Nigerians no longer wear their masks or social distance and there are parties holding every weekend but the COVID 19 infections rates are low.....In some Countries there are restrictions /lockdown and people keep on their masks and social distance and cannot party but the numbers keep rising

Stella, truth be told, not enough testing is going on in Nigeria especially at the State level. It is basically Abuja and Lagos that is even managing to do testing. So how would the number increase when testing is not going on at a larger scale. It is the larger the number of testing that will tell whether there is increase or decrease of the Covid-19 amongst us.
ReplyDeletePeople are not submitting theirself to be tested, State Governments does not even have the money to commit to testing and by the mercy of God we seem to have developed herd immunity as someone muted above.

Nigerians are just blessed. That’s my conclusion because it could have been much worse. Also, I think we’re not getting the full picture because some who contracted Covid hid it out of fear of stigmatisation
