Tanzania Gets First Female President

61 year old Samia Suluhu Hassan will become from today Thursday Marc 18,2021 Tanzania’s new president, after President John Magufuli died from heart problems on Wednesday March 17th..







She has made history as the first woman to be President in Tanzania and third Female President in Africa.
She will complete Magufuli’s five-year second term, which he began in November 2020.
