MUST READ
SPIRITUAL BANKING

Spiritual banking is the Christianized concept of Karma. Karma is of Hindu and Buddhist religion, while spiritual banking of Christian religion.

The authority which made provision for this rule is Galatians chapter 6. The whole chapter explains the need to do good and be good at all time. As can be seen in verse 7-9 as quoted below:

“7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature [1] will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

The above verses are self explanatory, one can deduce that doing good and living right would bring blessings your way, while being evil and doing wrong would cause you destruction. For whatever one sow (into the spiritual bank) such would the person reap (cash out).

If you understand how ‘normal’ bank works, you’ll know that when you put money there, it yield interest for you, and when you decide to withdraw, you’ll be richer. That’s the same way it works in spiritual bank. Whatever you sew into the bank attract interest, whether good or bad, you’ll reap bountifully. It can be either bountiful positive yield or bountiful negative yield. The choice is yours to make. (I said ‘normal’ banks, not Nigerian banks. Those ones are not normal)

Some examples of how this banking system works are-

You give help to someone in need, that week you got a major contract you have been hoping for...

you paid offering in church only to get home and remember a large sum of money you hid somewhere in your home and have forgotten about it...

You defrauded a person for some money, fell ill the next day and spent double the amount you got from the scam to treat the sickness.....

Now, the fact that you help someone with a certain amount of money doesn’t mean you’ll get money in return too, or because you cheat someone, someone will also cheat you, No, in spiritual banking, your yield (cash out) come in various forms and ways.. for example, you might reap good health and long life for sowing a seed of money into someone life, and you can reap sickness or life difficulty because you deceived and cheated someone.

In summary, doing good attract other good things into your life while doing evil will attract destruction and evils to one’s life. Don’t be deceived by what you see, when you see an evil person living like everything is perfect it’s all smoke screen. Smoke and mirrors stuff. They’re concealing the true position of things. It will end in premium tears for you if and when you decide to tow their part.

It’s good to be good at all times.

from BV Dante..

OMG...... this is deep!!!

TEEJAYS CORNER

My neighbor's daughters have been solely responsible for the rent and upkeep of their parents since they moved to this neighborhood. How did I get to know? I usually hear them say so every time there's a payment bill/rent to be paid. They call their daughter and inform her. The aged parents are no longer strong enough to work or oversee a business so, they rely on their children for survival . We hardly see their sons on a regular basis like we do their daughters but they pay their parents a visit once in a while.

During weekends, these ladies come or send someone to bring frozen chicken/fish and some money to their parents for their feeding for that week.

The role and importance of women in a family can't be overemphasized. They are not just home builders, most importantly, they keep the home and the sustainability of their family is on them.

I remember when things took a nosedive for me, my other brothers were struggling with their various family responsibilities, it was my sisters that were responsible for my parents.....all the bills. They even extended their assistance to us, I mean the guys until things got stabilized. Till date, my younger sister never stops telling me jokingly how I'm indebted to her but that she won't ask for it just now but on my wedding day. She says she’ll pick up her payment while I'm dancing and being sprayed money. We always laugh over it.

One thing mom kept asking me then was, "What if she hadn't gotten female children? What if she had just male children? Is this how she would have suffered and even retired to the village?" Those words really touched me and made me understand the very reason no one should ever attack or disrespect a woman that is yet to have a male child/children or one that is done with child bearing and has just female children.

Times have changed.

Women are doing great, doing exploits and should be encouraged and appreciated. To me, I’ll say tradition about inheritance made us believe and prioritize male children over the females. Today, things happening around us are making us see the advantage/importance/usefulness of a girl child. Don't get it twisted, I mean no disrespect to the male folks, but truth be told, when the guys are busy with their wives/kids, it's the women(sisters) even in marriage, that still look out for our parents. They are the ones that spend most of their time at the hospital with their sick parents for days, weeks, months when the male folks are busy with work and business.

I want to ask, with all this, should a husband be angry when his expectation of a male child fails?

Finally, men should endeavour to spend quality time and give their aged parents attention/care and pick up the responsibilities while the women's contribution should be an added bonus.

One of the disadvantages of a woman shouldering the responsibilities of our aged parents alone is that, sometimes it makes some of them to do things they shouldn't have done just to get this money to help out in the family front.

Kudos to all the responsible men doing great and looking over their parents.

May God bless the women for their sacrifices and love for their families.

Hmmmm so what will those without female kids do? na wah, this life no balance at all!!!

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD:

I am currently having allergic reaction to God knows what. My face is so swollen and I can hardly see, to make matters worse my glasses broke yesterday so my vision is blurry. The pain has been crazy.

I am suspecting a new brand of white chocolate chips cookies I just discovered. I ate two whole packs. I don’t really like chocolate but this one had me hooked.

This is my first allergic reaction. I got antihistamine injections to help, one of the injections was so painful, I was rolling around in pains.

I am supposed to try a little piece of the cookie to be sure it’s the culprit but my fear of injections is crazy. It used to take at least two adults to hold me down while I scream in pain and for several minutes, I would feel pain in my leg and back if I am injected in my bum. I am better now nobody needs to hold me down but it’s still extremely painful.

I would rather forgo the cookies than put myself in a situation where I would have to take injections. I have got a whole brood to take care of. I can’t afford to breakdown.

You need to eat it again to be certain it caused your reaction, what you have done is assume!

PIMKYS CORNER
AN IDLE HAND IS THE DEVIL'S WORKSHOP

An idle hand is the tool of the Devil.

Mr Deji had been out of work for a while. He would sit at the balcony and stare at all that passed by. Soon he could match make cars with occupants. His wife gave him a wide berth when she was at home. If he asked for conjugal bliss, it rarely happened. She would gently mock him, “that’s the only job you have? Oga I am tired!”(alai ni ronu). He began to lose his self confidence.

There was a couple that lived nearby(they happened to be our neighbor then). The families were close. They had a househelp.

One day she was sent over to our place and after she left, she went into Mr Jide's room then the devil used him. The devil used him several times. She called him one day, “uncle I am pregnant”. he wanted to die. He was scared to mention abortion. What if she died during the process? He was scared to tell his wife and his two kids!

Bisi was her name. She would come over when she was sent, I would notice how bad Mr Jide will be sweating whenever he set his eyes on her. I knew very soon, her employers would know and ask questions. “Who was responsible?” The mind is a wicked one. He began to wish she died. He would fantasize that she was hit by a car. Or ambushed by robbers. He killed her a thousand times in his mind(from his look whenever she comes around).

This was the girl I personally wanted to shine her kongo but when Mr Jide was trapped, then I understood the path of human madness whenever you are idle and the devil makes use of your time.

One good day, we were seated outside and the wife came home from the market and said “Bisi is pregnant.”(you know how women act when they want to do aproko) his heart was shivering, I asked “which Bisi?” Then she told me. In a shaky voice, “ has she mentioned who was responsible?” “No” she answered. “She says she wants to go home and have the baby ” then I sighed and stylishly looked at Uncle Jide's reaction.(he was so cold and depressed).

Bisi came about two days later. She wanted a million Naira to travel back home. She promised not to mention his name. She would go away and leave him alone. Peace for a Million Naira that Uncle didn't have(a jobless married man). A new problem. Seeking the million Naira was his undoing. That was why the police were looking for him some months ago. He had ruined his own life for a few moments of pleasure.

To be continued...
True life story.

Pinky this is interesting but please no two part stories cos some people read the first one and cannot find where the second one is or they read and forget...

  1. Divine Health Confessions!!

Christ lives in me; therefore, no sickness or infirmity can dwell in my body. I declare today that my body is strong and healthy! Sickness and infirmity have no place in me. The life of Christ is at work in every fiber of my being, in every bone of my body, and in every cell of my blood.

    1. Teejay, I love your write-ups. Very spot on, and I can even see what you wrote up there from many families I know. Female children are a huge blessing cos they never forget where home is. I remember one time like that when things were rosy for me, during Xmas if I eat and have not sent that same thing to my family, I can never eat with happiness knowing they have not eaten the same thing. Blessed are women indeed for those who know their value. Pinky's corner lovely piece too. Shout out to all the ladies in the house, and thanks, Stella.

    2. Anonymous 14:17, why don't you ask God for the grace to forgive, forget and move on instead. Why are you waiting and watching for evil to befall him? Can't you see that you are holding yourself hostage by waiting for Karma. Please, try forgiving your ex and moving on, it will help your healing. As, Christians we are taught to forgive and sometimes you waiting for ill to befall your ex shows you are havenot forgiven and you might be hindering yourself too and before you know it you are losing your own life too. Move on desire Karma or not. Sometimes people make mistakes cos they know no better and can not give you what they don't have. Make excuses for his foolishness and move on in peace.

  8. This is for BV Slim Shady, who posted on Karma yesterday. I posted my comment late yesterday, so, just in case you did not see it.

BV Slim Shady, I will choose to take another route on this your post up there. I perceived hate, envy, and malice from what you wrote up there. You are constantly waiting for evil to befall this cousin of yours. How much is it he took from you that you hold him in such contempt. Please, sometimes learn to let go of stuff, and you have not completely forgiven that your cousin like you said you have, if not you won't be waiting for Karma to visit him. My people say, "he that holds another person holds himself" Please, write off that debt cos you see this life man is not God, that thought you have against him might be what is holding your own progress back. I swear this your mindset is evil. To top it off you see that dream you had, it was an upshot of the grudge you held against him. He might never have planned to harm you in any way. Even that your uncle's dream was caused by what you had in mind and the devil is using it against you.

If everyone held unto things like you do, this world would have been finished. I know of a lot of person's who have wronged me in the past, some did not even know what they were doing, or never meant to and just acted in the capacity they knew best. Even me, I have also stepped on people. So, I should waiting for their lives to fall apart, they die, so as to say Karma caught up with them? My dear learn to make excuses for people, forgive genuinely and know that people make upke mistakes. Please, forgive that guy and move on and stop waiting for God to destroy his life because you loaned him 15K. Man no be God and thank God his ways are not our ways.

    3. I remember lending some money to a friend who needed it,she didn't even tell me,she was planning her wedding neither was I invited to it. It was later I got to find out from people that she had wedded, I felt bad.
Some months after lending her the money, she came to plead with me that she couldn't meet with the payment that I should forgive her,I forgave her not knowing she was putting it into her wedding. She invited my neighbours but didn't inform me.
I felt bad when I found out the whole thing but I forgave and let go. Bearing grudges kills the spirit, there is a certain peace and greater power that comes from letting go. Each time I see her,her conscious pricks her but I don't even behave as if I notice,I just go all out and greet and ask her about everything. Peace is always is always better.

It is true forgive and let go because u forgiveness is the umbilical cord that keeps you tied to the past. When you forgive, you cut the cord. So slim let go so your spirit will be light and see the blessing of God.

  16. "Sowing into the sinful nature and reaping corruption"

This is basically someone who has known the Truth but decided to live in the lie.
The ultimate corruption of the flesh is hell fire.
The rich man in Luke 16 treated the poor Lazarus so badly and he lost out on eternal life. "In hell he lifted up his eyes..."
This man never thought that there is a place he will find himself and he could not afford a finger-tip drop
    of water.
He became poorer than Lazarus or any person that has ever walked the earth.
He pleaded for the souls of his five
brothers to be reached before they could reach that terrible place but
he was told that it was "not possible."
Please be saved and live the life of a saved soul not to find yourself in hell fire.
Thanks for sharing and reminding us.

    2. The amazing thing about that rich man's story each time I read it is that, people in hell do not accuse God of injustice. They know they chose that part while on earth and they are so selflessly considering the salvation of their relatives on earth. But it is too late for them.

  18. The people that started this saying 'na only for womb e dey tey' or something like that actually know what they were saying.

I can't believe how much my baby has grown and how fast. At 5 months, she already got her two lower teeth ( yes we are brushing now 💃💃). Then she started sitting perfectly and almost immediately started crawling. Now she's holding things to start and acting like she's now too big to be crawling round the house 😍😍😍. I am getting everything on tape. I'm totally doing too much with this. Always taking pictures and videos. If only this lady could talk, she'd be like 'mum stop! I'm tired' (hopefully in Portuguese).

Then the love you feel for ur baby is so so impossible to explain. My husband says it's the closest thing one can feel to unconditional love like you could easily lay your life for ur own child and not think twice about it.

I remember when we had the corona virus. Before we found out we were positive and my baby was the only one showing symptoms of cough, catarrh and fever, I would constantly pray to God to take the illness away from her and pass it to me instead. When I feel her forehead and it's hot, I'd just start crying.

When I eventually became sick and she was now OK, I remember telling my husband 'better me than her abeg'.

I love this child more than I could ever love anything or person in this world 😍😍😍😍.

  26. Dante nice one 👍
Teejay, parents know how important female children are but most choose to deny, claiming the male child is,all because of family name.Although it goes both ways, bcos there are still lots of female children who don't take care of their parents and are male children taking very good care of their parents. All in all,na to pray to God, whether male or female to make them the best for you.

  33. Happy new month to alb the bvs. Welcome to the ember months. Took my vaccine today. I am seriously having pains on my arm. I was advised to take painkillers for it which I have done so. This is my first jab and I am glad I did take it, even though a lot of family and friends were against it.
So many stories making round why you shouldn't take it. Our lives are in God's hands and he alone knows our future ..
I have handed over my life to him .
So I do my part and leave the rest to him.
    Case closed.

  34. @Teejay, nice witte up..but I want us to know that, no matter much more you love your wife or children, your aged parent should also be part of ur crucial duty..I don't joke with my parents not minding what so ever way they have wronged me.They still remain my Second god after my Creator cuz through them God gave me life and opportunity to be among the living.

  36. Teejay I have two boys and I'm done birthing kids, I'll adopt a girl when I reach 45yrs old but the truth is, I'm gonna hustle my ass off and get investments and my own fortune so I don't depend on any child in my old age, the Bible says, use your youthful age and work for your old age.

Phcn has been showing us shege here for the past 6 days now, power supply has been so unstable. These people are going to see crazy if they continue like this because, people are gladly paying the outrageous bill just because there's constant supply. I pray they go back to the default settings cos I'm not feeling this new way abeg
