    1. Yes I have encountered someone that changed my life in the person of STELLA DIMOKO KORKUS a.k.a JEWELUCHI. During the time that I was depressed, suicidal ,I was an undergraduate that was about to drop out of school, I was relieved of my duties at work and I became jobless, I lost my husband to be then. It was during this time that I discovered Stella's blog and I read one of the advice she gave to a blog visitor and that changed alot about me from that day till now. I will write my story to you one day as a chronicle of hope. THANK YOU STELLA.

    1. Ok so I had this top shot who works with nnpc contact on my phone let's call him Jay, I met him way back when we went to sell tickets for a charity event.

      In 2016, a friend asked me to send my account details to find me something, I mistakenly sent the text to Jay and he called immediately asking if he asked me to send it coz we've not spoken for more than 5years, I told him it was a mistake so he asked what I needed money for, told him I wanted to buy equipment 4 the shop I rented and he asked me how much do I need to start I told him if I see 2-300k I'll be happy, this angel in human form sent me 400k, then 100k few weeks later due to a post I made on facebook.. sadly we were communicating till last year he stopped replying text & his phone switched off, only to see Rip on his wall... See I cried and couldn't eat for days.. he didn't ask to sleep with me before sowing half a million into my life, even the person I originally wanted to send my details never sent me any money till date...

      OGA J, may your soul continue to rest in peace.. Amen

  3. Had a friend Amaka that changed my life and perspective about life. She was very very outgoing and I was the reserved type. She was a socialite that introduced me to so many clients to cook and do interior business with. Sad She died in a very mysterious way that shook me to my bones. God continue to rest her soul.

  4. Yes,
    I met Jesus. Right in my room. He asked me three questions;
    The last one got me thinking and made me give my life to him. And that was;
    supposing you die now?
    My life has been more than two decades of life in abundance. I only wish I met him earlier.
    I live everyday to fulfil the reason for which he took hold of me.

  9. After years of being taunt no direction,no leadership I was just me! Living luxurious life sometimes, Rich sometimes,super rich sometimes,broke sometimes really really broke sometimes..but somehow my mum and siblings kept me sane. Recently I noticed how much my mum loves God Almighty it's been like that since childhood all her hope and faith on God I started a relationship with this God and suddenly I have inner peace like I can dictate what I want to happen in my physical and spiritual life. I'm not close to my dreams but with God all things are possible.

  10. A classmate, she is now a lecturer in UK, youngest lecturer. During nysc, she laid bare her plans, I was aloof, I wanted OICs...lol.. we lost contact. Last xmas, guess who appeared! She knocked me back into academics, it's been a while I left books but damn, I'm in. all I needed was a light bulb moment through someone.

  11. I had a life changing encounter.

    After my Uni, I was waiting for NYSC call-up. I decided instead of sitting at home, I'd rather join my uncle in his business. The business was very demanding and time consuming. I had little time to myself. I was not paid as per family things but I saw huge money coming in and going out.

    I sat down and thought to myself, why not be paying yourself salary so when you are done here, you have something to fall back on.

    That was how I started paying in money to my account anytime I went to the bank because I had full access to all the money and I mostly go the the bank

    Lo and behold, I was busted. I thought the whole money belonged to my uncle. He could not pay up so many debts as he got goods on credit.

    Anyway, I actually gave up myself with my account balance. It was so shameful. I thank God he is family. I ran back to school as I could not bear to face my family.

    Thankfully, that event changed me. If you like let your room be full of cash and gold, I will not be moved. Over the years, my family still loves me and I am the most trusted person to save money with.

    Pheew..what a life!

    3. I love you already. You leaned from your mistake and made a full 360 from the shame to the great person who is able to speak of it now as the past. Commendable.

  12. At arround 5:30am on my way to work,some years ago, My husband was with me as we looked for Okada. I noticed that there were 2 people at the junction and someone lying down at the feet of one of them. The person looked dead. The other person, a female seemed to be asking for help. As we moved closer to the junction, no one cared to ask them anything. People were rushing to work while some other people looked at them briefly and also walked away. When we got closer to them, i pleaded with my spouse to let us ask them what the issue was. They explained that they needed help to get to the hospital. The person lying on the road was a guy and was almost dead. We tried to get help from cars and okada driving by but they refused because they feared the guy could die anytime soon. I told my husband to please hurry back home to get my car so that we could take the guy to hospital. After some brief deliberation, he agreed. These people doubted us because we trekked to the junction. I have never driven to work because of traffic. I did not blame them. My husband got home, tried to bring his car but his car refused to start. He said he struggled with it until he finally decided to bring my own car. While waiting for my husband, the guy lying on the road was already stretching. I was scared but I just started praying and speaking in tongue. Before that day, i have never spoken in tongue and after that day, I have not. My husband came and we took the guy to the hospital. Thankfully, he was attended to immediately as emergency. I had wanted to go back to the hospital to check if the guy made it but changed my mind as we had no details about him nor the 2 individuals that were with him. I was restless for some time but forgot about the event after a while. About one year after, my husband came in with a stranger to greet me. He told the stranger, "here she is". "Thank you for saving my life ma" were the words I heard. The stranger was the guy we took to the hospital. I cried and my husband watched as he told us everything. He said his relatives told about us and he had been looking for us for over a year to say thank you. The only description he got was that we were couple driving a particular brand of car. The guy asked every okada rider and kept asking till someone said he should try our house and ask....This event changed my life about prayers and people. It is the person whom God has directed to help you that will help you. I saw people rushing to to pray that morning but never cared to help and I also saw some other people returning from vigil....The guy explained that his relatives doubted we were going to help because we were speaking yoruba. Remember, before ethnicity, religion, status....We are first human.

  13. I was going through a tough time after school. I avoided friends and former school mates. In my state of depression, I was angry that my very good friend, Tee, didn't reach out. Kept to myself, until I stumbled upon a Facebook post, mourning his death on his post-humous birthday. I was shocked! My friend died months before then, after battling leg pain - and I never knew. I was angry at a sick, dying and eventually - dead person! I felt terrible.

    Had to contact two of his closest friends. It pained me o, chai. Tee was a promising guy, very intelligent and supportive. He was a really good friend with a very good heart. He had just gotten a high-paying job when he started complaining of leg pain. What pained me most was that I wasn't there for my friend. Rather, I was too self-absorbed in my own problems to check up on other people. I cried ehn.

    Now, if I want to hear from someone, I contact them immediately. I don't wait for them to reach out first.
