    3. And what makes you an expert?
      Forget the religious mumbo jumbo promoted especially by the church.
      Marriage is a Man-made institution installed for the protection of women when they were economically dependent on men. Today women are increasingly becoming economically independent hence marriage is seen as obsolete (40% in a US study).

      @ Anon 12:28, marriage is an institution ordained by God...
      Marriage is blissful and enjoyable. It depends on the angle you're looking at it...

  2. One truth is that, not everyone will get married in this life. Marriage like I once said isn't a bed of roses. There will definitely be ups and down. One notable lesson on this Bill Gate divorce is that, money isn't all there is to keep or sustain a marriage.

    1. Snarker, your comment isn't a nice one. Even if he's gay which I don't know, doesn't mean he has no right of opinion on marriage issues. Beside, questions he asked wasn't a bad one.

      Everyone has their own opinion and standing on any given topic.
      Good or bad question, comment your thoughts and face front.
      "Your comment isnt a nice one" do we all have to be nice?

  4. Uti is not qualified to talk about marriage. You don't talk about marriage or about Jesus when you are;
    Bhudist
    New age
    ??homo
    Not addressed rape allegations on your head.

    Now lets talk about whether Jesus was married;
    Revelation 19: 7Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. 8She was given clothing of fine linen, bright and pure.” For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints.

  5. He probably has decided to finally be with Ann Winblad, “the love of his life.” It was written years ago that part of his marriage agreement with his wife Melinda was for him to go and spend a weekend once every year with Ann at her house in North Carolina.

    2. Same goes for people that stubbornly continue to pay tithes to churches, it might not manifest in your life, doesnt give you right to condemn those that pay religiously, me i've never paid a dime to a church in more than 10yrs, doesnt sit well in my stomach, I found a fulfilling way to extract my blessings like honey Bees collect pollen and nectar for my entire colony. Why not use Bill and Hillarys marriage to draw inspiration, you focus on the negative and fuel it, where'd you think you'd go? UTI, scam or not.... it doesnt reduce the price of KY jelly for you.

    1. As in!! I dont get the shock. Since when were Bill and Melinda Gates the standard for a perfect marriage? Oh,i forgot. Nigerians and money. We believe they cant have any problems because they are rich. So annoying

  8. He sounds very shallow by this his reasoning. What has age got to do with deciding when you want to change your circumstance or situation. Uti please have sense!

  9. Allow people do what makes them happy.

  10. This one is desperately trying to convince himself & ease his conscience that hes on the right path, and he doesnt need a woman or the marital status to fulfil him in life.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Initially when people called this guy gay, I didnt believe them, lately nobody had to even convince me again, it's so clear. Just live your life Uti, let those that want to marry, get married.
    Hes not even a sensible gay guy.

  12. Honestly, he just sounds bitter. Who did he propose to that rejected the proposal? If ppl want to divorce even in their 80s and 90s, which has happened, what business is it of yours?

    What in this life is permanent? Even the life, mouth and fingers you are using to share your opinions with the world will not exist one day. Everything in this world dies, even love dies, marriages die. That doesn't mean marriage is a scam, the journey could have taught you something valuable, produced wonderful children, uplifted you from poverty and the love that was shared in the moment of love could have healed souls full of pain. So there is benefit in the institution of marriage even if it ends in divorce.

  13. He's looking for excuse to why he doesnt want to get married

  14. Uti I wanted to insult you until I remembered that we all children in the eyes of Desmond Eliot.

  15. People like pastor E A Adeneye who have been married for over 50years, and still happy. Una no Dey see all those ones? Or people like Obama for over 20years or people like even George bush. Etc. dem no be human being? Marriage is an institution. Define scam 1st, and then check if u make sense. Me I am married and for close to 15years now. And I am happy. Everyday I pray for Jesus to still be in CHARGE AND CONTROL of my marriage. My dad did for over 40years till my mom passed 25years ago, and he didn’t remarry.
