose form, colors blending into a bright mess
      5) nke kachasi njo bu na the cake was not well cooked, had 3 layers, burnt, cooked and uncooked.
Ah!!! Anyway, let bygones be bygones 😤😕

    3. This cake up there is very simple. The black would have been her challenge, but can be achieved. The flowers on top can be bought from cake shops. That baker is still in the 1st stage of learning.

    3. Reason why I refuse to show my traditional wedding pictures. That my mom's tailor does not have the fear of God. I looked like a bag of rice. Very shapeless like that bag for making pap. I got it right during my white wedding

    4. Minus me. I take what I can sew and meet up cos I don't accept fabrics if I have too much work and I charge cos I know my onions well

  6. Before criticizing the cake maker,
How much did you prize for that cake, maybe that's where your money ends🤣🤣🤣🤣
DID you ask her to use dark colours?,I don't understand the colours
What brought out the beautiful of the first cake is the colours and the flowers.
I might be wrong, BTW how was the taste 😁😁😁😁😁

    2. abeg dont even excuse this rubbish except you have no taste...this has nothing to do with how much she paid. some people cant do stuff but will claim they can. if i am using a new vendor for stuff like this i ask them to send me pictures of only their works, that way I can rate you...if it was about money then she might have done only a one step cake and still had something beautiful...but this person no even get am at all. the buttercream sef is runny

  10. Haaa I remember ordering a cake from my baker. Her assistant who normally takes the order took it as usual. When she brought the cake I flipped. It was so terrible, with icing running and had been bashed. When I asked why it was bashed she said the Okada she boarded was driving rough. Okada ke? I was livid and called the owner of the bakery. That was when she told me she had sacked the girl the month b4. The cake also had sand. When I asked the girl she said she used local sand oven to bake it. Meanwhile she still collected the 16k I usually used to order that size.

  17. This is not a cake na. Can the baker sit down to eat what she/he has made? Looking like what an eze n'muo wants to offer to amadioha at the market square. Na wa!

If you can't make something, be honest with it. It's not all jobs you must accept, there's not shame in that.

  20. I'm a very good tailor! If I actually can't recreate a particular style, I don't hesitate to tell you shikina!

If you wan go another place, no wahala. Sometimes, I even end up getting it perfectly or even more perfect than the one being recreated

  21. A lot of the time too, people who don’t want to pay the worth of a fantastic baker end up going for someone cheaper and run the risk of this kind of disappointment.
I’m a baker, my cakes are lovely and tasty and if I cannot do a design, I will tell you it’s not my specialty. I have never advertised here even though I’m an old BV because I know my cakes aren’t the cheapest around and I don’t want issues here but no one amongst my clients has had to call me back to complain about what they got.
