DeleteI once had this persistent toaster and as I was beginning to reason his matter valentine came and he said he had to travel to see his mom on the 13th. So I waited. Me that has never reciprocated his love gestures b4, i suddenly started sending him endless texts of how much i loved him, miss him....I would call every hour and of course he never picked. I continued till he came back on the 14th evening and came to see me. I asked him to show me the avalanche of texts I sent him, he hadn't any of them. All deleted🤣. I knew he was with his main chick. (He wanted to make ME a side chick) Then I saw fingernail marks on his face that injured his left eye. And i knew they had a fight🤣🤣. Then I told him if he could not produce any of my texts from the night b4 I will not date him.

On Vals day I went to Dominos to buy pizza, took it home and chop my life... I no fit shout.
I didn't know guy man had a valentine date with my cousin. She had agreed to be his val just to embarrass him because she somehow monitored me and knew I was in Abuja.
Two days later he requested to see me. I said ok. He came and was explaining how long third mainland bridge was. While at it I carried his phone, went to his gallery and saw my cousin's pics everywhere.
I walked him out, called my cousin and asked her what was going on. She gave me the low down and told me what her plans were. She was monitoring me on val's day and was worried I wasn't with my guy. I told her he didn't want me around so I respected myself.
As for her pics all over his phone... guy man was saving her pics upandan from Facebook o, whatsApp, bbm and any social media you can think of. He was obsessed with her and wanted to lay her at all cost. I weak when she finished her explanation. See why I can NEVER exchange words or fight another woman because of a man.
Long and short, my cousin stood him up as she didn't want to be there without me. She had planned everything with her fiancee. To think everyone around us knew he was chasing her. I felt so embarrassed.
It was like film trick when I dumped his sorry ass. It was so easy for me because I was emotionally disconnected from him long ago.
Abeg... I thank God for delivering me from a community penis.
My val this year is my hubby dearest.

I can't come and go and kill myself.
My own was just yesterday. I got to his place for the first time and I had to come back home that yesterday, we met ending of last year through a mutual. He dresses so well, rich, handsome and has a good job. We were vibing so well. He asked me out and I agreed to be his girlfriend but we decided not to rush anything. He is romantic, sends me stuff to my office and all. He comes to take me out to lunch sometimes and my colleagues really do like him too, clean car, clean guy and all.
ReplyDeleteSo back to the gist, we got to his place, the entrance is nothing to write home about, very dirty and totally opposite of the person I have known for almost 2 months. Shared apartment, so I hoped to get into his own house and be surprised. Beevees, I was annoyingly surprised, this guy is 33! Dirtiest place I have been to, well arranged and well cleaned but everything is either looking so old or so worn out. Disappointment was an understatement. I clinched my bag tight to my side, managed to sit somewhere and rested for life 30mins while holding my breath every 5mins.
When I was done resting, I faked call from my mum and told him I need to go home that there was an emergency.
Maybe he noticed my displeasure because my disgust was written all over my face.
I ordered uber, got home and deleted his number.
God!
Guys I know Lagos is an expensive place to live in but, how can you have a clean car, wear designers while your place, a place you call home, looks like a refuse dump? I have never been irritated all my life.

Lol that that was how my friend's boyfriend took her to her gateman's house and pretended he lived there. My friend didn't mind and they continued their rship. At the end of the day, the boyfriend was the owner of the big house, and the gateman's house is where his gateman lives. They are happily married with 3 kids now. Rich and sweet family. Just saying. Didn't say you should have cleaned the place, but exercised a lil patience and let his know that he should tidy up his place.

I really wish I could write it all in a chronicle but I don't even have strength. It is too long a read of suffering and pains,but maybe one day I will have that strength.

ReplyDeleteThis is my best valentine cos i spent it with me, myself and I. I have bn jobless for close to 3years and have almost turned into a nuisance to helpers, friends and family. I had good job opportunities but always on the condition that i drop my pants which i refuse. So this faithful day, i decided to take a stroll one evening and an SUV with 2 white guys stopped and asked for directions. About 30mins later i saw them again, they stopped, thanked me, chatted a bit and asked for my name and number. I got a call from them and the guy by the wheel said that the oyinbo on the passenger seat liked me. Fast forward to sept 2020, he eventually got me a job in Lagos, paid 5 years rent for my self contained, changed my wardrobe,bought me a tokunbo rav4 and pocket money. He travelled back to the UK last December cos of the pandemic. BVs i have money to call my own, i can send money home and save too. I am in my apartment drinking red wine and chinese. Happy Valentine's to me and all BVs. Miracles do happen
