Pastor Chris Okotie Says Major Crisis Imminent In Nigeria

Rev. Chris Okotie, the Shepherd Superintendent of the Household of God Church, has warned that a major crisis is imminent in Nigeria.

The cleric, who is a former presidential candidate, said this in a statement on Wednesday, maintaining that the forces holding the country hostage would be defeated in the impending explosion.

After the crisis, according to him, Nigeria would experience a rebirth.

The cleric’s statement was in reaction to an earlier one by Pastor Bosun Emmanuel, a representative of the Nigeria Christian Elders Forum, NCEF, concerning the present crisis.

“The message from Bosun Emmanuel is arrant heterodoxy deriving from abysmal ignorance of sound biblical interpretation of visions and revelations,” Okotie said, adding, “Nigeria is at the cusp of a major crisis which is a precursor to its rebirth.”

“Pristine forces which have been a perennial impediment to the fulfilment of Nigeria’s prophetic destiny are about to be pulverized.”

The cleric listed factors such as the current state of the country’s economy, corruption and endemic poverty as the root causes of its insecurity.

Okotie backed the call for restructuring, noting that it is one of the key solutions to the country’s numerous challenges.

He warned that instability will continue in the country unless the constitution is changed to reflect national diversity.

Many notable individuals and groups have in recent weeks intensified the call for the restructuring of the country.

The call has recently gained the support of Southern Governors, Southwest leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, among others. Many Nigerians believe that the country would disintegrate if not restructured.

  2. This message has been revealed to several Christians.

As a people, we need to be more prayerful this period. If the Lord does not show mercy, this country may be all up in flames, in no time.

  3. Mtscheeeeeeewwwwww. Tell us what we don't already know. Where you dey since? Where una dey since wey dem don dey kill kill for southern Kaduna and other places?

Abeg when Bishop Kukah or Apostle Suleiman (and I don't even like Suleiman o but he's been consistent in his constant criticism of this demonic government from day 1) speaks, let us know. All the others (save a few) have been compromised. A pastor/prophet is not necessarily a "man of God" in Nigeria.
