Visited Texas one December. Walking around with family one sunny day in T-shirts, next thing I knew snow started falling!!! Couldn't believe it. Their weather is wacko sha.

DeleteRockstar, I live in Texas too and the weather is wacko. Texas is the only state I have lived in that rain will fall in one street and two streets down will be completely dry. They will you rain is coming with 90% certainty and the next thing you know, it is freezing cold! That's how it is in south Texas. Oh, and take it easy on the generalizations. All humans do it because our brain handles multiple information better with categories.

I've been to Texas many times and it is never really cold. I'm indoors in London now where its snowing and I'm wearing less clothes than he is.

ReplyDeleteIt is very possible that it could be Texas. As @Eka Joy mentioned if the house has it's heater turned on he can be dressed the way he is dressed in that picture. It is not be very cold in Houston, Texas this week compared with the North Eastern parts of the US.

Strangely, only my feet get cold at night and I hate it when they touch each other at night. I sleep naked with only socks on. Lol
It was -7 last night and I slept naked under the duvet with my window was slightly open.
No matter the weather, I don’t close my bedroom windows completely.
This is so me, sleeping with the windows slightly open during the winter.
DeleteI live in Italy and during winter when the heater is on I sometimes wear less clothes in the house. If I took a picture and posted it someone may think that is a summer pic. So he could be really in Texas. I live in one of the coldest city in Italy and trust me Texas winter is not a match to our winter.
ReplyDeleteMy sister lives in Calgary and when she visits me in the UK, she wears single layer, while me I’m struggling with 3 layers. She’s used to colder climates. My polish friend wears shorts and trainers in the middle of winter.

As long as your heater is on, you can dress skimpily inside your house.
I travelled exactly this time 2 years ago to Texas though Houston in my coat coming from Spain, and only for me the pass immigration to get to my next local flight that I saw some girls and guys looking like they were coming from the beach- with their bum shorts, flip flops and plain tee shirts.
ReplyDeleteI was in Texas for the next 2 months and I can assure you, I never had to wear my coat or boots at any time in Texas. In fact I had to quickly enter Nordstrom to shop for lighter cloths.
But even if it was snowing outside, you don’t have to be dressed like you are under it inside your house
