  2. Is it right for a husband to always stop the wife from attending functions like wedding, visiting her family etc?
You must inform him a month or two before and wait for the approval which most times is not approved. But he goes anywhere he wants even without informing his wife most times.
How can one stop this respectfully?

    1. Stop waiting for approval. Go first then inform him on your way there. If he gets angry, apologise that you forgot.

    2. very wrong and that is a red flag for an abuser.. Why will a husband not allow the wife attend functions and even visit family? they keep you caged to detach you from any form of help and leave you at their mercy also that nobody will advise you against their abuse.. you need to stand your ground but the person should be ready for stiffer sanctions which might be more abuse. if this happens then family members should be involved because a man who does this will most likely be a difficult personality. even if you respectively tell this kind of man he might not listen because it is a mindset he is stuck with...

    3. It's not right for a husband to always stop his wife from attending any functions whatsoever

You can stop it by having a thorough discussion with him and if he truly loves you and wants your happiness he'll grant your request...best of luck

      Delete
    4. this i think boils down to communication...ask him thoroughly what he wants
it is a red flag that should have been discussed

    5. This is a master/servant relationship.
Change the dynamics of the relationship to partners.
Does he also dictate what you eat, wear and talk to?
      Slavery.

    6. You are in a master/servant relationship.
Change the dynamics of your relationship so that your husband resets his brain and treats you like an adult, not a toddler.

    8. Anon, it is definitely not normal or OK. You are deserving of so much more. This screams like a Master/Servant relationship. Have a talk with him. Communication helps. I hope he changes cos I do not see how you can live this way for the rest of your life.

    10. Heavy red flag oh!!! Someone who has good intentions will not have a problem with you relating with your friends and family reasonably well, it's those that have bad intentions that will be angry so that nobody will have access to advise you against his antics, if I were you, I will table this matter to him respectfully and if he doesn't see reason with me, I will call for a family meeting.

    11. This is a dictatorship system of marriage (master/servant) very soon abuse will enter,if he says don’t go and u go it might result to beating or him locking u out.only a wicked man will stop his wife from visiting her family members or attending family functions,he wants to alienate u so that when the proper abuse starts no one will come to ur rescue cos they will believe that u intentionally stayed away from everyone.poster please sit him down and have a conversation with him, stand ur ground,u need to socialize and u need ur family members, don’t be rude tho when talking to him,be polite then when he refuses to agree to ur request let him know u can’t stay away from ur family.its not healthy, anything can happen tomorrow and u will have no one to go to.May God give u the wisdom to handle things.

    12. It is utterly wrong your husband to stop you from attending any gathering haha, you are an adult and not a child, telling your husband about your movement is out of respect now. I believe he is doing it intentionally to shut you out from Friends and family members.
You need to have a deep and serious conversation about the issue with him.For now let's assume he doesn't know that what he is doing is wrong, please have a long talk with him about this, you are his wife not a baby.
I pray God guide you ,❤️

    16. Anonymous, thread carefully. If you know you cant afford a fight, dont pick one. But if you can, pick it with your chest. Let that thing happen

      Delete
    17. Sit him down and talk to him about it. You should have resisted it and let him know you won't take it the very first time he did it but it is not too late to make amends. Discuss it with him, if he doesn't change, like if he scatters everything and gets angry instead (most likely what will happen, Naija men things 😀), report him to a reasonable elder that does not share his views (some elders will ask you "wetin you sef dey find outside?" 🤣).
In all, be wise in handling it since you did not say he is an irresponsible man, that is just what he does right? Don't let it break your home.

    1. Hi, Anon.

The ones I took were two types: The cinnamon x honey combo to be taken every morning starting 4 days to your ovulation till the start of your period.
That’s 2 tablespoon of honey and half a teaspoon of cinnamon.
      Then

The cinnamon, honey x milk tea (must be taken hot) starting from the day your period started to the last day.
Heat a cup of tin milk, add a pinch of cinnamon and a teaspoon of honey .

(I also took nutmeg and sugar combo but it was for my scanty period)
Both are best taken on empty stomach. I pray you get your miracle baby soonest. 💛

    1. Please next time buy a disposable plate from those road-side food vendors for #50 or #100 or you enter a fast-food and get one...

There are different sizes that can fit into a Ladies bag,so when it's time to use a public toilet for emergency like this;you use it to urinate then pour into the toilet and dispose it in the bin..

It's more hygienic that way for you as a lady..

      Hope this helps..

      @MARTINS

      Delete
    2. Yes using a public toilet causes infections, yes there might be need for concern, but you can take some antibiotics to prevent anything that might want to arise

    3. Martins, the poop or pee fit pass d disposable plate .😁

    4. 😃😃@Blackberry;then you double or triple and put them together in your bag(they always fit in)..

A ladies body is so sensitive and the least you need is the air around a public toilet breezing in and out of the Vagina, anus etc..

The #200 or #300 to get a disposable plate is cheaper compared to treating any infection gotten in future..😊😊

      @MARTINS

      Delete
    5. Public toilet doesn't cause vaginal infection. Except you sat inside the water for minutes.

      Delete
    6. Poster there's no cause for concern in your case. Please don't use any antibiotic as you don't have a bacterial infection.
NB: There is nothing called 'toilet infection', most of what we loosely call toilet infection is actually thrush aka candidiasis, or at worse vulvovaginitis due to bacterial infection.

  10. What happens to ones natural hair if you use texturize. Does it remove that natural hair feel?, do I need to make it a regular routine?, or once is enough to soften the hair. Does it stimulate hair growth?
I need answers to avoid mistakes.
Then lastly, how do I make natural hair grow and soft for easy combing

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anon 14:04 the texurizer will make your hair a bit softer and slightly relaxed. After weeks it will go back to it's natural stage. However if you terrorise too much your hair will loose it's texture. Better deep condition and use jack 5 moisturiser instead of texturizing. Applying water to your hair morning and evening then twinting before bed will make it very soft. Avocado and coconut oil help also.

    4. That's wayyyyyy too high. Visit a hospital now NOW. Tale whatever medication is given.
I am female and I was also diagnosed with HBP, after I almost passed out due to terrible heart palpitations. I took the drugs for a few months, while making lifestyle changes... E. G taking long walks (6k steps upwards) daily or doing mid level exercises. I also reduced salt intake. As a matter of fact, I eat only fruits or salad for breakfast and dinner, and eat cooked food for lunch.
      The outcome:
I lost a lot of weight (I was overweight) and my bp is uptimal, as in over normal. I no longer take medication.
But pls go and see a doctor NOW cos with that level of BP of yours, a heart attack is imminent
