Man Convicted For Impersonating Presidential Aide Femi Adesina Says He Used Half Of The Money For Sacrifices..

A man convicted of impersonation and fraud has detailed how he spent the $88,521 he obtained from his victim..









The convict, Jamiu Isiaka, who was sentenced to 28 years for impersonating Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), Femi Adesina, was found guilty of swindling a South Korean, Keun Sig Kim, to the tune of $88,521 [N30m].

As reported

by the News Agency of Nigeria, Isiaka, pleading his innocence, told the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin on Thursday that he used the money to conduct sacrifice for the petitioner.

    2. Exactly. How can they try to waste someone’s life for nothing; when we have politicians stealing far more than that. I don’t support fraud but this sentence is not commensurate with the crime. It is too harsh and needs to be reviewed. They should also look for a way of extracting the money from him and giving what is left to the victim of the fraud, so he doesn’t lose out completely.
