Nigerian Forces Arrest Anwurum Eze Deputy Of Killed IPOB Commander Ikonso Don

Nigeria forces have apprehended Awurum Eze, the deputy to Ikonso Don, the late commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) controlled Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima, made the announcement in a statement Wednesday night.

The spokesman said Eze, 48, is a native of Umoneke Nta, Isiala-Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
On May 4, 2021, he escaped when operatives of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) stormed his village house in Isiala Mbano but he was eventually apprehended on May 12, in Aba, Abia State, after weeks of unrelenting follow-ups by operatives.

“Awurum Eze is one of the main sponsors of the numerous killings in Imo State and has been on the wanted list of security agents for more than 3 months. Many of the arrested IPOB/ESN terrorists had earlier mentioned him as their key sponsor, mastermind and Second in Command to late Ikonso.
According to them, amongst all their leaders in Imo State, only Ikonso and Awurum have direct communication link with Nnamdi Kanu. He can be seen in several photographs posing with the fugitive terrorist leader, Nnamdi Kanu,” the statement read.

An investigation to apprehend more ESN members across the South-East is ongoing.

  1. When will they arrest the evil masterminds and evil terrorists in the North and their sponsors? I guess there's no "intelligence" on them yet... Looks more like "intelligence" is selective 😏

    1. I won't commend the Military until they carry out this action against Boko Haran, bandits and, Fulanih erdsmen kidnappers and put a stop to all their atrocities.

  2. Nice job, this is what is actually called; no resting for the wicked

  3. Teejay, one of your leaders has been caught and he's prolly gonna be wasted. Keep being a terrorist. Your own day too shall come

  4. OK. Nice. See old man leading foolish people

  5. Nigerian government should leave innocent people alone and go find Shekau. If they put half the effort they put in harassing Igbo people into chasing fulani herdsmen and bandits, Nigeria wouldn't be in such a mess.
How many killer herdsmen have they arrested? Bunch of cockroaches.

alqaeda, isis, boko haram commanders living the life even in Niger which is 2hours from Abuja......🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh naija!

  7. I honestly find this disturbing and hard to believe, it’s only in Nigeria they turn agitators to criminals 🙄.Liz

  8. Second in command indeed. Nigerian army is a disgrace.
Fulani terrorists go all around the country killing, maiming, and raping women and children and yet no arrest. Now, they go and arrest an innocent man and aren't even ashamed of themselves. Shame.

  9. His cup has finally be filled up.

  10. Useless, shameless arm force who hunt innocent people seeking for their independence but keep mute to the real killers and real terrorists like bandits, bokoharam and ISIS raving the north over a decade now, they should put half of the effort they put in the eastern agitators on their fulani herdsmen and bokoharam brothers coa they're the real killers

  11. Nigerian government hardly learn and will never learn. Arresting anyone will never stop the struggle or remedy the mess they put themselves into. We are Biafrans we don't retreat nor surrender before our enemies. That's our heritage and whom we are. It's just a matter of time and that time will inevitably come.

  12. I Laugh in swahili...
Ikwerre people say, dog dey chop shit, goat teeth dey rotten.

  13. My own to the federal govt is; use the same pot you use to cook the Chameleon to cook the lizard.

  14. How Nigerian Army become proactive when it has to do with insecurity in the East or South is amazing; their intelligence suddenly took the least position when it has to do with the insecurity in the North. Tueeh!

  15. Odikwaegwu o!! Nigeria Nigeria!!!
