Actor Yomi Fabiyi's New Movie ' Oko Iyabo' Sets Tongues Wagging And Tempers Flying...

Yoruba Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has reportedly released a new movie titled 'Oko Iyabo' that is causing brouhaha all over.

The Union body TAMPAN has also reportedly invited him for a meeting this week and he is asked to attend the meeting with a copy of the movie which is reportedly centered around the Baba IjeshaGATE gate.

The actor was also called out by some Notable Yorubawood actors for shooting the movie.

Someone mailed me saying ''Stella don't mind these Yoruba actors and actresses, if a Hollywood producer came and shot this movie, they will all run to sew eye catching outfits and run to the cinema to watch. Don't support them because when they will settle you will be left hanging''.

I am yet to see what this movie is about but i have seen all the reactions.if you saw the movie before Yomi allegedly pulled it down from YouTube, can you explain what the content is and why it has generated so much call out...

  1. But the matter is still in court. Why shoot film in that regard? I didn't know what the movie entails, but again I want to ask my learned friends here, wouldn't that be a pre-empt of the matter in court? I stand to be corrected.

    7. Is Iyabo the only Iyabo in Yoruba land Eka? Talk intelligently ma! He didn't add surname. It's just a written script.

The only people that can punish him is that their union not court.

I think he indirectly wanted people to know how some of their actresses get fame & money (based on the cut & join video I saw on his page).

He was wrong on this sha. A minor was defiled. His timing and outbursts makes him a huge suspect on such issues.

  2. This Yomi Fabiyi is an uneducated fool.

Imagine making a movie that portrays the victim as a Slut and the actual baba Ijesha as the victim. God will punish him and all those cringe worthy actors and actresses he casted

Useless man. We reported the movie on YouTube and it's been taken down. I have totally cancelled yoruba movies ( won't rate dem high enough to call them nollywood movies) since it's like most of them, both young and old are all senseless

    1. He's really low to produce that movie. Show casing the culprit as the victim. How do this people think?

  3. Why are people angry now? Let them continue to hail him, activist of our time. They were thanking him for being supportive. Meanwhile, this mad man had his own agenda all the while, to profit and get richer. He was doing 'oniduro' for financial gains.

They said we should cancel him but how do you cancel someone you never used to watch his movies?

    2. I have never finished a movie with him in it not to talk of as the central character. He just gives this vibe of someone with a noxious spirit. I tried to watch a movie with him as a father looking for his son or something and I couldn't go past four minutes and the same for people I know. How do you cancel someone that your instinct has thoroughly rejected and whose acting skills are valued in the negative.

Even before he married for British papers, the guy just no make am. Someone that awon aye has cancelled, na YouTube e go hard?

  4. i understand the movie is about the current allegations regarding Baba Ijesha's behaviour towards a minor. The storyline however potrays the minor as an aspiring ashawoooo who lures/seduces men from primary school as she practises and hones her future ambitions skills.

    1. He even get liver name am "oko iyabo". Yomi diaper is a compound f**l and their tampan woreva is worse.

Let nobody stop him from releasing the movie o so that people like Iyabo Ojo can continue making his life miserable since he has refused to grow sense. Prison just dey wink give yomi but his village people have blocked his ears. If the molested child were his or Jide Kosoko's, would he shoot a movie like that? Wicked people. Shame on all those who donated money to the "free baba ijesha" cause. Shame!!! Na yomi dey flex the money now and if this development wasn't so annoying, it would have been very funny. Shameless lot.

    2. @amebonawork. Pls place jide kosoko and yomi fabiyi's photos side by side, enlarge them and look at it for good two minutes.
Come back and tell me what you noticed.

I'll be back to reply you.

    3. Shame on those who contributed money for this nonsense, bunch of sick people. Yomi had a motive all along, to cash out big time. Yomi you are an idiot, a complete nonetity with your wishy washy movie.

How do you people even shoot movies within a week or 2? No wonder you guys churn out horrible movies with no head or tail.

    5. If it is to gather to FRUSTRATE non member younger actors or to weep for rapists, these agbayas will mark register but stopping their members from acting in a movie that monetizes the pain of a child, they are no where to be found. Very useless set of people. Let me start being more selective about how I use my eyes.

    1. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ.

Nigerian men that can say a 4 year old girl seduced them. Hian! Was it not on this ogbonge blog that one woman sent a chronicle that her husband-the baby's father puts his d*ck in the baby's mouth to suck? The efulefu said "it turns him on" or something like that. She even said she'd caught and warned him times before but he didn't stop. The stupid woman was still with him o asking for advice. Now imagine what he would do to that child at 4 or a neighbour's pre-teen daughter. Oh-ho!

Then "their" fellow Nigerians will tell the world that it's a "set up". Some will even ask the woman why she left a 6 month old baby in the bedroom alone with her biological father. These people are wacko; na cloth cover dem o.

    2. Anon 10:38, this particular story from a Bv always gives me chills. This one that the Bv had gone silent, I'm sure she is still with the useless man. I truly feel for the poor child. By now, the man would have started fingering her.

  7. A case is in court and you have the effontery of twisting the story by using their real names.Portraying the victim as a lover of the accused. This yomi's brain is leaking. He didn't bring it down,we reported the movie till youtube pull it down. How can one be so cruel, wicked and lack empathy.

I hope those saying have a friend like yomi can see that he is doing more harm to ijesha than good.Very useless bumbum nitwit.

    1. That's the level of moral decadency that has eaten deep into our nation's fabrics. The Nigerian child is an endangered specie at home, at school, online, everywhere. Would any sane person be able to muster enough courage or mental strength to even write such a shitty, manipulative, and demeaning script outside of Nigeria? Not even in neighbouring Ghana I daresay. Our collective morals as a people is at its lowest low. Such a shame๐Ÿ˜ง. Shame on them all! Shame!!

  8. I think youtube pulled it down because it was reported severally. I personally reported it as well. Apparently it depicts baba ijesha as being on a "relationship" with the 14 year old girl and says that princess set him up!

  9. Everytime I read what goes on in Nigeria.. I shudder! How can one insinuate that a minor is the reason for her being raped? What society encourages that and does nothing about it, to the extent that an adult male will portray such in a movie...what a dark country...I feel physically sick!!

  10. He used their real names in the movie? This yomi is crazy, now see why iyabo was always calling him out? This man is senseless.. how'd you portray a teenager as a prostitute? This is a reflection of what had been happening in that industry, they sleep with each other & see nothing wrong in what baba ijesha did.. the yeye elders of the stupid association are just doing this to avoid Nigerians from calling them out. They're all birds of the same feather. Shame on all of them.
Imagine saying baba ijesha was sent up..if there was no tangible evidence, they would've called princess all sorts of names.. even in the face of evidence, they're still saying it is a setup, how daft & insensitive can these people be?

    2. What of Olofa Ina that said it is a normal thing for the male actors to sexually feast on the females? That he doesn't know any female actor that hasn't had to go through being had to get ahead? A grandfather to some very unlucky souls weeping over Baba Ijesha facing his recompense.

He even turned to the female journalist interviewing him and said didn't she have to sleep with her superiors to be given a camera to do her job? In 2021 o! You can imagine the dirty and reckless life he must have lived in his youth. These are the kinds of beasts that would later be begging for money for one ailment or the other. I've learned my lesson. Since he and his family sleep around for jobs, let him also sleep or ask his daughters to do the sleeping around whenever they go begging Nigerians for money.

  13. Until we begin to view an injustice to one as injustice to all, this nation will not move forward. Until we remove our sentimental lenses when viewing or "judging" an issue (whether we are directly affected or not), evildoers will continue to be applauded or walk free. God bless everyone who has continued to call this what it is without mincing words on this blog and on all platforms. May you never experience a baba Ijesha or a yomi fabiyi in your lives.

As for those still chanting "set-up" upandan because neither the girl nor Princess is your relative, you all will reap the fruits of the damage you've caused that little girl, her family and all others like her. And to anyone that will purchase/download that abomination that yomi called a movie to watch, just know that you are buying/downloading the wrath of the living God into your lives except baba ijesha was wrongly accused by Princess.

Its beyond baffling, this is pure foolishness murdering his already deflated EGO.

All I can say is “Jesus take the wheel” let justice be served.

In the meantime TAMPAN shouldn’t forget to also suspend him just as Iyabo was initially suspended.

  17. I'm tired of naija sha. Too many wicked people and this issue of abuse keeps happening. You can't even get proper legislation because the legislature can't agree on the age of consent. Most due to their selfish desires to defile young children under the pretense of religion will kick against it because Mohammed said a 7 year old menstruating should go to her husband's house before her next period. I've been particularly disappointed in Yorubas support for Yomi and Baba Ijesha, despite being the most educated Nigerians, it's like their senses flew away. I'm Yoruba but I'm ashamed, what is bad is bad no need to paraphrase it. Even if Iyabo is a confirmed Olosho and you have her receipts, you are forgetting she's an adult and fully entitled to what she's doing with her body. A 14 year old girl has no right to consent and even if she jumped on baba Ijesha and "seduced" him, it's still statutory rape because her consent doesn't matter and can't be counted as consent. Before we look to the government, we need to tell ourselves the whole truth and call out what is bad.

  18. Shame on the evil old cohorts of Yomi Fabiyi called TAMPAN.

Yomi Fabiyi is a serial Rapist, paedophile and serial
sexual offender . This level of bullying, intimidation, harrasment and constant verbal assault against minors and women should no longer be tolerated.

Lagos Government, Nigerian Government please take action and ensure that Yomi Fabiyi is arrested as a matter of emergency. And all those evil old cargos of Tampan aiding and abetting evil deeds against minors. Enough is Enough. Let this be a lesson to all other Rapists at large in Nigeria.
