Spontaneous Friday Post......

 #fridayyaaay #ekaro #namaste #newday #weekend #jollyjolly

Good Morning Everyone.....

I am still recovering from the COVID 19 Jab....... This just makes me wonder how people who had covid felt and what they went through....

My recovery is permanent in Jesus name....

Big brother Naija season five reunion started yesterday and that is what the next post is all about...If you watched it as well then wait for the post. If you didn't, wait as well.

I am supposed to gift some people cash on this Blog courtesy of BV Jeweluchi Choclat Noir.... Martins aboy's son and Blog PA are both recipients and the last 10k needs an owner which will/might be picked from this post.

Thanks once again Choc noir and may God see you through as your family prepares to bury your Dad.

Have a beautiful day and stay out of wahala oh.

Kisses 😍😍

  1. A knowledge Of Relationship!!
    Ephesians 1:16-17.

    Excerpts!!

"Just because you've been a Christian for a long time doesn't necessarily mean you'd be effective for God, and in the things of God"

"It takes more than singing nicely, praising God joyfully, and even preaching to be effective for Christ and for the Kingdom; you have to know Him in a very personal way"

"Without this type of knowledge, you'll be a religious Christian, doing things religiously, without having a real relationship with God"

    Confession!!

Dear Father, thank you for giving me the Spirit of wisdom - insight into realities - and revelation in the knowledge of you, absolute knowledge that comes through revelation and relationship. Through my relationship and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, grace and peace are multiplied in my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  2. If your major concern is how to become the latest Apostle,Revivalist, or MOG in town, Ma/Sir you still have a problem . What's the legacy you leave behind after now? because surely another famous MOG,Apostle etc would surely rise .
Make being in the father's will your concern and impacting lives your aim....that's how you build a legacy that outlives you!!(a mic won't give you a legacy, your life will).

  3. LOVING PEOPLE YOU DONT LIKE

“His…plan has always been to adopt us into his…family.” Ephesians 1:5 TLB

In the Bible God commands us to love one another. Interestingly, He doesn’t command us to like one another. And that’s a good thing because you can love someone and not like certain things about them. Paul wrote, “We are his workmanship” (Ephesians 2:10). The Bible says God works through different people in different ways (see 1 Corinthians 12:6). He uses all kinds of people, including the ones we may not like or want to work with. “A spiritual gift is given to each of us” (1 Corinthians 12:7 NLT), and it’s up to us to discover and develop it. “Christ gave those gifts to prepare God’s holy people for the work of serving” (Ephesians 4:12 NCV). Stop and look around you today. Have you ever seen so many broken hearts, broken homes, broken dreams, and broken lives? And if we who claim to be followers of Christ do our job right, they will find help and healing. God uses us to minister to one another, love one another, honour one another, and carry one another’s burdens. When you think about it, the church is God’s treatment centre for everything that ails us. And if you keep that in mind, it will help you to love and get along with people you don’t necessarily like.

  5. DO IT!
Enough of the writing of visions,
goals, dreams and ambitions without making conscious effort towards achievement.
    It is time for action!
Enough of the prayer and fasting, that plan has stayed long in that book.
    It is time for action!
What is keeping you from taking action?
    What is holding you back?
    What are you afraid of?
    It is time for action!
    God is banking on you,
The sons of men are waiting for you,
Your real you is crying out,
    It is time for action!
    Have your hand found purpose?
Have you Prayed and planned? Then do it!
Do it with everything you've got because....... Time wait for no man!

  8. Always be conscious of what you say publicly among strangers. DSS and Police officers are now disguising as passengers and mini bus drivers picking up passengers. What they do is that, when you enter the mini bus they are driving or they are in, you will see two men or sometimes a woman among them arguing about the Nigerian state. All they want you to do is to join the conversation. Sometimes they will bring the issues of unknown gun men, ESN or even IPOB praising their activities just to make you think they love what they are doing. Once you join the conversation in support of their stand, you are good as gone.

Sometimes, they will talk about how bad Buhari is and the Twitter ban etc. Once you join them and insult Mr President or say anything unpatriotic, your next name will be sorry.

This was how few persons were arrested early this week here in Port Harcourt. This has been going on in the Eastern part of the country. Now they are extending it all over the southern states.

    Be Guided.

  9. Thank you Lord for the miracle power in Your name that has been sustaining. Today the Lord will arise and disorganise and frustrate all satanic decisions taken in any evil covens, altars, temple, organisation, marine kingdom in the hour of the night against your destiny in Jesus name.

The power of God shall manifest His name in your life where it matters in Jesus name. Your destiny will move forward with signs and wonders in Jesus name. We shall not miss the rapture in Jesus mighty name...Amen.

  17. Fam, I really need advice.
How do I negotiate a salary for a senior position with no idea what the salary range is even though I have gone online.
Unfortunately, I dont know anyone in that industry.

And I really dont want to shoot myself in the foot.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You should have mentioned the industry and job position so that bvs who know will tell you. We have hundreds of people from different fields who read this blog

      Delete
    2. You can check glassjobs with the name of the company. It gives you a fair idea of what they offer. Also mention the industry as well.

So you want to negotiate salary. Please don't mention what you are currently earning. This is where you sell yourself based on skills, experience and attitude link it to the vision and mission of the company. Tell them unfortunately you like not to share the details of your salary, you can ask them what the range of the salary is. Make sure to ask if it is gross or net. Ask for other perks on the job too.

Sometimes the benefits are more attractive than the salary. But in all rate yourself based on the position you want to occupy and compare with other industries and decide what range of salary is best for you. Good luck

    3. Phoenix, kudos. You always try a lot with responding to career related questions and other questions too.

    4. Anonymous 9.36 Thanks for the compliment...

Also I want to add: The site name is Glassdoor not Glassjobs that was an oversight...Do you know a number of recruiters or have HR friends? You can ask them and they can also help in giving you the salary range for that position in the industry..I wish you the very best...

      Delete
    5. Trust me Phoenix, I've tried this before, e doesn't work most times. You need to see the way those employers will be forcing and intimidating you to say your previous/present salary. The two times I stood my ground, I didn't get the job. Don't worry, I did well in the interview. Or is it the ones that'll call you for the second stage of interview a day before, you tell them you're not in town, and they say that's it. My dear this country, nonsense prevails.

      Delete
    6. Anonymous 10: 59 In life, you cannot win all battles and most times, you have to let go.Even if they ask for your previous or present salary..Don't entirely reveal everything still share a salary based on how you rate yourself...I am sorry about that and I understand the ''Nigerian factor'' but know that better jobs and days are ahead!

      Delete
    7. I get your point, but not disclosing your salary could not have been the only reason you didn't get the job.

      Delete
    8. Worst case, they would make you an offer based on what they can pay, which you could then decline.

      Delete
    9. Anon, you can tell them your present salary. If they offer you what does not go down well with you, stand your ground and tell them the amount you want them to pay you. When I was working for companies back then, I used to to tell them that moving up in my career, I have set goals which includes earnings too. I got the jobs most times.
      Best of luck to you.

Painful reading about the kidnapping of FGC girls in Kebbi. The monster north created will finally consume them or it has consumed them because there is nothing they can do.

They were supporting books and now they don't mouth to shout again. All who have children in boarding schools in the north, what are you waiting for. Day schools are not spared.

Make the governors continuing pursuing rats in the bush as their homes are burning.

Do I pity them NO. That was how port Harcourt was with kidnapping whites now no whites, dog eats dog. They have graduated to cultism, ritualists etc.

When you sign deals with the devil this is what you get.

Now in IMO unknown gunmen. Make una continue, it will consume you all.

Hmmm. I don't know how this woman would cope. Yesterday, I learned she is a widow and the boy was 15 years old and her only son. The lady who is currently pregnant wasn't arrested. The child's mom said she doesn't want any case. The rumour is that it was a spiritual attack and the pregnant woman was a tool used by her own mother-in-law. The whole thing is just messy. My take is, the child can't be killed twice.

    1. Belated happy birthday to your son Martin's a father, may he shine brighter than the star.
Jeweluchi choc noir God bless you and your family and I'm still waiting for your naming ceremony jollof rice and mineral.
Jeweluchi Stella sorry and get well soon.

Shopping these days is a nightmare and you have to be sane enough to go to the market else, you might end up quarrelling with the traders like I did because of the hike which although is no fault of theirs. I literally went home and cried as if I have misplaced my money until I started doing calculation that is when I knew our government has let us down, where do we go from here?

  51. Good morning everyone. I have an interview(online test) by 12:00pm and I’m just so nervous. Been practicing GMAT questions and my head wants to explode. Oluwa, please grant me this last wish, I need a job. How can a first class graduate be hunting for job aggressively like this?

    4. Don't worry, God will go with you, I wish you great success in Jesus name, Amen.

I understand how you feel as I also graduated with a first class and I remember how embarrassed I used to feel being home with no job forthcoming while all my friends had jobs. But you know? Delay is never denial and God makes all things beautiful in His time, I can't thank Him enough for where He's brought me to. Not by power or might, but His grace.

It’s exactly 3years today I miscarried a 6months pregnancy, been ttc since then,I went for medical checkup and was diagnosed with uterine synechae.I have never done an abortion all my life,I kept myself just to avoid fertility issues in marriage but here I am being faced with my fears. The doctor cancelled the operation due to covid19, and the high cost this period since hubby can’t afford it now. We have been making efforts to adopt a baby as a gift for our 5th anniversary by December but it seems almost impossible. Feeling so down right now but at the same time, am still trying to count my blessings. All I need is a miracle from God
