    3. Stella they didn't loot. They helped the store save what could be saved from the fire. There is another video showing the heap of items that they people brought out of the store.
I saw some of the items bloggers claimed were "looted" in the heap outside.

    1. Are you kidding me?
The fire would have destroyed the goods anyways.

    2. So all you can think of when a shop is burning is looting, why not help salvage what you can

    3. Anon 09:51, couldn't they pack those things and kept it securely in one corners for the owner?, instead of stealing it.

    4. 9.51 you are a thief, for you to be justifying this.

    6. Anon 9:51. For even reasoning like this, you are a thief. Stealing is in your blood. It just awaits manifestations. Wicked soul.

    1. Same thing happened to my elder brother when his house got burnt in Lagos, his properties were looted by his neighbors. He was at the Office not knowing his house was burning ooh.

    2. Y'all should cut Nigerians some slacks. They didn't loot the burning store. They only helped to move stuffs worth millions away from the building. The heap of the recovered items was even videoed.
I know there were some people there to steal but the bulk of them were there to help and they helped as much as they could.

    2. Thank you my dear. People just saw one video and jumped into conclusion.
When fire service could do nothing, those people risked their lives to help bring out items from the store. Now they are being tagged thieves

  8. After watching the video, I asked where is love for humanity.

Instead of helping stop the fire or secure the goods, they were busy looting the goods like hoodlums.

    1. Big fire of that magnitude could not have been stopped by those untrained looters.
And as for the looters, it's better the goods are useful to them than to have been destroyed by the fire.
