    1. True, my friend is in an affair with a married man who has his family in Abuja.

They became close cos she helped him settle in the new city. Mr "married man" has never been in that region and doesn't speak the language.

Before, you know it, they started having sex. Now, they are 3 years gone in it. Meanwhile, Abuja wife has never visited, doesn't even know where her husband resides.

Mr married man goes to Abuja frequently, madam side piece never disturbs him over there too.

      Cash is flowing.
Mr married man is getting "wifely duties" done without actual wife.

      The boat is sailing...
      Hmmm..

  10. I doubt I can get into a long distance relationship especially different countries.
I have an aunt who's been married for about 15 years and they live in different states. It's been working for them.

  12. No now.

I want to enjoy him and enjoy him very well. I didn’t wait all these years for nothing 😤

On a more serious note, I don’t think it’s advisable. At least if it’s not a short term arrangement.

  13. I can ooo, infact i am about to start the journey to another land before he joins me with pikin. As long as we are in the same boat. Why not. Sacrifice need to be made abeg. Even if you tie him to your wrapper. He will cheat if he wants to. Cheat here, cheat there. Marry a Godly man. And peradventure shit happens. Learn to forgive and let go.

  14. There is nothing that breaks a home faster than long distance marriage. I am a perfect example. I am filing for a divorce next month. It is almost 3 years I last saw my husband. We have not talked in almost a year. Just because I got a job in another country. He encouraged me to go since we both were not doing well in Naija. The plan is that he would join
within 6months but he didn't anymore. He wants me to quit my job and come back to work at a local government. I can't o. I have tasted suffering in Nigeria. We have decided to move on with our lives since we don't have children.

    2. Aunty speak for yourself ...it works for so many others. In fact distance and separation is a tonic for some marriages. Once both are committed to their marriage, distance will not affect it. If distance affected your marriage then there was another fundamental fault.

    3. How can he even say you should come back to such a country.

I think he gave you an ultimatum he knows you'd never agree to

I have done long distance within the country and I later got used to it, my space became key sef, something I swore never to do.

Can I really handle another country...hmm

God help our marriages o, na greener pastures we dey find.

    1. Who no go, no know. Out of sight is out of mind for most men. Besides distance/absence reduces your influence in your spouse's life!

  17. Hell yes!
I'd love it very much. I love long distance relationships and wouldn't mind it in marriage. I enjoy living alone most of the time. Just wish someone would get my point.

    2. Oddly, I do get your point. I have cousins who practically beg their spouses not to come home and when their men do come, my cousins literally run them off in matter of weeks.

    4. I get your point. I love it too so it's a yes for me. Good thing we don't have trust issues so everyone is free to be who/what/where they want to be since it's for the good of the home.

  19. If not,why not? It's called compromise and we call it International Love. Haha

Done it once, DH has done it twice and about to embark on his 3rd.
With God on our side and most importantly self discipline in our kitty, my family will scale through the period.
He has unfinished business under the water, why should he hold back from career wins?

There are many video APPs to break the barriers.
