    2. Those still hanging out late at night are trying for this kind of insecurity issues that are everywhere.
I used to take a long walk in the evening time as part of exercise.
As in, just be walking to no destination until I get tired and start going back.
      I did it without panic.
Now I can't do it anymore,it is not safe here.
I heard there was shooting at Ogba/Ikeja areas today.
God please provide solution to our leaders.

  4. Friday going well. We haven't had power supply in 4days. Rain fell and spoilt one thing inside our transformer according to Ikeja Electric people.
Thank God for Gen and resources to buy fuel. That's how I've been powering my freezer and pumping water.

I wonder when we'll eventually get it right in this country. It is well!

Some days I’m frustrated - not because I don’t like my hair, but because I don’t have the energy to pull up all the hair into a bun. The hair keeps swelling and increasing in volume and length so much so that my palms struggle to grab them.

Just had a fresh retie. #endofrant

    Life is just meaningless.
I don’t care about anything anymore
I wish life came with a reset button
Yeah reset it and have a choice to have never been born
You think I want to be here. You think i like to live like this
    I hate everything
I wish I can just go to sleep and not have to wake up again
I don’t really care any more

    There’s no point any way
We are all going to still die after all
Humanity is caused with damn bloody survival instincts
Its programmed in us just to keep
    this hopeless Cycle going
Make us believe we have to stay alive by all means
The foul instinct makes death feel like a loss to the dead
So it Makes us all afraid of death
But I’m not afraid of dying
Death is no loss to the dead
death IS A GAIn of freedom
    I’m infatuated with death.

    ‘unfortunately she lost her life’
how can you be sure its actually an unfortunate event for her
how can you be sure its actually a loss for her
what if she had just gained something better, freedom maybe
by giving up on this cursed life
    how about eternal silence. Solitude

really I hate that I’m here now
    I feel dejected
I should be able to have a choice
Whats the point to all the hassles
    Im fucking tired and pissed
    I just want to sleeeeeeeee[;p[]
I don’t want to have to be here
i don’t wAnt your help or assistance
    I don’t want anything
I don’t want this life and world anymore
i would rather it all just went away
so i wont have to deal with it
I don’t want to have to deal with anything anymore
    I’m so sad and sinkingggg
I don’t want anything at all
    Nothing

Just go away and allow me to sleep
because when I sleep I don’t feel any of these
    I don’t desire anything
I don’t want to feel this way any more
    I loathe your world
I don’t want to be part of it anymore
    Its not love I need
    its not companionship I need
    Its NOTHING I NEED.
    I’m overwhelmed with grief
A forlorn feeling of great lossssssss
    I have already lost all
though I have no desire to gain it back,
    None whatsoever

When in this era now ordinary legit call out on social media can hunt him down...

I think you can even get his contact and address from him and then verify.

    I just don't understand Doctors.

When you ask them a question about drugs or treatment being given to you, they give vague answer and get annoyed if you press on.

How can you tell a married woman to avoid sex till further notice?I ask why and you said you don't want me to spoil what you are working on.

What exactly are you working on?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Welcome to Nigeria, some of them behave like God. That's why I prefer a private hospital where you can talk base on your money.
A doctor nearly killed a lady in my school, the lady had to threaten the doctor if anything happens to her that her parent will come for him not knowing she's not to take certain injection due to her health history

      Delete
    2. You know better, he's your doctor. Why did you schedule an appointment with him? (It's a rhetorical question.) As a married woman, if he tells you to avoid sex for a certain period of time in order not to spoil what he's working on, then stay off sex. Like I asked earlier, you know why you scheduled an appointment in the first place. You even mentioned drugs and treatment. If you were in perfect health, he won't have instructed such. Be patient. Health is wealth. Good luck!

    5. That's crazy. I can't imagine visiting Nigerian doctors.

It's actually pride and lack of professionalism thay makes Nigerian doctors do things this way.

In the UK you dare not tell a patient this. If you are not careful you may get struck off the medical register.

All doctors must tell you why they are administering any medication...what the medication will do and what the side effects are.

      Delete
    6. Cassie, no doctor has any right to withhold any information from his patient. He should have answered her questions. If I was the one, I would have kept pressing till he answered. Why won't u answer me?

You people keep defending all these nonsense ppl do and that's why they will never change.

    7. @Felicity,its a private hospital.
@Cassie,I am in perfect health,it was check up and why can't he tell me what he is working on.
I had a miscarriage sept/Oct last yr and he said himself that it's one of those things that happens and can't be explained. the pregnancy just stop growing and I bled it all out without any evacuation although drugs was inserted in my vagina.I had my period immediately afterwards and he asked not to get pregnant till after three periods which we adhere to.
immediately I tested positive and pregnancy was declared viable,he placed me on injection.
I asked why cos I browse the injection and I saw that it was for cases that I don't have.two of my colleagues had miscarriages before having a live birth and they told me they were placed on that same injection cos of low cervix and weak cervix each but I had none.
The pregnancy has been smooth, yesterday being the last day of the injection, you asked to see me,,no scan was done ,you just ask me to lie down and press my stomach, you didnt check heartbeat (although I did a scan last month and the heartbeat is fine ).I asked if babies drink sperm and he was shocked that I was having sex,but you didnt tell me to stop?
@Pheonix,I was told to come for a urinary test this morning.i asked why, he said I ask too much questions.
@Eka,Thanks cos you understand what I am saying.
There isnt really much good hospitals here and he is one of the best in the state.
I thought about going to a government hospital but he is a consultant there and there is 90% chance that he will attend to me there.i got a contact at the teaching hospital, I called to ask about antenatal dates, I told the woman that my doctor placed me on injection, when I mentioned the injection, she said it shouldn't be if I am not having any complications. she ask about the hospital, as soon as I mentioned the doctor's name, she said oh,he is good so maybe he has his reason.
its been physically painful and emotionally draining to be on injection since Jan, my bum bum is hard and has lumps from the syringe,I just started taking it on my laps last month. I was excited that it is the last injection yesterday.Got home and just wanted to cry cos other than off and on pelvic pain and round ligament pain,I am having a stress less pregnancy period. I pay 3050 every Friday for the injection as its once a week.

  27. Had the most aweful experience today. Boarded Keke with to school, dropped my kids on the way before I got to my own junction to alight, so while the kids dropped the Keke man was just murmuring that they are wasting his time so I had to defend them by telly him to calm down let them drop properly before in a bid to hurry, they faa inside a gutter or motor will hit them
After they dropped a little argument ensued between us and he kept on cursing me out...madam shut up and all....me I just alighted at the next thing he did is what I am still trying to forget.
When. I dropped I moved forward and he just passed me and spat straight on...I met pheaped a lot of saliva straight on ....right on my face....by the side on my face....plenty salizva..
It happened in a flash and he zoomed off....I was shocked and dumbfounded. I just kept moving like nothing happened, brought out wipes from my bag and started cleabcle my face.....this was me ooo going to work in the morning.
After a split second it occurred to me that I should have boarded another Keke immediately to chase after him...but this though came a tad bit too late.
I passed through a police post on my way to work and another thought came to go and register a complaint in the police Station but because of the timing , work and all I brushed it aside.
I think I can still remember his face vividly fight now
I just got to work, spoke in tongues, holy spirit encourage me and help me overcome everything today...
It was awful...things we see in the road just to earn a living.
Thanks for sharing my experience with me. I feel better. Any thoughts?

    15. Something similar happened to me when I was around 7 or 8 years old (I'm female). My Mum left me and siblings in the car to grab something in either roadside or park or market in Aba. I rolled down the window at some point to peep out and some agbero spat heavy on my face. For no reason. It really traumatized me for a while. Very awful behavior, and an introduction to the rough world out there. It's lack of home training. This was in the nineties when Nigeria was normal. I cant imagine now. God bless mothers. .

    17. Awful experience but next time learn to ignore, this country is soooo hard and miserable that people are carrying out their frustration on anyone and everyone. For your sanity, you do not need to stoop to the level of a keke man by having an altercation infront of your kids. Clean up and pray. God will come through for you.

    18. I really feel your pain madam. Especially since you could do nothing about it. In developed climes that guy would have been prosecuted, worse if he was caught on camera or CCTV. Because what he did was very dangerous and exposed you to harm. Especially now with diseases flying around like corona virus. Madam may God comfort you. Try to put it off your mind and receive God's peace. The wickedness these days.........

  28. Wonderful evening. I like that BEP asking questions. Lying on my bed. Just finished eating yam porridge with suya garnished on it and plenty green. My face is getting beautiful.

Have a good night everyone. Before you sleep, pray to God Almighty for protection and coverage. The devil is really working overtime. Using his fork to pick bodies while they sleep

    1. Yes it definitely can be draining if you don’t have good support around you so you can rest/sleep well. I bet you if you turn back time and you no get kids, you won’t be saying this oo. Na prayer and fasting you go dey do for God to give you children. So be thankful please. And always take care of yourself and your mental health. Its very important. It’s worth it but it is a lot of work. Get a nanny if you can.
