I called people in Anambra state and some of them already left and some are on their way out. The once somewhat peaceful state I grew up in has turned to a war zone and it makes my heart bleed.
My heart bleeds not just cos of what's happening there but because I don't really understand why we can't pursue peace. Why have we chosen violence and bloodshed forgetting the essence of humanity.
