ReplyDeleteStella' please it was a lymphoma that's blood cell carcinoma and not 'throat cancer'. The family had their reasons for putting out the official info announcing his death. Those two cancers are totally different in aetiology and risk factors. Thanks

I have cried my eyes out this morning.
I don't know him personally, but the tributes coming in are so so good and beautiful to read.
According to his friends, he doesn't smoke, womanise or drink. Infact, they nicknamed him Mr maltina because that is what he always drink. And he is a very religious man...
So obviously the throat cancer didn't come from the habits listed above.
The videos were sad to watch.
This life is truly nothing. Imagine being suspended in the air and can see a mother hen having like millions of chickens, running, playing around on a very big field below and the chicken keeps disappearing one after the other while some little ones are appearing at the same time. That's the way I view this life. Anybody can go at anytime.
My prayer is we should live long to eat the fruits of our labour and at the end make it to heaven because that is the ultimate goal.

DeleteThe type of Non hodgkin's lymphoma he died from is rare with a few documented cases yet. He had lymphadenopathy in the neck which is a common symptom of cancers, it doesn't mean it was throat cancer. Educate yourself Stella. Stop peddling false information about someone's death.
