  10. @The second meme

Nigerians don’t even know when to stop playing. Someone is sharing their sad experience on the downside of being isolated in a foreign country and all that one has to say is “come back let someone else go”. Very insensitive and tone deaf, idk why they think leaving the country is the best thing that can ever happen to a Nigerian. They’re the type to get stranded in Libya because of their desperation.

    1. I thought I am the only one that thinks like this. I will relocate if I get the opportunity but it’s not like that’s the only way to make it, if not, all these celebrities that lived there and came back here would have remained there

    2. Anon
I’ve lived both abroad and in Nigeria and honestly I prefer being in Nigeria. Both regions have their pros and cons and for me, the pros of being in Nigeria outweigh that of being abroad.
I’d rather stay here but go there occasionally on vacation.

    3. Thank you. With patients in well paying jobs suddenly having to be tied down because they can't be refrained from slamming their heads against the wall even though they haven't abused drugs; to wives who relocate but suddenly develop serious psychosis, not everything is world people. If Africa got its act right, many productive assets would rather live and create wealth there than be so detached from home. Why do you think all these husband and wife churches with the male pastor rolling from scandal to scandal thrive abroad? Because the community is familiar. Because it helps to be with people who speak pidgin English. Why do you think educated people watch those razz women who insult each other on the internet? Because somehow, they are reminded of home.
