How is everyone doing? Hmmmmm so we have rich people on this Blog who have over 100 million in their accounts and they cant even use 10 million to epp fellow Naijas?  LOL

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.

What is it with the shaming culture? I see people who shame other people as people who are insecure and feel inadequate.

When I was thin as in skinny, I was called all manner from “pankere" to “bonga fish". Then I gained weight, some people still complained saying nasty things. Before I used to keep quiet but now I have a sharp retort for anyone who dares to open their mouth and body shame me.

Thinking about it, I am also guilty and I am working on it. I used to call one of my sister “two left legs" because of the way her legs tend to go in different directions and another friend “headboy”. I might have been joking but I was contributing to lowering their self esteem but now I know better.

Recently I had the opportunity of meeting women struggling with obesity caused by medical conditions such as PCOS , thyroid issues and the side effects of the drugs used in the treatments, also the side effects of anti depressants, the struggle is real. Its very difficult to keep the weight off.

I am learning to be more sympathetic to people and keep shut when I have nothing to say. I had two experiences in the last few months that shocked me.

I went to greet my hubby at work with the kids and an elderly man approached me, he greeted me first and asked if I was “the wife”. I said yes, and he went on to say that hope I was planning to have more kids, that until I have a girl I don’t have kids yet, he asked who do I think would follow me to the kitchen.

He warned strongly that I should not spoil my boys by domesticating them. He said boys have no business doing house chores. Sincerely I was too shocked to reply, someone else said the same thing to me few weeks ago , he was the boss of a boss so I couldn’t reply but I was fuming.

Nothing you do can ever satisfy people. I am more determined to say kind words to people and be kind too.

Good afternoon everyone. 

Stellz Ma'am, I don't know if you'd post this here, anywhere else or as a chronicle. The bv that lost her relationship due to genotype issue, you're a brave.

 I didn't say you shouldn't love someone oo, but don't let your selfish interest and over loving cloud your sense of reasoning. So this guy and his girlfriend came into the pharmacy with their lab result.

 They've undergone a genotype test and it was found out that both are AS. He's our very good and close customer so he thought he could come and show us their results. He handed the results over to the doctor and told him to go through it.

 After cross examining the results, the doc asked him if he's aware that they CANNOT get married, cos he is planning to marry the girl. He said yes, they've gone to several laboratories and they all showed the same thing, but he must marry the girl.

 His reasons were that, both of them are so much in love with each other and that they can't cope without each other. 

Doc went on in trying to make him understand the harm it'd cause them in future, how they'd birth mentally derailed kids and so on but this guy gave us a shocker of our lives.................. He said he was going to kill those kids!!!!!.

 He said if his wife gets pregnant and he finds out that the child won't be healthy through scan, he'd tell the doctor to get rid of it!!!! 

And if they didn't find out on time, he'll kill the child once it's brought forth in the world!!!. 

My brethrens, we were shocked and dumbfounded at once. Non of us said anything again. Even the doctor became short of words. To actually even think that both of them were laughing and shouting 'no time to waste' while he was saying it.

 I just pray for them cause I know they're just wallowing in their ignorance. Sometimes, love is not just enough. May God help us in this life.

So sad.. I dont think they both really Understand...

Their love will not last ...
