    3. The worst thing to do in this patriarchy dominated country is to publicly display love.

Some evil people will seat on their winch ass and swear not to sleep till they see you shed some tears like them.

Me and my boo way back were doing lovey lovey publicly like Americanahs. I knew what they did to us.

Since then, I don join the fake *God when* team on IG; with my life PRIVATELY locked down! Affliction will not arise the second time.

The way this two were loving up, I was afraid for them and NOT surprised at all with the news flying about.

Simi if you like DON'T wake up after this rumour abi news. Let your brain be sounding like your voice o till they chance you 😎

      All the best

    1. @Anne K, is that all you have to say? If you don't have anything nice to say move on. Even if the rumours turn out to be true that's for his wife to handle as she chooses to and not you.

  10. Stella u sha want us to talk. Me i sha saw on insta where he was accused of doing stuff with one popular girl who's name starts from T. As in especially wen Simi was pregnant. The sources claim to be authentic . I sha find it hardto believe. No matter how talented and successful a man is, woman can make them senseless. Check Dangote and the rest

  16. Dear SDK
I would appreciate if you help me post this for your BVs input
Am 27yrs and in love with my old course mate from Uni days
We reconnected on social media and the sparks flew
We live about 4hr away from each other here in Lagos and he is a good man, Same as I always knew him to be
He is hardworking, God fearing and brutally honest
Now my issue is this; He asked me to consider him for marriage and I said YES
But I don't know how to tell my parents about him
He works as driver in a company ,earning 40k while he also do side hustles like Uber and photographer for events(He rents equipment
He gives me gifts, cherishes me and Am his number 1 fan, We literally seem inseparable
He has never asked me for any form of assistance even when I sense he is in a tight corner
He would say, He should give me not otherwise
He is also trying to start a business of his own , he is not a lazy man
We have decided to begin our marriage rites by April starting with Introduction
How do I tell them(My family) that he is a driver in a company during the introduction?
I have tried getting him another job but his degree and age isn't helping

I also read here about marrying down, Would I be marrying down if I go ahead ?
I currently work as a Unit head in my company earning average of 100k monthly and other bonus
Should I wait for him to find something better? Should I ignore what people would say and go ahead

    1. Don't let the fear of what will people say let you miss out on a good man. Only God knows the future, a person earning well today can lose that job tomorrow. Same way, God is the One who lifts people up from the ash heap and sits them with princes. I purposely filter the content I read on blogs including here because naturally people share negative experiences more, marrying down as far as I am concerned is if you marry the wrong person, that is the real marrying down.

You don't have to tell people what he does, the less information you share the better, it's not their business except for your family, and for those you can tell them he's an events or professional photographer, and combines it with other things, simple.

I wish you the best in your marriage. Go with God and stand in Him. He is good to those who diligently seek Him.

    2. You just talked about a complete package . Marry him and you guys grow financially together...

    3. Please marry him, if he is a good and hardworking man, he’ll make it big by God’s grace, I married my hubby when he had nothing and today he is a billionaire and I don’t even work anymore, people that don’t know our story keep saying how lucky I am, if only they know how we started. I wish you all the best

    4. My advice is to go ahead if you Love him and see a bright future in him. Ladies should stop looking at a man's television and look at his vision. When I married my husband, he was earning 30k and I was earning above him but now, guy is earning over 300k far above what I earns now. He was in a room self contain when we got married with no Furniture but now we are in 3bedroom in an Estate with our choice furniture and Car. please if he has vision, go ahead and marry him
