How long does it takes for ones period to come out after giving birth? I am yet to see my period after 3 months plus. After my first pregnancy, i saw my period after 2 months. I dunno why its taking long now
ReplyDeleteIt varies, some don't even have a single period by the time their child turns a year old, so relax and enjoy yourself.
DeleteExclusive breastfeeding too contributes to ones period not starting early enough after giving birth.
If you are concerned about not getting pregnant though, I'll advise you visit your doctor or midwife to get on a suitable contraceptive.
Mine didn't start till the 5th month (and I'm sure it would have taken longer if not for the iucd I had installed.)
If I can reassure you, It’s almost 6 months and I have not gotten my period. I strongly suspect breastfeeding as the reason for mine.

Wow sorry about the fact that you are ttc. Have you undergone every medical procedure to ascertain if there were damages to your womb hence reason you have not been able to take in? If yes, like you already said, while you were in the world. We all were in the world at one point of our lives. The deed has been done and for a fact God condemns the act of abortion but you cannot continue to wallow in the past. The guilt you feel is only normal, that's to show that it's not a good thing. But to achieve peace is to acknowledge that you did the wrong thing, ask God for forgiveness genuinely from your heart and BELIEVE that he has forgiven you. Thereafter, you have to constantly study the word of God because it reassures you of God's forgiveness. Remember also that Satan will not relent in making you feel guilty so you have to continuously rebuke and put him in his place. You will achieve this by praying, reading and meditating the word in your heart. And most importantly, believing that the prayers are been answered and the word works. Keep doing it, not an easy one but God surely forgives, restores, heals, delivers and gives peace to them that ask of him. Cheers

Separate yourself unto God, embark on personal spiritual cleansing and cry to God in genuine repentance, asking for forgiveness of all trespasses using Psalms 51 day, noon and night. Use the blood of Jesus to purge your life clean and also pray for the souls of the departed children to forgive you because some of these aborted children have assignments on earth and once you deprive them through bloodshed, they keep crying for vengeance which hinder one. Invite the Holy Spirit to possess your life, teach and guide you. Then forgive yourself for your mistake make genuine peace with yourself. Going forward, take your mind off it and just dedicate yourself to one hour of sincere worship, praise and adoration every midnight from 12am-4am. After worshipping him, make your request, vow like Hannah and thank Him. Go and pay your vow ahead, look for motherless babies homes and sow a seed yearly and even if he doesn't answer you after a year, commit to it, ignore your mockers and never doubt God, He will show up for you. Also, go for corporate deliverance at MFM, CAC, RCCG or any church they genuinely serve God and called to the ministry of deliverance. If he forgave David, He can forgive you too. What is important is your sincerity and a problem identified and shared is half-solved. You will carry your own child, testify here and the fruit of your labour.

DeleteFrom your question, it seems you haven't even started applying, so why are you counting your chicks before they hatch? Wanting to relocate on a full scholarship is a wish or dream - it doesn't necessarily mean it will happen. Also, you will not get an exact answer to your question, because different factors will come into play.
The country you're planning on moving to. The university you will attend. The particular programme you will study. The length of the course. And most importantly, the awarding body of the scholarship...be it internal (ie. the university) or external ( an organisation etc.)
A lot of full scholarships only cover education-related expenses (eg. tuition, books, laptop, graduation expenses) so every other cost will be on you. Since you will be on a student visa, you will not be able to work full time...so bare in mind that you will need to cover childcare costs. Accomodation, food, bills, clothing, healthcare *may* be some of the expenses you *may* need to cover, based on the country you're living in.
When you start applying for the scholarships, you will see what they will provide as well as their requirements of you. If you're uncertain, then email them for clarity. Good luck!

DeleteHonestly, a question like this needs to be directed at the schools you have in mind, and not random people on a blog! Only the schools will be able to tell you what they do or don't accept!
Every school has its own entry requirements, and there are also "levels" to UK schools. There are some schools that will accept students with C, D, and even E grades, because they will be paying international fees. There are other schools that will not even accept a student that has 3 A+s, because they didn't demonstate varied extracurricular activities. The higher the school's ranking, the more difficult it is to get in.
Your best bet is to contact the admissions office, of the universities you're interested in.
How can I make my 6months old take pap? The way she cries when I am feeding her pap breaks my heart. Could it be the milk? I use nutristart.
ReplyDeleteLOL aww! Crying during feeding is not unusual but if she’s being extra agitated, then maybe she’s yet to acquire the taste or she’s teething or she’s swallowing too much air and it hurts or the pap is too thick. Nurse her more than she eat solid (pap).

ReplyDeleteYeah you can actually change the names to his once a mutual agreement has been established...My ex surname was different from his parents' surname...If I never witnessed this, I would have doubt if such scenario was possible...I don't think it's bad but based on the reason of your husband, you guys can change it to bear one surname..

If that is the case, it means you either bear his surname so that both of you will have same surname or his first so that you will have same surname with the kids. Change of name has implications especially on documents. If the surname doesn't have meaning, why is he still bearing it. It would have been better if he came up with a uniform surname for himself the kids and you before now.

ReplyDeleteNo 5 million cannot cover for living expenses for a family of 4 for 1 year in Canada (tuition fee isn't even included here).
DeleteHowever, if you are going with your husband and children, your husband will likely be granted work permit, with that he can start scouting for a job immediately you land, so he can start earning and supporting soon enough.
Even if you plan going alone, that 5M still won't be enough, except you work part time to cover for expenses.

I have a particular handle I buy clothes from. She's in Ibadan and her clothes are really nice and affordable. When I collected mine I was really impressed and I've been buying from her.
