President Buhari Orders Nigerian Military To Respond To Bandits In A Language They Understand

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday condemned repeated bandit killings in Zamfara and Kaduna States, urging the nation’s military to respond to the worrying situation in a language that the bandits understand.

The President notes that the military and other security agencies are now working on new methods and policies that are yielding good results in many of the troubled parts of the country and calls for a crushing response to the killing of innocent citizens in the rural communities.

He also avers that the nation, its military and the entire population needs to summon the courage required to defeat the bandits and terrorists.
President Buhari condemns some politicians making utterances on security, merely seeking applause, advising them to join the ongoing genuine efforts aimed at finding lasting solutions to the challenges confronting the nation.

He expresses the nation’s sorrow over the loss of lives, urging security agencies to do everything possible to prevent the recurrence of attacks with impunity.

  1. Until I see actions that's when I will believe him. This Government is a pure joke. They are playing with our intelligence, but one day it shall be a history.

  4. Yeah...by granting them amnesty and paying them allowance...stories that touch!

Something they could have done earlier but they were busy petting them. Now it has gotten out of hand, it's now "in the language they understand".🙄

Meanwhile in the East, youths going about their legitimate biz are being killed with fictitious claims.

Every dog has its day and it will end...one way or the other.

  5. Let's try to think positive about this one and pray it yields results bcos our country is gradually becoming a home to all sorts of attrocities.

  6. The pathetic security situation in the country is largely the handiwork of the ruling class. They know exactly what to do if they are sincere enough in the fight against banditry, kidnapping and the likes 😏
