    2. Please, who has heard anything about the US immigrant visa? Have they started issuing to people? Thank you.

      Delete
    3. @18:53 not yet. Besides, there’s no visa interview date until December this year. It’s completely filled up. I know this because a family friend’s trying to bring his mom here and there’s no interview date at the moment. Also Biden stated that people should hold off for now as US is just getting this whole Covid 19 situation in control.

      Delete
    4. Wow! Thanks anon. We had the interview already. We were waiting for the visa to come out when the lock down started last year. What delayed it was they requested for a particular document that was eventually sent. I just pray things fall in place cause I'm tayad.

    5. @22:45 Ahh Congrats on your visa interview!☺️wishing you all the best and I pray things works out well for you and your family. Ps: I’ll also say you should give them (Embassy) a call for an update and to make sure they’ve received the document. I’m the same anon 20:50 who answered your question. Good luck!

Rsq which kind low budget products be dat?u need to up ur makeup game sis

I got this response to my comment on SP.
Please allow me to say this:
A lot of people erroneously believe that the more expensive a make up product is, the more effective it is. Lies!
Most of these products are formulated in China and are branded and shipped to home country by whoever to own them.
Infact, the more "skinlike" products that are highend are not necessarily expensive because they are long wearing, rather, they are highly priced because of the ingredients suited for skin sensitivity, natural finish, moisturising ability, etc.
I have been in the makeup game for years, I used Mac and Black up when they were "in" and I can tell you that our Nigerian brands stand head to head with these brands.
The Kat Von Dees and Estee Lauders you hype are not so suited for black skin.
Here we wear full coverage, oil free, makeup not moisturizing, and sheer, because of our weather.
Whoever you are, don't look down on Nigerian Makeup brands I beg you.
Have you met Nuban concealer? Juvia's place foundation and highlighter?
The only products that actually compares are Laura Mercier(setting powder) Fenty beauty, Huddah and Urban decay (all nighter spray)
What products are your favourite makeup artists using again? Lol.

    3. Anon 15;10, Blossom make up products are ok and cheap too. Please make sure you use a primer.

BenmoreBliss : If you have up to 10k, please get Ladyvee foundation(3k), Gentle Dove setting powder (3,500, very lovely powder), Flawless ivy Primer(3k)

      Delete
    4. Can confirm that Estée Lauder foundation is absolute trash! Waste of money. My skin is really sensitive so I usually opt for high end products thinking they’d be better for my skin but some of them aren’t really all that and a bag of chips.

The ones that work well with my skin are usually black owned products like fenty so you’re right about that. I know House of Tara has some bomb ass lipstick and eyeshadow palettes, as well as Zaron. Mac is way overrated, haven’t touched any of their products probably since I finished uni lmao.

Some Nigerian make up brands are really legit and I actually want to try them out more instead of wasting money on brand names.

  29. My question is this. I am asking for my own understanding.

My husband intends to study for his MSC in the UK so he can make use of the 2 years work permit after study and eventually settle in the region. My question is this from those that have gone this route or those that have experience around this,is it worth it?

His course is MSC Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. His a Computer Engineer consultant here. Basically he needs this upgrade for 2 things. 1 passion 2 obviously money.

    Please advice.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Let me answer you as someone with a career in Cyber security.
Yes it's a good one, let him run along with it.
Does he have a career in cyber security Or any experience in that field? Computer engineering is different from cyber security. But it will not be a difficult transition for him because he's in IT.
Let him try getting experience in cyber security, hackthebox defensive side, get cyber defense skills, since he's going into defense side.
Get globally recognised certification. GIAC, Comptia CYSA+ ISC2, etc..comptia is affordable.

A tip.. He should look at specialising in one of these cyber security careers..They are the future and get certification in his chosen domain.

      1. Cloud security
AWS cloud security,or Azure cloud security etc.

      2. Application security.
      Check "wehackpurple"

      3. ICS/SCADA security..

Going to UK for Msc is good, he will be in the midst of numerous job opportunities which is practically impossible to access here. Talking from experience here.

He should make sure he's abreast of enterprise security with hands on skills/experience.

He must get a globally recognised certification. In this field of cyber security, nobody cares that you have a bsc/masters degree, all they want is your certification and experience.
      Goodluck to him

    2. Thank you so much. I showed this response to him and he was wowed cause he had it planned out already. Now I am convinced we are on track. Appreciate.

    1. Do u have experience in HR or u just wanna jump into it???

Sometimes wat i observe is that most employers dnt reply applicant back based on how ur cv looks. The way u package it. Do u send it with few write up/cover letter. Introducing urself. Like selling urself. No be by just sending cv.

    2. It's called atlethe's foot infection. It's a fungal infection. You would need an antifungal cream and tablet. Get Terbinafine 250mg tablet and take 1 daily for at least 4-6weeks. Also get Daktacort cream and apply on both areas for same period. Rx Nessy

    1. Please quit using vaseline on your face. Go buy pure rosehip oil and apply on your face while it's still wet. Just one or 2 drops is enough. If you are in Lagos, locate central mosque in Balogun, all these hausa guys sell essential oils from Saudi Arabia.

  45. I always have menstrual-like cramps just after my ovulation. This started like 8months ago. I have gone to FMC twice and was told to do pelvic scan on both occasions but nothing was found. The doctors told me that I'm fine. But each time the pain comes i can't help but to wonder if something is not really wrong with. Who has experienced this or know what the cause may be? I'm 29 (single)
